  1. Allen is missing less throws than ever imo…seems like a lot of people on this board haven’t watched other great qbs and they compare josh to some mythical perfect qb that never misses a throw and always finds the open guy. Everyone’s a critic when a play doesn’t work but josh is making tons of plays every week with this so called ‘hero ball’ that you are claiming lost us a game in which our defense surrendered 6 straight scores…what a joke
  2. I mean we play both super bowl teams from last year that can’t be too common lol
  3. Two weeks after nick wright said Josh Allen was as good as Daniel jones and Josh Allen is in the mvp conversation and his boy Mahomes looks like Daniel jones lol
  4. Definitely could be right and it's kind of funny because holding is totally cool on just your regular running play apparently
  5. Afc is pretty wide open this year with the chiefs stumbling a bit early thanks to us and then us losing to the titans 🤣 Titans are a good team they lost to the jets missing Julio and aj brown...lots of injuries now though
  6. Sack play was def on him he thought he had davis deep on a double move for the dagger to end the game and the free safety adjusted late to take it away...I'll defend the throw to sanders though he was doubled initially and beat both guys. We kind of lose perspective in a loss theres a lot of times allen is taking these deep shots when there's underneath stuff open and we connect and he wins us the game too
  7. I have heard rumblings it was an inside run to the left idk how I feel about that playcall either 🤣 that is just an educated guess though. I think im too much of a pessimist for discussions like this because I'm just assuming we wouldve lost whatever we did and if we kicked a fg on 4th and inches and Henry marched down and scored a td in ot j wouldve been so much more angry than how the game ended lol
  8. Oh yea I saw that after...i wasn't posting those numbers specifically to justify the sneak I just think going for it was the right move in general. The sneak I personally would defend but I could definitely see the criticism. I mean the titans offense was only getting more effective as the game went on that's kind of what Derrick henry slamming into you all night does to you. I really didn't like our chances in OT especially since a good chunk of it comes down to a coin flip. I am almost certain the titans were scoring a td on their first possession It's wild how close we came to picking that first up even with everything going wrong up front I have watched it like 40 times since I ready your post 🤣 glutton for punishment I guess . We may be a better team overall but we were losing all the important positional matchups in the trenches that become more important as the game extends into ot
  9. Thank you...I have seen so many people saying beasley was wide open to win the game...I blame the commentators they said that in situations where it was completely false numerous times throughout the night
  10. We have ran many sneaks where everyone and their mother knew they were coming and Josh has converted all but one which was a bad snap. 4th and a full yard i would absolutely agree with you. The thing that irks me is that if we ran any other play and didn't convert absolutely everyone that follows football would say 'you have josh allen how do you not sneak it there'
  11. Hes wrong according to any of those advanced metrics sites...granted everyone is free to take that with a grain of salt lol they had odds of us winning if we went for it at 63% and odds of winning if we kicked the fg at 42%. The team that can move the ball in the red zone as well as the home team gets a big edge in ot.
  12. Who does though? The bucs maybe? I think every team in the league has glaring weaknesses and nobody is really looking overly dominant
  13. He was great against the run but our lbs had a rough night against play action...which makes a lot of sense Yea I think its gonna be viewed more as an any given Sunday type loss due to that 4th and inches play...if we had picked up that first and then thrown 4 straight incompletions to lose the game the optics probably would've been different...or if we went to OT and Tennessee marched straight down the field and scored. I think we're underestimating how difficult it is to not get a couple inches on a sneak out of frustration over the loss lol we probably get that 95 times out of 100
  14. How is it not believable? Ten is built for red zone success and we were struggling in the red zone. I dont think theyre the better team overall but the way that game was playing out nobody was stopping anybody from marching down to the red zone and they were considerably more likely to punch it into the end zone. We couldn't even stop them in 3 down series how would we have stopped them when they had 4 to work with. I wouldve put us at a 60/40 underdog in OT if I had to guess and that 4th and inches play when ten is showing 4 down linemen we probably pick up like 80-90% of the time. Honestly I think it's more likely Bass misses a fg/bad snap/bad hold/blocked fg than allen gets stopped on 4th and inches there it was just a freak play. If it was 4th and a full yard totally different story
  15. Some shenanigans happened with the spot that I think our coaches took huge exception to and it threw everything off. officials signaled first down and then some magical force from above changed the call on the field without it being an official review. I do think they ended up with a good spot though for the record but that is not how it shouldve happened and that really messed us up...guaranteed McDermott is furious he just doesn't want to make excuses. If it was an official review even if the first down ruling was reversed we wouldve had more time to cook up a play. We really got screwed pretty hard but if you can't get a couple inches to pick up the first down you don't deserve to win so we have no business blaming the refs. I mean...how could we use a timeout... we only had two left right? And that wasn't a goal line play so the clock was going to be running if we got the first...that spot not getting reviewed really screwed us since they ruled it a first initially I'm surprised that's not getting talked about more
  16. He makes absurd plays look completely routine...on a lot of these strikes he throws deep down the field on the run the receiver is only open because the defender is like no wayy anybody can make this throw lol
  17. I think its pretty encouraging the titans are really not a good matchup for us and it was on the road after a huge game against the chiefs and we played well enough to win...I think the titans tipped their hand on what pass rushes they like to run if we end up seeing them again and we'll be better prepared to take advantage of their weak secondary since the oline will hold up a little better. Hard for me to give the dline all the blame when they had guys running wide open all over the field because our lbs could not stay at home during play action.
  18. I said the same thing I dont want to say I was happy that got called back but I think our win percentage wouldve been lower if we didn't get the last possession. We couldn't stop the Titans when they had 3 downs to work with imagine if they had 4.
  19. Every 'super bowl favorite' will likely lose multiple tough games this year...the nfl and the afc specifically are very wide open and we could easily still be viewed as the team to beat even after that loss. Back to back road games against kc and ten is a tough ask for anyone Exactly...yea we got beat up a bit in the trenches but the strengths of our team more than kept us in the game. Both our losses have felt a bit flukey so far compared to last year when we got absolutely annihilated by ten and kc
  20. Taking a 12 yard sack is def worse than throwing it away too...not the worst play in the world
  21. Lol what happened to Dawkins is pretty much impossible is what I'm saying...looked like Josh tried to do exactly what brady did just a little left of center because he knew all he had to do was fall forwards to pick up a few inches... but Dawkins was in his lap in the split second it took him to take the snap so he slipped. We wouldve been more successful if we didn't even have a LT on that play somehow 🤣 the defender basically tackled josh with Dawkins instantly. Clearly it didn't work so we're all free to criticize but it is an absolute freak play not being able to get a couple inches on a sneak even if the defense loads up against it...like getting stopped when you need a full yard is one thing.
  22. I feel like we're putting uneccesary blame on the dline but maybe that's a hot take...tannehill had guys wide open immediately every play because our linebackers were absolutely clueless
  23. I think the part we don't really talk about is we were probably going to be a sizeable underdog in OT...win percentage was probably higher sneaking on that 4th and inches especially because we were finally sticking it to the titans dline a bit. In OT both teams wouldve marched down the field but theres no way we were stopping them in the red zone Lol how is that a weak answer? That is literally exactly what happened in the game. The Titans DL was not crushing us at the end of the game...Josh had tons of time...sneak was the right call he gets that 90% of the time...even with the putrid blocking I bet he picks it up if he didn't slip on Dawkins getting shoved into his lap
  24. It's criminal TB had to play in Washington last season lol I wonder if they ever change that
  25. It's incredible how many times levy said 'the bills fans invading Nashville has been overrated' loll like what did he expect the stadium to be 90% bills fans 🤣
