I dont know enough about rugby to refute this one but using three of your receivers to lift up one dude in a position in the end zone where he doesn't really have a way to adjust his positioning to catch a 60 yard pass while your qb is running for his life is the best use of resources haha im sure one of these nfl coaches would be crazy enough to try it if it would work I have absolutely no doubt allen wouldve loved to be out there on that play...that is for sure 😁 -

The qb couldve been taken out before the receivers even got near the end zone though...with the gift of hindsight on our side here I think more pressure was the way to go. Thats what was so crazy about that throw...they flushed Murray out and he threw an absolute dime in the perfect spot where only Hopkins had a realistic shot at it. Murray and Hopkins could go out there after the game and try to recreate that play 100 times and they'd never do it again lol -

Haha I mean some of the stuff I've seen Josh allen do that seems impossible makes that almost a valid argument 🤣 its not the craziest post I've seen today lol -

I feel like poyer couldve not played the ball and just blasted Hopkins when he caught it too...looks like he was trying to do that but only ended up taking out tre lol -

You're losing a rusher though to put a quarterback in coverage. -

Yea it seems like we know we didn't need that win and theres more important games to come which takes some of the sting out of it for me...the offensive line which at times looks like the strength of this team was getting absolutely embarrassed in the second half -

Haha that reminds me of The Waterboy 'last game of the season cant hold anything back now' quote...I think our only chance the way that play worked out was sending more guys on the blitz though...I still can't get over how perfect that pass was. Granted we wouldn't have known that was going to happen when the play was called -

The game day thread was hilarious when we went down 3 you should take a read through that if you want to see crazy haha idk maybe its just me but I am in the mindset that I expect Josh to go down the field for the go ahead score now and that is a silver lining here This is true...we are holding some important players out though who I assume will be back after the bye. Did mitch morse take any snaps today I dont think I saw him out there...Brian winters was the worst player playing professional football in the United States today lol -

This is to play devils advocate mostly because it is clear the 3rd quarter is our worst quarter but how are we having good 4th quarters if our coaches don't know how to make adjustments 😁 -
I watched this game with a lot of fans of various teams who described it as the luckiest play they've ever seen...so its not the whole world at the very least 🤣
-
It really was 2 poyer was late...those two were pretty well positioned though 🤣
-
I think they had to make a play on the ball on Hopkins way down with it...white looks like he tries to pull it out of Hopkins hands which was never gonna work...poyer looked like he was trying to destroy Hopkins as he was catching it and mistimed his break or something. Im sure they're worried about tipping the pass away and another receiver catching it too Can you realistically jam Hopkins at the line with one defender...you've gotta think it would take two right? Seems risky if he finds a way to beat those two guys... idk if thats something defenses actually try
-
I didnt mean to call you a troll my apologies... you are certainly entitled to your opinion I just honestly wasn't sure with that height comment. Deandre hopkins literally makes his living making that exact kind of play. It certainly couldve been disrupted from a pressure on the qb standpoint but once that somehow absurdly on target throw was in the air it was too late. These others you speak of are certainly not arguing that deandre hopkins height similarity to Jordan poyer means hopkins doesn't have a huge advantage in a jump ball situation or that he shouldve been interfered with. It was just an impossibly on target throw given the situation...if we had just let Murray sit in the pocket and fire a strike like that id be right there with you with being upset about it
-
Hopkins has 10+ inches on a jump ball over someone 2 inches shorter than him haha who is 'we'... this is just science and math and it is literally impossible to dispute 🤣 if you're saying we need some kind of equally freakish athlete of a DB to be able to stop that precise situation then sure let's go get em im on board
-
You can definitely be unhappy lol im not telling you you should be happy...I just took exception to your point about any of the dbs being able to win a jump ball over Hopkins simply because they are similar in height and that they shouldve interfered with him...these points were both scientifically and factually inaccurate
-
But what you're saying is based on a completely inaccurate analysis of the situation and rules of football to almost trolling levels lol the odds of Hopkins coming down with that pass while its in the air are quite low still despite him being the only one in position to catch it...the odds the cardinals score from the 1 yard line after the pass interference wouldve been MUCH higher..wouldve been probably the worst pass interference in nfl history and thats not even hyperbole
-
Lol if you are 100% sure Hopkins is gonna high point a ball out of the air and hold onto it for a td then go ahead and interfere with him and give the cardinals the ball on the one yard line sure. But theres no way to know that while the ball is in the air! A PI there would have been the most boneheaded penalty in bills history and this board would've exploded 🤣 every team should just forfeit right now and give the super bowl to the cardinals if your bar for a team being good is being able to knock down a perfectly thrown jump ball to deandre Hopkins
