  1. Yep it was some combination of bad medical advice, weak protocols, and intentionally getting an important player back on the field and it’s hard to tell how big of a factor each of those pieces was with what is publicly available. At the end of the day the dolphins coaches could’ve chosen to hold him out…there’s no way a doctor could say tua absolutely did not have a concussion from the 10 minute test they do
  2. I feel like I remember hearing he had a back injury coming into the bills game but I’ll see if I can find any info on it.
  3. It probably isn’t an automatic no go if there is some kind of reasonable alternate explanation…which they thought they had
  4. My guess with absolutely zero medical training but several documented concussions lol is that he probably had a back injury and a concussion. the team doctor probably suggested the loss of motor function could’ve happened from the back injury if he passed all the other concussion tests and the independent neurologist said it was possible. It’s the team doctors call ultimately. I bet they waited til halftime to test him so he got some of his wits back. If he got that test right away no way he would’ve passed Yup a loophole that was exploited either accidentally or knowingly
  5. His throws always seem to have a lot of air under them…especially the outs. Idk if that’s covered by the definition of ‘arm strength’ though
  6. This bengals game was proof that the injury bug is gonna cost every team a game at some point…Miami hung around without tua but the floodgates opened once Howard went down. Evened out some of the good fortune the dolphins have seen with injured opponents so far
  7. Oh now backup corners matter apparently haha not last week though. We still had wayy more injuries last week than they have in this game and I think we’re gonna hear those excuses from them after this game
  8. Why do they keep saying ‘movement in all extremities’ like it was a spinal injury…he could still have massive brain damage
  9. A miracle defensive adjustment at halftime that caused an incredibly rare mahomes meltdown
  10. Yep…they come for every team at some point.
  11. The bengals don’t match up well with the dolphins defense…they run too many deep long developing routes
  12. Bridgewater isn’t as accurate but he seems like he’s better at going through progressions…tua seems like a 1-2 read guy but if his guy is open he won’t miss
  13. Mahomes just couldn’t beat the single high safety look with a couple robbers. The chiefs spanked them in the first half.
  14. Teddy is looking just as good as tua has
  15. Wow the independent neurologist just consults?
  16. ‘To the letter of the nfl’s law’ is the interesting part there. Maybe the protocol is just a joke
  17. Milano didn’t hit him hard but tua was off balance and fell very hard on his head
  18. Ho boy hope he didn’t have a concussion last week…he had all day to get rid of the football there though
  19. He had a Samoan name growing up in Hawaii lol I’m sure he was fine
  20. He followed up the best throw in his career with one of the worst…y’all jinxed him lol
  21. That drive is the dolphins in a nutshell for me…they move the ball well all drive then have a play blown up in the flat and it details their drive
  22. He’s as good as anyone throwing to guys that were schemed wide open which is what we’ve seen so far…seems very gunshy in tight windows though
  23. Only because the free kick was insane…an average free kick and we likely win that game easily
  24. I think they’re a little better than that Steelers team that went 12-0 or whatever
  25. I am more sure we will get them in the rematch than if we destroyed them with our starters Sunday. That roster we were down to in the second half was pretty dreadful and we still should’ve pulled it out. I hope he spitefully stops blowing teams out just to adhere to this silly metric. I doubt Brady, mahomes, and rodgers had a run of 20 consecutive two + score wins. We are reaching historic levels. He’s had plenty of clutch should be game winning drives that the defense blew too…ala cardinals game and chiefs playoffs game. Bucs game he was great and we got hosed on that uncalled pi against diggs in the end zone that would’ve won us the game…josh was plenty clutch in that one. pats cheapshotted him his rookie year and he missed the tail end of the potential game winning drive. You really gonna hold those against him? josh is extremely clutch imo, it’s the defense that’s great until an absolutely key moment then can’t make the play
