If we could put a roof on the stadium right now to finish out this season id do it…but going forward long term we can plan around playing in the elements. A dome benefits the opposing team too I’m sure some teams wish they could take their roof off against us this season but they can’t 😂

Haha I’m gonna somewhat echo what he’s saying but I think they’re in a similar camp with the pats where they’re not really built to compete with the elite teams so Super Bowl run is definitely a stretch. I think we’re underrating our two wins against Miami a bit and they could give the pats trouble in the rematch We have also had much later picks than we’re used to because our team is actually good now haha a lot of the big time sure nfl starters are in the first half of the first round usually Davis is definitely losing targets to Knox and sanders this year…I think he is someone we like overall though. If we were still rolling with John brown and the Knox with the stone hands I think we’d be seeing a lot more of Davis

Any news on brown? One weak link on the oline you can gameplan around…two gets difficult to manage
-
He got absolutely victimized and was practically living in the wrong gaps. Colts were definitely picking on him with their play design. When they run 40 times your middle linebacker is eventually gonna luck into some tackles lol

We need a year where the cap isn’t significantly reduced and we can invest in a more balanced offensive line…no dome should benefit us in the long run with a strong armed qb. We really were forced to choose dline or oline to work on this offseason and the offensive line wasn’t THIS bad last year lol
-
Yep we got hosed by that in the afc championship as well…if that game is called like the superbowl was maybe we win a shootout…I don’t think there’s some grand conspiracy against us…I think there’s just an ebb and flow of nfl refs being instructed to let players play leading to a disastrous no call then nfl refs are instructed to keep a closer eye on something leading to a disastrous penalty call and it just keeps flipping back and forth 😂
-
Not to mention Henry’s 70 yard run against us had about 4 uncalled holding penalties lol. They were hurting us with play action late in that game…I thought we did a decent job against Henry. It was pretty eye opening to see the titans moving the ball with absolute nobodies at all their skill positions against the pats…granted we can’t read too much into previous games and they won that game anyway.

I think the media hype machine has some people spooked lol I’ve never seen such a mismatch with how they are hyping up a team and the actual positional matchups on the field. It’s borderline illogical. Pats could certainly win the game but they are all kinds of overrated even while playing well...it’s no fault of their own they are just being talked about like they’re the 07 pats for some reason haha They’re getting the benefit of the doubt because of their history but they don’t have a statement win all season our team has won some huge games the last few years so if anyone gets the benefit of the doubt it should be us. The script has really flipped since Brady left and it’s weird to be in this position…we have definitely got hyped up as a possible team to dethrone NE numerous times throughout the years only to be torched by Brady when the game is actually played lol if NE wins tonight I’m all for talking about them as a potential super bowl team but let’s play the game first…the fact that they blew out teams like the falcons doesn’t mean diddly when they get to the playoffs

I think the pats secondary is very exploitable if we get even slightly below average pass blocking…problem is in our losses the pass blocking has been awful lol Yea even indirectly…rodgers being out when kc played gb definitely hurt us a bunch. They look like they’re in the drivers seat for the 1 seed now when they could’ve been still battling it out for the afc west division if they lost that game
-
Yea they seem to be running into teams at the right time lol this could’ve been way worse though. We have gotten lucky with injuries at times and unlucky a few times too. We’ve gotta be one of the only teams that saw a healthy Steelers defense and also one of the only teams that had to go against Henry/Julio jones/aj brown. But we got the practice squad saints offense and a few backup qbs along the way Edmunds was out vs colts and Klein started at mlb…he was absolutely dreadful and the main contributing factor why our defense looked so bad Yea not to get into vaccine opinions specifically but looking at the rules of how long you have to wait to come back from Covid vaccinated vs unvaccinated it’s pretty much a no brainer that an nfl player being vaccinated is a huge help to the team.

Good thing they don’t play football levitating 100 feet in the air haha not sure it will be as bad as the flags look at field level…I think short/medium high velocity throws won’t by altered too much. I love the idea of someone like mac jones trying to throw an out route in wind like that against us…I don’t think he has the arm strength for those types of throws tonight
-
If you flipped it and they had an elite secondary and a good front seven I’d be more worried about the match up…I don’t think they’re as good as that healthy Steelers defense we saw week one and we will probably see a similar game plan of short/intermediate passes and not many runs and we will complain we didn’t run the ball enough if we lose 😂
-
This feels like a semantics / optimist vs pessimist thing haha. You could also look at it as we’ve got a strong arm qb so we will be able to pass the ball still and they may struggle airing it out and be confined to running the ball. It certainly won’t be josh Allen in ideal conditions but he could still make big plays with his arm. This isn’t the first windy game he’s played in…he made a couple huge plays in that ravens playoff game

Star and brown were on the Covid list for a pretty short time…it’s a bit of a guess but I’m assuming they were unvaccinated with little to no symptoms but tested positive so they were forced to be out the minimum 10 days. Not to mention star is gonna take snaps from Harrison Phillips who was essentially playing on one leg so even if he’s a bit below 100% it’s still a huge upgrade. Feliciano may not be 100%
