  1. If Spector is forced into a meaningful playoff role I think it’s over for us anyway…he’s just free yards in coverage
  2. I completely agree it’s far too nuanced for a bar graph vaguely labeled ‘total injuries’ to prove anything haha that’s kind of exactly what I was saying too 😂 I’m all for agreeing to disagree
  3. Spector played the really bad 40% of the snaps, got injured, and forced Williams in who it seems like we were hoping to bubble wrap for the playoffs and the game immediately turned around in our favor if Spector played 0% of the snaps idk if the pats hit double digits…the guy is truly awful. He plays like he was scientifically engineered to be used as a retort to the ‘every team has injuries’ argument 😂
  4. Idk who we is haha I definitely talk about those things. The lions bills game was a shootout where both teams were targeting guys that shouldn’t be on an nfl football field. my entire point is the offense has to carry you when you’ve got easily exploitable guys on defense forced onto the field and the lions are a perfect example of that. Hell the 13 seconds game was the same..mathieu went down and we straight up abused Daniel Sorensen and the chiefs picked on Dane Jackson a ton. That’s just one injury on your bar graph but it was massively consequential i think you’re mixing up the total number of injuries with impact. We can be missing more guys but if the injuries fell a little differently we’d be in better shape than we are now. Safety and linebacker are the two spots we absolutely could not afford multiple injuries and that’s exactly where virtually all the injuries went. If you’re arguing we don’t actually have many total injuries it makes it even more unlucky not less. If there were more injuries spread out among multiple position groups we’d be much better off
  5. That’s not really what im arguing but if we want to talk that I believe the bills literally have had a stronger strength of schedule so far this year 😂 tough to find the info for games already played though. I was looking at the espn fpi sos I was saying two primetime AFC championship/ Super Bowl preview type wins down the stretch against teams that hardly ever lose matters so so so much more than two early in the year losses against playoff teams that no voter is even going to consider what you’re saying
  6. I literally don’t think it’s humanly possible to overestimate how bad baylon Spector is and how often teams single him out when he’s on the field lol like that’s a nice canned response for the vast majority of injuries for any given team but it doesn’t fit here at all imo. I watch a lot of football and I have not seen a player get significant snaps that’s anywhere near as bad as him. A lot of this seems like we’re doing it proactively because we know we can’t afford any linebacker or safety injuries for the playoffs.. there’s just no way he’d be playing otherwise. I’m sure rapp would be out there if it was playoff time too
  7. What depths of font hell did this image come from lol I can’t even read it 😂
  8. They are hardly the least injured team on a game to game basis lol they have the least long term injuries though sure
  9. The pats dbs were legitimately 10 times better than the lions or rams’ idk why people think this is weather lol Gonzalez is a known good player at this point but Jonathan jones played out of his mind worse weather probably would’ve helped us more 😂. It would’ve likely took a few of those perfect throws maye dropped in away and we were running the ball even better than they were
  10. Yea I think I called Spector an offensive cheat code in another post 😂. Idk how you can even bring pressure when whoever Spector is near is a free quick completion every time lol might as well blitz him every play I think DT is the problem personally. A lot of these DEs that pile up sack numbers (which seem to be all this board cares about when evaluating DE play) are getting help from competent DT play which allows them to clean up. Idk what happened to Daquan jones but he’s been really bad
  11. I can’t believe how slept on he is haha even von has been playing pretty well. Seems like our DEs get pressure but can’t clean up because our DTs are pretty bad This doesn’t make sense to me personally. You absolutely need to sign a LB then and you’ve cost yourself the opportunity to see if Milano bounces back from injury. Cutting Milano makes the LB depth razor thin.
  12. Idk if I’d say we officially know haha but I’m pretty sure you’re right. Williams seemed like he was active for emergency purposes
  13. To be fair to the kc critics a couple of those games were straight up dumb luck wins…I don’t even see them as gutting out an ugly one. But still, that would put them at 12-3 which is more than impressive
  14. It probably won’t…at 14-3 josh will get it but idk if he’ll start week 18 I don’t think the record against playoff teams means diddly when the bills are 2 of Detroit/kcs three losses. If we lost to Detroit maybe that point factors in
  15. Those pats RBs had some all time great blitz pickups…idk if we did something tricky with alignment late in the game but Dorian was FLYING through the offensive line lol. I’m sure that was affecting plays even when it didn’t get home Blitzing linebackers with Spector playing makes a ton of sense even if it doesn’t work because he is probably the worst coverage linebacker I’ve ever seen. The only thing he’s even close to average at is pass rush. Leaving him in coverage is an easy quick completion to somebody as if you were blitzing without even sending a guy 😂
  16. Milano we were just trying to throw a bunch of snaps at to get him ready for the playoffs. He wasn’t a whole lot better than Spector when in the lineup and Spector is horrendous. Looks like it’s not gonna work out and we’re gonna start Williams imo
  17. Spector going down probably won us that game honestly 😂. Clearly we didn’t want to risk Williams getting hurt unless we had to so im sure the team wasn’t super happy he got forced in the game but it was a massive upgrade.
  18. They got reffed against kc a bit 😂. Couple bs drive extenders in that one
  19. The problem is when he was playing super well you wouldnt think to trade him lol. Once he’s injured and recovering you’d be selling him low and get next to nothing for him also Spector might be the worst football player in the nfl so trading a linebacker midseason is an insanely bad idea
  20. Dorian was essentially out for load management when ne scored those two early tds. Even just him over Spector all game and none of the injured guys back and it’s a very different game imo
  21. I find it hard to believe teams go super vanilla on purpose but personnel wise we were definitely holding back at the very least.
  22. Baylon Spector is a cheat code for an offense lol how can you even get pressure if he can’t cover a TE for a half second 😂.
  23. I can’t figure out this officiating sh*t at all…like the dpis late sure that could go either way depending on the ref but it seems like just when we’re about to put away a game there’s a few straight up phantom ol holds and a blown false start out of nowhere 😂. It’s really strange. They don’t pull that stuff on kc
  24. I’m not disputing that it happens at all, it just happens to other teams more. A lot of people on this board have just lost the context because they don’t follow what other teams are doing. The chiefs won just about every game like this. The lions a few weeks before we played them got taken down to the wire by the bears. It’s incredibly common at this level of football
  25. Some of the specific points people are making are nonsensical but I get what you’re saying overall haha. I think a lot of people don’t watch a lot of other teams play consistently so they think some of this negative stuff is unique to the bills when it very much isn’t. bad teams go down swinging a lot more often than most here are insinuating for one current example. The insane run we had of double digit wins definitely spoiled people. This whole ‘how can a game come down to an onside kick/ td with little to no time left’ thing I’ve been hearing recently is hilarious 😂. Any game with a required late onside kick is not particularly close
