A perfect storm yesterday for the Bills D
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we're underestimating how difficult it is to move the ball when backed up to our own goal line because we have been doing it this season. We had terrible starting field position the entire first half -
We got our “ Bad game” out of the way.

I dont think he tensed up at all...he was trying to break a tackle to throw the ball away because he knew the offense likely needed a td to close out the game the way the defense was playing. Taking a sack wouldve put them at a huge disadvantage. You can't blame Josh for a ball going straight through a receivers hands like that either lol -
Milano should have been benched

I'm not convinced lamar and baker could throw the dimes rivers was throwing yesterday though. Dude was on fire dropping balls in between zone coverage...he played a nearly perfect game -
Home town clock operator ?

Probably slows down the pass rush as they don't know how much extra time you're gonna get after the clock hits 0 -

Looks like heinecke got hit pretty late on that screen pass he threw away and they knocked him out of the game -
Pray its the Steelers

The ravens played a college schedule the last three weeks of the season...not to take anything away from them but something to keep in mind. It was like bengals giants jaguars or something like that -
The colts fumble that was not called

Yea maybe its how I saw it in real time lol looked like an obvious fumble to me but im sure I was incredibly biased 🤣 -
The colts fumble that was not called

Controversial is not the word I shouldve used it was an obvious fumble...I think refs try not to effect the games too much down the stretch and it leads to absolute disasters like this and the non pi call in the rams saints game a few years back -
I think we're a little too harsh on ourselves... have we never missed a fg or gotten stuffed on a 4th and goal play? If the Colts were down one score maybe we wouldve been less caught off guard by those big chunk running plays in the fourth quarter that led to the Colts 2 minute touchdown drives...you just never know. Josh allen looked ready for the moment and carried his team to a win thats what we should be celebrating. Thats what a franchise qb does

Once they make that boneheaded call on the field that he was down it kind of becomes controversial as far as the game being decided by refs goes but im right there with ya...looked plenty obvious to me -

I think they didn't want the game to end on a walkoff controversial play like that so they were just banking on the bills holding on to win haha seems crazy but I wouldnt put it past them -
What Did Indy do on D?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea thats been a league wide point of emphasis it seems where they've just stopped calling it in most cases. Looks like we got a crew that was letting them play too which makes it even worse -

How was it a blown fourth down play? Lol they didn't execute. We didn't catch every pass and make every play either We may get more pressure against the ravens though forcing tight ends to stay in and block...every game is not the same...you just can't think of it that way. Rivers changed plays a lot at the line of scrimmage leading to guys getting open...lamar does not do that much -

Poyer LITERALLY let him stand up so he could strip the ball haha absolutely blows my mind they got that call wrong -

Offense played well considering we had terrible field position most of the game...only drive that really sticks out to me was the 2nd and 1 where we called 2 straight runs and couldn't pick it up The Colts offensive line played out of their minds...ours played pretty well in the passing game...they are a better team in the trenches than us and we knew that going in -

You really can't play that game that completely changes the bills playcalling if you're just gonna give the other team points . Maybe if the game is tied the bills march down the field and put the game away -

Yes they really were the nightmare matchup scenario but none of us wanted to believe it...Baltimore doesn't give jackson the freedom to do half of what rivers does at the line of scrimmage and baker is pretty much a one read passer that can get baited into all sorts of mistakes. -

To be fair he is sustaining drives on those exact type of plays...that called draw where he ended up lobbing it to knox was not at all designed lol
