Yea mahomes has had no chance its impossible to evaluate his play

Lol they've gotta protect the chiefs dignity and the sanctity of their precious super bowl at this point 🤣 chiefs defense just wasn't allowed to hold and the bucs jumped on them early and made them one dimensional...you can't ask backup offensive linemen to pass block the bucs front 4 all night

We had no chance at getting home with 4 which was a completely different situation for us compared to what Tampa is doing to them

That game didn't worry me at all long term...our oline couldn't block anyone and the chiefs employed their patented play man coverage and hold everyone defense that they are not getting away with tonight lol josh missed some throws early but he settled down and played quite well given the circumstances

I'm gonna get in trouble for this probably but josh allen looks better to me when everything is breaking down...maybe its because he had his whole first year playing on a team with zero talent to practice 🤣

Haha maybe now that its someone else's team people will see that sometimes hero ball is your only chance to win

They have to max protect for him to get any time so 75% of their offensive playbook is just gone

I think he just had absolutely no confidence we'd convert those 4th downs after we used that nice 4th down play earlier in the game...he had to know our defense wasn't stopping anyone lol

Yea its hard for me to blame him when hes watching his defense get absolutely humiliated knowing he'll have to drop 50+ to win but I think he'll learn. That's what the chiefs do they force you to abandon your game plan with just a barrage of points lol I think Josh got a little too comfortable this season of knowing presnap he's got single coverage and trusting his guys to get open because it has never not worked...until Sunday of course unfortunately haha

Were they? Lol I was there and did not see that outside of several times where he chose a downfield throw into single coverage. They really weren't giving us anything. It looked to me like every time we had a check down getting us modest yardage josh took it but I haven't rewatched the game

Yea that could be true...thats still on us for not taking advantage of that too. Seems like they don't throw flags in the playoffs except for on that horrible flop at the end of the packers game lol

Yea im honestly starting to hope they don't go back to back lol the mahomes ball washing is starting to surpass tom brady levels... every time josh makes some ridiculous play we get to hear 'oh just like Patrick mahomes' when mahomes has receivers running free all game long

I'm still in shock that he wouldn't want mahomes making that throw...maybe he really is a system quarterback after all and they don't want him making the the tough throws 🤣 allen put his team on his back all season making plays like that.

I think mcdermott had zero confidence in us picking up those fourth downs and I dont really blame him...of course there was also zero confidence in us stopping the chiefs offense lol so I can see your point Yes you do lol this is insanity... if the ball hits your receivers hands he has to catch it...chiefs secondary had a heck of a game that was as open as anyone was really getting on most plays. If your qb isn't going to make throws in situations like that you are not going to win period. Most teams don't have the luxury of waiting for receivers to be schemed wide open and the bills absolutely did not have that tonight

Allen made one preposterous play rolling right but it was more in the middle of the field. Chiefs got him on a really nice corner blitz from the side he was rolling too early on I think it was right but im not 100% sure...much like we were doing against lamar. Yea I noticed one where he had beasley and he went for a deep corner route instead thats the only play that stood out to me. Im sure josh was shocked that he was getting the single coverage looks he wanted and nobody could beat their man

Haha mahomes has not thrown a pick on a well thrown ball because its bounced off his receivers hands in his entire career? I'll have to research this 🤣 youre beating up allen for honestly a great throw its so odd to me. A wide open receiver could just as easily tip a ball up in the air and get it picked. The defender that actually made the interception was trailing the play. So you're just never gonna pass because every ball can be picked off at any time? And im supposing you're never gonna run cuz you can fumble the snap lol might as well punt on first down

Thats exactly what it looked like...it was far from just brown and diggs too they took the entire passing game away with press man I did not think they had the personnel for that...that is scary if they can cover that well on a consistent basis i just dont see how they'll ever lose

That was probably pretty close to the most separation our receivers had in man coverage all night lol if you're faulting Allen for making that well thrown pass bevause there was a defender close we wouldve had about 30 yards of offense all night 🤣

I was at the game and thought allen actually played really well after some early jitters considering what he had to work with...maybe things look different on tv idk lol. Mahomes being better overall sure ill concede that point to anybody. Mahomes does nothing tonight under center for the bills...every receiver was locked up all night long and the offensive line was consistently getting steamrolled. You cannot even come close to comparing the two qbs vastly different situations this game. Honestly thank goodness mahomes started Chad henne wouldve lit us up tonight What game were you watching lol ball hit brown's hands and deflected upward and the safety coming in to assist on the tackle that wasn't quite there yet had the ball land in his lap...it was an on the money throw to brown and then brown made an on the money throw right to the chiefs 🤣
