  1. Haha…they also got the gift of getting to play the packers without Aaron Rodgers too
  2. Oh for sure…but the run game won’t be nearly as effective if they try to reasonably mix in the passing game out of different formations. I think his best chance may be doing the same thing twice in a row this time ironically with all those receiver injuries they have lol Yea we did just about everything wrong to start the last game and still almost pulled it out…terrible fumble then gave up a huge rushing TD
  3. I would not feel confident if I was them mostly because of injuries. They really don’t have any healthy receivers and Harris is banged up. They can come out pounding the run with a million offensive linemen again but crossing midfield three times is not gonna do it this time. If both teams are 100% I see this as a coin flip type game and I’d expect us to split with them each season. They got lucky facing the banged up browns and titans and I think this game is gonna be their luck evening out
  4. Are they going to roll with 6 olinemen plus a tight end blocking like last time? They won’t really be a threat to pass with all those injuries out of that formation. I don’t want to jinx it but I think the pats are in a lot of trouble
  5. Agholor in concussion protocol also…They got beat up pretty badly last week idk too many guys they’ve got that can hurt us in single coverage. Hunter Henry maybe I think meyers is hurt also but im having trouble finding an injury report for them.
  6. To play devils advocate do we know Brady didn’t curse him out before he walked onto the field ? I couldn’t really tell from the video
  7. Carolina has a great defense too so that is encouraging. Unfortunately we had to match up with the pats defense and the wind in that last game against them in the red zone. Gotta think he hits that back shoulder throw to diggs for the TD to win the game like 80% of the time. I think that was on the second to last red zone drive
  8. Immediately followed by a run creating 2nd and goal from the 9 lol
  9. This whole narrative that they rebuilt their team in a year and will keep getting better is a little ridiculous…they had a good team last year too they just needed a qb that was a little more consistent. They were playing at their ceiling before the colts game imo
  10. They aren’t a top tier team by any stretch of the imagination…both teams are playing like fringe playoff teams and we have a much higher ceiling if we put it all together. They’ve gotten very lucky with Covid/injuries to opponents and it sounds like their luck could be running out this weekend…they could be missing a bunch of skill position guys
  11. But bill belichick is gonna be more mad that McDermott said he didn’t do anything special 😂😂 I think bill would be the first one to tell you he didn’t do anything special lol this stuff is ten times as infuriating as that. Also they seem to not have a great grasp on simple math over there. I’m almost sure anyone making that claim after that game had no idea how tiebreakers work. If they didn’t lose to Miami week 1 it would be a much different story..we have a built in half game lead on them essentially
  12. That did seem like a well struck kick too…I was surprised it missed
  13. Did you factor in rushing yards/tds? That’s a good point I didn’t realize that would close the gap that much. If we go on to win the division it would be hard to make a case against him
  14. Yep I was screaming at my tv not realizing that was a thing haha that was standing if it had to get automatic challenged
  15. I was thinking more of Brady than Rodgers. Rodgers probably gets dinged points for missing that one game especially because of the way it happened lol
  16. He’d be unstoppable…there’s really no answer when a team is getting home with 4 pass rushers consistently…it is crazy that he’s still been successful this year despite that being the case pretty much every week. It feels like we’ve run the gauntlet of scary front sevens this season also…even the bad opponents we’ve played like Washington and Carolina and the saints missing their whole offense
  17. I’m gonna elaborate on this because I got an eye roll 😂 pats are unquestionably significantly better than the panthers overall but a qb that can run hard between the tackles should be an absolute disaster for us matchup wise. In a lot of ways I’m happy the pats moved on from cam despite mac jones being a much better passer
  18. Totally agree I think they were betting on one of their dline picks developing into a home run and it just hasn’t worked out that way. Offensive line should definitely be better than what we’re seeing but yea you’re right they were never gonna be good even in ideal circumstances. They def kind of alienated josh to spend capital on the dline…figured he’s got the physical ability to make it work if his oline was just decent but they’ve been much worse than decent lol dline is ahead of last year but they’re certainly not getting the returns on all they invested into it
  19. He’s doing a great job with a mountain of injuries overall but yea those were two head scratchers
  20. Lol I swear if we weren’t missing two guys on the offensive line seeming every game our offensive line would be slightly below average rather than horrible 😂 dline is an odd situation we don’t have any standouts but we have good depth so we end up starting to win some of the trench battle late in the game when the opposing offensive line starts to gas
  21. If the stats were somewhat comparable josh would have a good chance but he’s got so many factors out of his control working against him this year with the weather and terrible offensive line and whatnot. I have no doubt replacing josh with a JAG at qb would be way more devastating to the bills than doing the same for any other player on any team would be
  22. Yea by definition he’s the mvp without question but it’s a stats first award so he has no chance
  23. Giants offense reminds me of what we’d be if we had a mediocre qb instead of josh Allen and it is frightening lol their oline is just about as bad as ours and they’ve definitely got offensive weapons they just can’t get them the ball.
  24. Can’t really play this game…if they put up more points kicking the football then our offensive playcalling likely becomes more aggressive for a longer period of time…the only time the ‘what if’ game really works is when your receiver gets tackled in the end zone to close out a game and it costs you 4 points 😂
  25. belichick taught him how to smash communication devices very well it seems
