  1. Trouble is a relative term…that bye is gonna be massive especially with Covid going off again. I’m with you though kc has never really looked bad as a team to me they just had some tough matchups early in the season…mahomes hasn’t looked sharp at times but their defense has bailed them out…also kc plays some afc wildcard hopefuls that they could knock out for us so the trouble may have been referring to us 😂
  2. I was just messing with ya that’s not a bad idea lol
  3. Oh yea this is in the context of you’re missing two of your top three receivers also…pats are in the same boat and who else do they have? McKenzie can be a difference maker in more than just the passing game
  4. Loll get TO out of retirement
  5. Yea I think the pats rushing yardage totals were more personally embarrassing than strategically relevant if that makes any sense lol they only crossed midfield three times and we had plenty of opportunities on offense to win that game They did it without a qb but out of personnel groupings where it wouldn’t much have mattered if they had a great qb back there…they can’t really run the same sets and threaten pass in this matchup. So it’s not like we have to worry about the same amount of potent rushing and a high flyin passing offense in the way some people are saying. They’ll be more balanced but not as effective running the football id assume
  6. It’s happening to the pats too for the record…I think they’ve got a few guys on the Covid list
  7. Diggs,Davis,McKenzie, kumerow who’s gotten playing time at wr in the past. How is that only 2? Most teams would be pretty much cooked with two wr injuries
  8. I think he was being sarcastic but it’s still incorrect haha you could get a long term case and miss more than one game while vaccinated id assume
  9. This is happening league wide but we only frequent the bills board 😂
  10. Not having a ‘true’ number 2 but having a lot of depth in the wr room could def pay off
  11. This is what I get for proclaiming we had a big edge due to the pats injury situation lol
  12. Right there’s definitely a huge different in strains too and idk if there’s a test to tell you which strain you have. Delta could still be absolutely nasty but omicron is sounding very mild but very contagious so far. A majority of the vaxxed players are gonna get hit with omicron probably…I’m sure most of our team has it if cole does it just comes down to who they randomly test
  13. Right…doesn’t help the team though cuz he’s out a minimum of 10 days. The part I don’t get is if you’re vaccinated and get two negative tests you can come back sooner…but won’t the covid test say you’re positive for 90 days after you’ve had it? Are there that many false positives that the vaccinated people are getting subjected to for that rule change to matter? Maybe the players are taking different tests than us plebs though lol but I’ve heard you will test positive for Covid long after you stop showing symptoms
  14. Did he say being young and healthy would stop him from getting it or help him fight it off? Omicron is gonna give ammo to both sides of the vax debate because tons of vaccinated people I know are getting it…some with boosters even
  15. The nfl is gonna nfl and they will be more lenient with testing requirements essentially turning a blind eye to the whole thing I bet 😂 sounds like that has already started. Some Red Sox player with no reason to lie about this accused the mlb of something similar and nothing every came of it. Half of this board probably has omicron right now and doesn’t even know myself included lol
  16. Still ahead of the pats injury/Covid situation at the moment at least…but that could definitely change in a hurry. A lot of this is gonna come down to how they choose to randomly test people because a majority of the omicron cases are asymptomatic or very mild. And I don’t trust the nfl with anything 😂
  17. Lol well he’s out 10 days minimum…any news on sanders coming back? Not to defend Beasley too much but I think most of the nfl is getting omicron in the next 3 weeks vaccinated or not.
  18. It’s comical that was their only completion that game haha. They also tried another throw late that preserved a bunch of time for us. But bill belichick was supposedly the best coach of all time that game if you ask anyone from the greater Boston area 😂 does anyone know how much input bill has on the offense anyway? Or does he let mcdaniels do his thing Anecdotally I foolishly went to a concert in NYC recently and people are posting on Reddit about how they are double/triple vaxxed with Pfizer/Moderna and masked the whole show and still got it. So I’m not sure how effective the vaccines are at stopping this new strain. We also don’t know what strain feliciano has either though
  19. Pre omicron I knew about 2 people that got it in that two year span and it is just absolutely going off this time They might have to bubble the playoffs or delay the playoffs a little bit which I’m not sure if they’ll do…we should be asterisk free though 😂 Yea omicron seems like it’s actually a silver lining in this whole Covid situation…sounds like it’s much more mild symptoms wise and it’s gonna become the dominant strain since it’s so contagious and kill off the others. Could definitely throw the nfl season for a loop though unfortunately
  20. We would need a ton of help for that to happen…they are still in decent shape even losing to us and Miami
  21. I live pretty close to nyc so I definitely realize what is coming 😂 like half the people I know have it right now and the other half will get it soon lol the omicron symptoms are so mild that nobody even knows they have it so it’s gonna spread like wildfire
  22. Haha…they also got the gift of getting to play the packers without Aaron Rodgers too
  23. Oh for sure…but the run game won’t be nearly as effective if they try to reasonably mix in the passing game out of different formations. I think his best chance may be doing the same thing twice in a row this time ironically with all those receiver injuries they have lol Yea we did just about everything wrong to start the last game and still almost pulled it out…terrible fumble then gave up a huge rushing TD
  24. I would not feel confident if I was them mostly because of injuries. They really don’t have any healthy receivers and Harris is banged up. They can come out pounding the run with a million offensive linemen again but crossing midfield three times is not gonna do it this time. If both teams are 100% I see this as a coin flip type game and I’d expect us to split with them each season. They got lucky facing the banged up browns and titans and I think this game is gonna be their luck evening out
  25. Are they going to roll with 6 olinemen plus a tight end blocking like last time? They won’t really be a threat to pass with all those injuries out of that formation. I don’t want to jinx it but I think the pats are in a lot of trouble
