Yea seriously…also CMC is just so much better at the things we have been asking our rbs to do…a rb doesn’t just have to stuff a run between the tackles to be effective he can still considerably help the team even though our run blocking hasn’t been good

Suddenly some of these players that we thought we would have to extend aren’t looking like as much of a requirement with all these guys filling in and playing pretty well. I’d go cmc over Odell…in a weird hypothetical scenario where I was forced to choose one of course lol if we traded for von midseason we would’ve given up some resources but we probably would’ve won the Super Bowl last season so it’s worth considering

Your evaluation of HFA ignores the point that the opposing team could be more significantly impacted by wind/weather than ours since our qb has a big arm that can throw tight spirals. Not that it would’ve changed much lol but we had a massive HFA yesterday imo. Sure it hurts our offense but if it hurts the other offense more that definitely qualifies as an advantage

I think we are big time underrating how good the Steelers wide receivers are. Probably the third best group of wrs we’ll see this year…and the bengals I’m honestly not even worried about because they insist on calling passing plays with so many deep routes all game long

The scheduling is wonky…in those ‘afc east vs afc west team that finished in the same position of their division’ games one team is home two years in a row before it switches to the other team. then you have the ‘afc east vs whole afc west’ season every 4 years where the home team swaps back and forth each meeting. We were home against kc last time we played the whole afc west so we will be on the road again next year but then we will be home 3 meetings in a row after that against kc(assuming both teams finish in the same position)

I can’t believe how badly they blew the commentary on that Steelers receiver who got a foot and a hand in bounds and was ruled out.

I don’t think the home team really gets that many points anymore…it’s closer to 1 1/2 now i have no problem with the chiefs being a slight favorite though
