Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score

The way some of these losses have happened though this season points more to that statistic is going to even out imo Dawkins is back…offensive line is much less ramshackle than last week. Call me crazy I just don’t see the pats taking two against us I think this was always going to be a split. We’re +1.5 on the road the betting public doesn’t see the pats as this powerhouse team that most on here do -

No idea why people are sleeping on them lol +1.5 on the road against supposedly the best team in the afc…seems like maybe Vegas isn’t sure about that first game in the wind storm either -

I don’t personally see it that way…TB game was stolen from us imo. We’re 9-5 with wins over the two front runners for the superbowl on the road in my book that nobody cares about 😂 -

I don’t see that as a wash at all…josh has the arm talent to make pretty much any receiver look good and mac very much does not. Nfl won’t test josh they ‘randomly’ choose vaccinated players to test and they want to keep makin that $$$ so it won’t hit too many big name vaccinated qbs imo How…10-7 more than likely gets us in if we lose -
Bills Covid List: Players and coaches
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I asked this in another thread and apparently there’s some threshold number that comes back with your test and if you are under that amount the nfl considers the test negative Great luck with what random vaccinated players the nfl decides to test lol I think everyone is getting this one…if one guy on the team has it most of the team probably does. They really should come out and say ‘we’re only focusing on symptomatic cases’ or postpone this season honestly this whole singling out random people system doesn’t make any sense -
Everyone has huge holes this season because of the salary cap reduction.
-
It’s more about coaching/player development than anything. The good staffs are consistently signing average players for cheap and getting a lot out of them. The pats talk is kind of nonsense…they were a qb away last year it wasn’t even close to a rebuild situation but the national media is trying to sell it as belichick turned the whole roster over in one offseason lol
-
What happens if we don’t get the home game…do you get a refund or lose the money?
-
We have a lot of expendable assets on the defensive line and I’m sure josh would restructure at different times to win…as long as josh is here we have a chance to win imo. Our offensive line is playing like a bunch of guys making league minimum and he has still been successful. He also seems like he gets the best out of every receiver that joins the team which is something you want your max contract type guy to do. I don’t give sports writers any credit for comments like this…it’s not exactly a bold statement to say a team isn’t gonna win a Super Bowl over a short term period of time 😂

The Bills have been multiple teams' "Superbowl"
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
We unfortunately got the full strength bucs for 60 minutes and their whole offense went down early against the saints…I think that’s what it came down to -

I don’t even mean to disrespect the pats with this but they are tremendously overrated this season through no fault of their own. They’re definitely a good team that’s never gonna beat themselves but people are talking like we’re facing the afc all star team. I think all the nfl talking heads were pulling so hard for that bucs pats super bowl that they drowned in their own koolaid lol maybe things will settle down now that the bucs clearly look inferior to the packers -

You’ve been hanging around us too long 😂 that’s a classic bills fan move ‘if it wasn’t for this one 99 yd carry every week our rush defense would be pretty good’ haha I agree though I think they didn’t trust josh enough to throw in the elements last game and trying to pound the run is mostly what did us in -
To be fair they were stealing all our defensive signals for 75% of that time 😂
-
He’s definitely going to but I doubt they’ll keep as many guys in blocking because they want mac to have some additional passing targets to threaten pass a little more. It was just as much the scheme they ran that led to the rushing totals last time as it was they outmuscled us…perhaps even more so. They are not a top tier rushing team in my opinion. They could roll with the same game plan as last time but I don’t think they’ll score enough points to win that way in better weather

Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
His record off of losses is quite skewed based on how good the Brady pats were…I mean what are the odds a team winning 11 games or more every single year loses two in a row? Not very likely. Also if we have a game in a national window we are likely playing an excellent team…so both points are statistically skewed. Not to take anything away from what they’ve done this season but this pats team just isn’t a top tier team. I don’t mean that to say we’re better necessarily but using belichicks historical win/loss numbers is kind of irrelevant. Still waiting for someone to explain what is soft about our team 😂 I’m just not on the same page with the whole ‘if you can’t run the ball specifically with a rb you are soft’ there are lots of ways to mimic the run game. -

Have you checked on the pats injury/Covid situation at all? I just don’t think they have the weapons to beat us. -
Yea def goes back to a coin flip type game if that happens…although brown has extra time to prepare for LT at least. Maybe they threw him in at LT last week in preparation for this game. I could see either team scoring 0 with the injury situations we both have and I have no idea what’s gonna happen lol assuming we don’t get Dawkins back

Totally agreed…they don’t really have a target that demands double teams to begin with and now we’re subtracting Bourne and maybe agholor? Their best chance of success honestly might be to run the same offense as last time lol also Harris has a hamstring issue but I think he can play -
Week 16: Bills at Pats - DISCUSSION
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s more complicated than that though…they were one dimensional in a very specific way. You can’t just add the threat of the passing game on top of what they did last time and say they’re going to run it even better. They were more or less running a goal line offense all game and hoping to break one big run and that that would be enough. If they’re going to be more balanced this game they will drastically mix up the formations and who knows what will happen. If they’re rolling with less offensive linemen most plays and we can moderately defend the run out of the nickel they are in a lot of trouble…that’s a big if though. X’s and O’s wise with the injuries they have I just cannot see them beating us as long as Dawkins plays. But I thought we’d win last time too so what do I know 😂 -
I think the rotation is helping a lot late in games but is it worth it? I have no idea lol we’ve had a few games where our defense was on the field nonstop without much of a dip in quality Could be part of it…I’m sure moving a guy from RT to LT like two days before the game wasn’t a great situation either
-
And the Steelers defense at full strength 😂 In the games where we faced backup qbs the backups weren’t far behind their starting counterparts lol kind of a mixed bag though we got kc without chris jones and NO missing a bunch of offensive players
