We have stuffed so many 4th and short plays this year it feels like to me which is a similar situation. Can’t imagine our starters would be that bad in a 2 point situation.

He’s looked fast all year…gets run past the pocket some plays which seems to be all anybody notices but his success rate has been really good

Probably will after this drive if they score

Looked like the defender was right there on that play waiting to break on the ball. When Ty just comes into frame he looks open but the defender pops in quick

They’ve been pretty good recently they just do the little dumb things that lose you close games. Davante had a 200+ yard game a week or two ago

Catch rate is pretty important for slot receivers imo…a lot of their catches are really hard fought drive saving third down conversions. Not trying to say Shakir is better or not but to downplay his catch rate is a little too strong in the opposite direction 🤣

Reid tried to throw on a 4th and 2 and basically torpedoed his teams chances of beating the raiders but he got bailed out by a fumbled snap and they blocked a chip shot fg that saved them the broncos game. They got some straight up dumb luck in close games and we got beat by a fairbairn 59 yarder…sh*t happens later in the year fairbairn blew a 28 yarder against the titans that cost his team the game I can see the debate on the Texans game playcalling, Samuel was wide open to prevent a punt that likely would’ve set the Texans up in immediate fg range and Josh missed the throw though to be fair. That wasn’t ALL on coaching imo. accepting that 3rd and 7 penalty in fringe fg range against the rams I 100% agree with mcd on.

It was a great day for us if your main concern is cincy in the playoffs lol. Kc will be resting starters against Denver now which makes it nearly impossible for cincy to get in. they’d need Denver to lose out which seemed likely if the chiefs had something to play for (they no longer do), Indy to lose out against a cupcake schedule, and Miami to lose out against a very easy schedule even if the bengals beat Denver this week

Idk how the owner could force anyone in the organization to do it haha they will all be gone next year

PFF is horrendous at evaluating linebackers I feel like lol Dodson graded out as the best LB in the league last year Bernard may have taken a small step back but it’s not as bad as the pff ratings are trying to make it look imo the line isn’t really the same as last year, Daquan isn’t the same player this year

I wouldn’t say Lamar isn’t pushing for it lol he’s still considerably behind though. If he wasn’t playing well it would’ve been locked up for Josh after the lions win with zero paths for Lamar to win it

If it’s average and the bills win still josh is very likely going to get it still. Everyone that thinks the sky is falling needs to make a huge cash withdrawal and bet Lamar +350 right now haha you can all retire early If the bills drop two and the ravens grab the 2 seed Lamars got a very good chance but that is very unlikely
