  1. I mean it depends on how you’re quantifying a good run defense play. But even so the point remains…why are we trying to rewrite history on the 4th down stops when we aren’t taking that line of thinking with something that was much more likely to go the other way like the doubs td catch. 9 times out of 10 he doesn’t make that catch and the packers are left with a 3rd and 12 there on their way to a 3 point first half
  2. Gb was hoping they’d catch us stacking the box to stop the run in the second half and it just didn’t happen. Thank goodness fans don’t call the plays. I’m not sure how much of it was on lafleur and how much was rodgers audibling into run plays but this was a mess of a game plan on their part. Especially given that doubs made some clutch receptions every chance he got. they were down 3 scores and their first two possessions in the second half took over 11 minutes and netted 3 points. Our offense had one of the worst halves I’ve seen in two years and we still crushed them
  3. If the 4th and shorts had gone differently lol on the obvious running downs we made all the plays we needed to and we’re just gonna completely discount that?
  4. This take is genuinely insane to me…the packers have some tough runners and there was no reason to get out of nickel coverage in the second half up three scores. It’s really not a mystery what happened people are saying ‘if tonyan doesn’t get hit with that opi it’s a different game’ which is massively contradictory….yea of course giving up a long passing td would change the game that’s why we stayed in nickel coverage most of the game 😂. Our offense was poop the whole second half and we still won comfortably….if gb knew we’d have trouble on the offensive side the entire second half their gameplan on offense would’ve completely changed.
  5. That won’t happen in a close game…It really seemed like to me that they tried to rein in his scrambling with a big lead and it messed with his rhythm …int 1 he could’ve easily ran for a first down. int 2 looked like a throwaway and jaire Alexander made a great play. I wouldn’t expect josh to make a habit of either of those things normally when a play breaks down josh tries to make something happen with his legs if nothing is open downfield. This game he took some risks with his arm trying to go for the knockout punch
  6. Is there a recency bias in football games or something…they were nearly perfect in the first half which gave them plenty of margin of error.
  7. It also excludes the bills being through the meat of their schedule this year…we have some blowouts of bad teams incoming.
  8. On the other side of that coin, you do not know what would’ve happened if the bills stacked the box in the second half. There was no reason to load up against the run up three scores there really was no ‘luxury’ needed…it was clear the packers were gonna run out of time to come back from their first drive in the second half
  9. Cook averaged 7 ypc tonight…that’s pretty darn good
  10. No? 😂 people were complaining about us letting the packers run out the clock on themselves lol massive overreactions all around….the game was over at halftime and we played like it in the second half. I don’t see that happening again and you’ve got people in that thread saying we’re not a superbowl contender because we only won by 10 🤣
  11. There had to be a huge miscommunication on that second pick…it’ll be interesting to hear him explain that one
  12. Easily the most dramatic gameday thread I’ve ever been in in my life…the game was never close
  13. Points the same he did miss the throw…but the play would not have counted regardless
  14. I really think they told him to avoid takin any unnecessary shots with a lead and it’s gotten into his head
  15. The ol fake injury to stop the clock
  16. Just maybe they got complacent with a huge lead? Lol easily the most obvious cause. I doubt he throws those two ints in a close game…especially the first one. He clearly passed up an easy first down run to avoid the packers d getting free shots at him
  17. He let go quick they don’t normally call those
  18. We were losing yards on every single run in the second half
  19. It’s hard to even blame that because the first half was great
  20. You could’ve called a hold on literally anyone on gb that play
  21. Gabe was terrible tonight…he had an enormous size advantage on that goal line play too…probably cost us a decent chunk of points
  22. I’d have to see it again but he might’ve been expecting one of his receivers to go low on that one and it just didn’t happen…that’s a fairly popular red zone option
  23. I liked the pass call to Davis the play before that…he has to win that matchup. 3rd down play was ugly though
  24. Gabe havin a tough night….that’s a one on one matchup he has to win
  25. Cocky? Lol josh passed up an easy run for the first there because he didn’t want to take an unnecessary hit with a big lead
