  1. Tua is a college qb…he’s a one read guy that’s just throwing to a spot on the field. Been sayin it for weeks now. Dolphins gonna try to upgrade at qb im guessing but they don’t have a lot of resources
  2. The players liked Rex Ryan 😂 Mcdaniel has been a good offensive coach for the phins. He seems to have run a talented defense straight into the ground though. Not sure if it’s his DC or what but if they aren’t lights out in the red zone on offense they’re gonna struggle. Tuas got nearly 300 yards at half time and GB is in the game still.
  3. Seems like the dolphins offensive concepts only work in space and with how potent their offense is in between the 20s, they really struggle in the red zone. The chiefs have as much speed and even less skill position talent and they seem way better in the red zone
  4. Idk I think the results to this one are pretty important imo…played the number 1 rushing offense in a bad weather game and ran them out of the building. josh will be fine but the rush defense/tackling has been a little shaky so that was good to see
  5. The goalpost moves by some of the negative posters always makes me chuckle…all week it was ‘we can’t run or stop the run, fields is great this is a trap game’ and we blow them out but it’s still not good enough lol seems like some people would’ve preferred if josh went off but we won a close one which makes no sense to me
  6. People will one day learn that the weather hurts both teams but almost always the team without josh Allen more lol it’s not gonna be pretty on a windy day with wind chills below zero usually. There’s a lot of positives to take out of today too
  7. Oh yea I agree with all that…I was just trying to say that it’s likely going to sort itself out down the stretch. Last year played out pretty similarly where the offensive line was brutal for a big part of the regular season. I think josh has been in the worst situation compared to the rest of the elite qbs this season
  8. I think it’s a bit disingenuous to pin it all on ‘josh just wants to hit big plays’. When you’re getting holding calls against your offensive line consistently throughout the game, sustaining long drives becomes very difficult. When the offensive line pass blocks well, he hits all the throws. It seems like the big mistakes he’s made this year have pretty much immediately followed a holding call if the pass blocking improves I think a lot of the issues fix themselves…of course that’s a big if though 😂
  9. I find it difficult saying Chicago did a good job when they sold out in pass coverage and got absolutely steamrolled on the ground. I know they’re not a good team but 250+ rushing yards allowed is straight up embarrassing. Your gameplan is broken if youre giving up 200+ rushing yards especially in a windy/freezing cold game. They should’ve been loading up against the run
  10. I still don’t really buy this…you put a great team in terrible weather and they don’t look as good…that’s the way it works. That weather should’ve leveled the playing field for the bears a bit but they got run out of the building. If we were playing a good team in this they would’ve looked sloppy also most likely.
  11. We score more points, allow less points, gain more yards per game, allow less yards per game. I don’t find this line surprising
  12. I think most teams do that trying not to run it up actually…we just happened to end up scoring the td. Fg in that spot feels worse somehow
  13. People have been overreacting to giving up a score early on the scripted drive for years lol
  14. I peeked for a little while running errands and everyone wanted Frazier fired after that first touchdown drive 😂. Bears offense didn’t do much of anything after that it seems but I’ve gotta watch the game still
  15. This is why I just can’t get behind the mvp award…seems like it’s just a stats sheet award that goes to the qb with the best numbers on paper
  16. I made that sock mistake in the bills pats playoff game last year lol never again. All the other layering stuff ain’t bad but footwear gets tricky because that concrete gets soooo cold
  17. I think a lot of it is a work ethic and drive to better themselves issue with a lot of these qb busts. They’ve all got nfl talent level physical skills so it’s really the willingness to put in the extra work in film study and whatnot that ends up making the difference. Some guys seem way more willing to do that than others. for some it seems they’ve played football their whole life and finally got payed so they take their foot off the gas a little. That all ties into why josh Allen was so liked in the bills locker room
  18. Josh Rosen had 0 help so I’d lean Zach Wilson as bigger bust. The 2022 jets is one of the best situations a top 10 pick qb has gotten a chance to play on.
  19. Crazy our offensive line was decimated for most of both Miami games. I don’t think the heat would’ve mattered if we had some of our olinemen available in the first matchup
  20. I think we have strategically stayed in nickel a few games when teams were running on us and I def wouldn’t say we’re bad overall against the run yet. Back in the first jets game days we were missing one of Milano/edmunds (can’t remember which) and we’d have to sub taron Johnson out to have two pretty bad linebackers on the field at the same time. against Miami you’ve gotta respect tyreek/waddle which I’m sure kept us in the nickel. There’s a pretty interesting connection between the jets/dolphins/packers coaching wise…maybe this is a bit conspiracy theory but I think those three teams’ offensive coordinators talked when working on their own game plans lol. The jets OC is Matt lafleur’s brother and Mike McDaniel is good friends with Matt Lafleur also.
  21. Idk why he’s reading so much into time of possession when we scored plenty and extremely quickly. Also if we’re playing the ‘what should have happened’ game they were gifted a td drive on an absurdly unnecessary roughing the punter penalty
  22. My dream of the dolphins missing the playoffs after all that hype they got took a hit today 😂. On the flip side if they miss still they are way into historically epic collapse territory lol they’d have to finish with 5 losses out of 6 probably
  23. It’s all injuries vs the dolphins. That defense is garbage. They would’ve gotten torched both games if we weren’t forced to play van roten at center for 4 of the 8 quarters against them. It easily could’ve gone the other other way and been a buffalo blowout 😂
  24. Oh yea they were both bad mistakes…but I’d take a bad throw over a big time mental error personally though. Davis had a step and Harrison smith got pulled by the inside route so there was a ton of room to get the ball for a td or at the very worst an incompletion. it really wasn’t a bad read by any means. Also Allen hit knox on a perfect pass the previous play that he certainly could’ve made a play on. I think josh gets SOME goodwill back for the fg drive to tie it up late too (despite gabe getting away with that drop) idk I’m not that high on that mahomes play. He sees the route isn’t there and double pumps the ball and the pressure is coming so he’s like ehhh let’s just throw it anyway. It wasn’t like taron jumped the route out of nowhere, mahomes completely telegraphed it. If pressure is an excuse for bad qb play then josh gets way more points added than mahomes because our offensive line is poop 😂 certainly not trying to minimize Josh’s mistakes…he made too many in that second half. But mahomes blew that bills game every bit as much as Allen blew the Vikings game imo
  25. Looked like oliver and Milano were playing hurt also…Miami has really benefitted from buffalo injuries this year. Idk how they can allow an 8 point comeback to a team with van roten playing center lol
