It's Miami Week...Squish The Fish!!!!!
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
We really evened out the schedule disparity against us and Miami early on. We’ve only got one non afc north/nfc north game to go and we’ve got a decent chance to go 3-0 in those games. I think Miami has got the harder schedule going forward Their offensive line doesn’t seem any better this year…they have some big time weak links there especially now with Austin Jackson on IR. Unfortunately Kyle Hamilton kept rushing the passer when he was only supposed to simulate pressure and drop out so tyreek hill was wide open pretty much instantly on a lot of plays last week. The corner kept thinking he had safety help and handing him off to a safety that just wasn’t there. Tua made some great plays that were well covered in that game but a big chunk of his stats were peewee football level communication mistakes by the ravens secondary that’s pretty much the exact game you’d want tua to have the week before playing us…he’s gonna consistently look to tyreek to bail him out when the pocket is collapsing next week because it worked for him this week and he will be consistently double covered the ravens actually did a good job shutting down the screens and quick passes to the outside which was putting the dolphins in a lot of third and long situations the whole first half and tua looked like the tua we always see. They fell apart when Humphrey went down in the second half though. -
The titans front 7 was dominating…which is getting overlooked because they lost by 34 lol we were 9/10 on third down week 1 we are going to be fine
-
Right but they won quite a few other superbowls during Brady’s tenure though lol on an individual season basis winning the superbowl is a very tough task even for the obvious best team in the league. A single game elimination playoff format is so high variance and you need some good fortune (see the David tyree helmet catch)
-
Yea people overlook this far too often…football is such a high variance sport with its single game elimination playoff format that if you’re looking on an individual season basis the best team doesn’t always win the Super Bowl. That certainly doesn’t take away from how good the team was…it takes a bit of luck to win the Super Bowl

Stadium Renderings are here!!!

Very close to seeing stadium renderings live in 3 years 🤣 -
Miami has the worst offensive line of those three teams…will that game not count also if our defense looks good? We are likely going to pressure them pretty heavily without blitzing…NE really got after them and likely wins that game if the pats offense didn’t make so many mistakes Miami scored one offensive TD that game and it was poor tackling on a 4th and 6 before the half the KC offensive line is infinitely better, people are talkin like adding tyreek has turned the dolphins into the 2020s Kansas City chiefs
-
For all the Miami doomers that show up in our game day threads worried about how the dolphins schedule is easier, we have just one non nfc north non afc north division winner to go (aka games not in common with Miami) and we are going at worst 2-1 in those games. Miami has yet to play one of those games and they’ve got the chargers who looked arguably better than kc last week and SF who got a huge qb upgrade Sunday. Houston should be a relatively easy win for them Id say from this point on Miami has the more difficult schedule

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I still have this feeling that Lamar ends up in Miami…tua is gonna be pretty good at worst but imagine that offense with Lamar. if you swapped the qbs Sunday Lamar drops 60+ on that ravens defense. Tua was pretty average in the first half -
That front 7 alone is gonna win them some games against average teams…they just straight up blew the giants game. I bet they win the division still. Certainly not looking like the dominant team they were last year though this has been a funny season so far…all these shocking qb moves to the afc have just not panned out so far. Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan are looking pretty washed up. That ‘revamped’ bengals oline is looking worse than last year. Shouldn’t be too difficult for an 0-2 team to get themselves back in the conversation
-
Quite a few of them were stingers so they’re weren’t all serious. it’s a longgg season I don’t believe the game next week is going to decide anything outright seeing as we’ve got the matchup in buffalo later in the season

Tonight won’t get it done

It’s kind of give and take…it ended up being the right call because we ended up absolutely stomping them but you’ve gotta think Allen converts some of those 3rd and shorts with his legs -

They will be more consistent than the chiefs with the beefed up dline. We hung our dbs out to try a bit last year and had to rely on josh to score loads of points which is not always reliable. titans may not be a great team but they should not be a great matchup for us because their front 7 can completely take away our running game and make us one dimensional. we protected the football and absolutely smoked them though.
