  1. Disagree but I will watch it again because I am disagreeing based on memory 😃the way I remember it is Williams engaged the defender about a yard from the line of scrimmage and walked him all the way downfield towards the end zone and was still pass blocking when the ball was released…not his fault he’s winning his block so emphatically . Bill being the savvy coach he is maybe coaches his players to try to look like they disengage late and there’s an offensive lineman way downfield that shouldn’t be there which is probably what the refs saw but that’s not at all how I saw it at the time. I think you’re falling for some bill belichick ‘gamesmanship’ lol maybe I’m wrong though the one in the first game looked pretty obvious
  2. I kind of blame them still 😂 you really can’t play the ‘if only we didn’t drop that interception’ game when the other team had running backs falling down at the goal line and several dropped TDs lol if we’re playing the could’ve should’ve would’ve game and we give both teams some drops we easily win that game by more
  3. Looked like he was engaged in a block the whole time to me which would make it the wrong call
  4. I don’t think people realize how many huge plays we are converting on due to these supposed ‘forced’ throws. I think 75% of the passes we’ve completed this season are balls that ‘should’ have been thrown away lol we picked up two huge first downs against the pats with josh rolling right and throwing across his body to the middle of the field which you’re never supposed to do…there are hundreds of examples of these types of plays going well/helping us win games especially this season where we could not pass block to save our life most of the year
  5. Davis was wide open on a post on that third pick. It also looked like Beasley quit on the route on the second pick because he thought he got held. Not to mention a lot of the incomplete passes were throwaways. He was pushing a lot of the right buttons it just seemed like we were getting unlucky. I think pretty much every qb will make a few throws a game that either get tipped or should be picks that the defense ends up dropping and the falcons made all those plays this time out Struggled to win? Every one of our wins has been by two plus scores all season long lol this whole ‘omg the game is close for 2 minutes clearly our season is over’ kind of thinking is spiraling out of control this season.
  6. It’s borderline criminal how few plays they have made for josh this year. Seems like we drop every 50/50 type ball.
  7. Stats maybe…eye test I disagree. Dude had all day to throw most of last season and in the games he didn’t he did not look very good. He showed up in all the huge games this year and we really are 2-0 against last years superbowl teams both on the road. Not to mention it feels like we’ve had three times as many bad weather games this year Right I wouldn’t disagree but that certainly happened numerous times last season…he looked completely lost against TEN and KC in back to back weeks. Last season our defense was worse and I can’t recall josh getting pulled in the 4th quarter too often too so there was much less stat padding in garbage time this year
  8. That sack number is mind blowing…our pass blocking has gotten better in recent weeks but it overall has been absolutely dreadful this season I don’t think last years performance is even close to as good as this years honestly lol think about how bad he looked last year when teams could pressure him with 4 guys and drop 7 in coverage…he faced that just about every week this year with how bad our offensive line was. Only loss that really felt like he could be the X factor and wasn’t to me was the jags game. That was the worst performance by an offensive line I’ve ever seen but if he protected the ball a little better we could’ve pulled that out 12-9. I think there’s a handful of guys that could’ve had the season josh had last year with our weapons on offense and pretty good pass blocking but I don’t think there’s one other that can do what he did this year
  9. People are blaming dropped picks? Lol we had kumerow starting because of Covid issues to other guys and he dropped a sure TD. Give them a dropped pick or two and give us two dropped TDs in the end zone and we still come out ahead.
  10. I don’t mean to say this will happen again but I don’t think the second matchup could’ve gone either way respectfully. Pats were honestly very lucky to not lose that game by 30+…I’ve never seen a team leave so many easy points on the field and still win comfortably like the bills did that game. Couple that with the pats being 5/5 when it mattered on 4th down. Couple bad calls both ways but bills had that ridiculous ineligible man downfield penalty negate 7 points then Zach moss tackled himself on the goal line costing us 7 points then two wide open dropped tds. Felt pretty similar to the wind game in that we just didn’t execute as well as we could but the bills were so firmly in control of that game that it didn’t much matter.
  11. I meant weather specifically not really home vs road. seemed like the pats got spooked after the first drive in the rematch and went back to a gameplan that was very similar to the wind game and they more or less stuck with it despite it really limiting their chances of getting back into the game. Tons of extra linemen in and misdirection type runs. I really don’t know what team people are seeing that say the bills can’t run the football lol they are 6th in the league in rushing yards per game and singletary is 12th in the league in ypc.
  12. He got unlucky in the falcons game from what I saw…still made a ton of great plays with his arm and legs but on paper those 3 picks look bad. Every qb has a handful of balls batted each game that always seem to fall incomplete but the falcons just happened to have two fall right into their lap. That second pick looked like Beasley could’ve come down with it or at least knocked it away but he quit on the route. Didn’t mind that one much cuz it shows josh is throwing with anticipation at least…Beasley got held though which threw the timing off and then he just gave up
  13. Patriots even with Brady were pretty mediocre in road playoff games I’m still going back and forth on this one 😂 I guess we’ll know after the third matchup lol I don’t think the pats coaches trusted mac to throw the ball in that wind which is a huge advantage for buffalo. For whatever reason the bills didn’t give josh a chance to throw much until late and he was pretty successful even into the wind. Bills have also made some blocking scheme changes and are running pretty effectively lately
  14. I don’t think they consider re-signing baker. Doesn’t seem like a quandary at all to me. They’ve got an effective running game to lean on and he is still about as successful as a first year player would be for a much lower price tag. Lamar’s stumbles in the playoffs make it kind of interesting but I don’t see them letting him walk
  15. Yea I don’t think you’ll see many starting qbs getting tested in the playoffs lol unless they show symptoms of course. They’re going to ‘randomly’ test all the bench qbs in the qb room and not the starters haha
  16. That’s such an odd take but I see that a lot. I feel like we are so psychologically damaged by getting whooped by the pats for years that we assume any game we are not up by 30 at halftime we are going to lose lol. But every game we have won has been by 2+ scores and we never trailed in most of them. It’s really interesting the way this season has gone…we lost every one score game and won 10 other games by 2+ scores very very strange.
  17. Yea I agree…I don’t blame the pats for structuring their team that way while mac develops but I think Tennessee is always going to have some fundamental issues. One of the other top afc teams is gonna force them into a shootout whether it’s us or kc or the bengals and I don’t think someone like tannehill can carry the load. In todays nfl you really need a qb that can do it all to build around and Henry has been a crutch for that titans team. Gotta say though they were pretty competitive without him too
  18. They are a consistent high floor/medium ceiling type team that is always gonna be good enough to win any game in the playoffs but I don’t think they’ll ever win the 3-4 on a row it takes to win the super bowl. Seems like most of the competitors in the afc are built that way this year which is pretty interesting. From our point of view though that’s a scary team.
  19. We’ve had multiple banana peels this year 😂 moss got tackled by the ground and we ended up with 0 pts in the NE game lol not quite a banana peel but josh stepped one mm out of bounds on a scramble against the bucs and we ended up losing in OT too lol this team is like 6 inches away from having the one seed locked up. Not only are we 0-5 in close games we have lost most of them by literally inches
  20. I still don’t agree with this…I’m not sure mac jones could physically pass the ball at all in the wind game and josh was still moving the ball fine. We have the best qb you could ask for in bad weather he has an absolute cannon and runs like a fullback. I’ll hold my tongue til after the rematch in the playoffs but it really feels like the Pats got lucky in that wind game…they had no business winning that game we just shot ourselves in the foot too many times
  21. We’ve actually been great on 4th down the past few games…I think maybe there was one we didn’t convert? We have been outstanding on 3rd and 4th down as of late
  22. Right if he’s not close to 100% how much does he really help. Feels kind of like the situation the rams had a couple years back with gurley
  23. Yea some of those mid length throws he really hammered in there…sometimes it looks unnecessary from the broadcast angle but it really isn’t because dbs are trying to bait him into the throw but he has the arm strength to fit it in anyway Watching it again I don’t really think so…a lot of it was good coverage/drops completion percentage wise. The three picks were a bit unlucky. It’s kind of incredible how many clutch third down plays we’ve picked up the last few weeks though so he was fantastic when it really mattered
  24. Yep felt like bad luck to me after rewatching the game…that second pick Beasley got jammed and he just gave up on the play…third pick gabe was wide open and it also got tipped. Usually you see 2-3 tipped balls a game that harmlessly fall to the turf but the falcons intercepted every single one this time
  25. Falcons defender made a really nice tackle with his helmet right on the ball…the McKenzie muff was far worse so I could see why Stevenson got the benefit of the doubt at the very least.
