  1. I still don’t see the Dorsey criticism…idk if he’s great but he’s certainly better than any guys that are unemployed right now. There were extremely make-able plays that our guys just didn’t execute in all three losses.
  2. The eye test from our fans seems pretty biased though in that we give our opponents zero credit. Cincy who is apparently the best thing since sliced bread got taken right down to the wire by NE and would’ve lost that game if it weren’t for a key fumble.
  3. Idk the formula but we are the best on third down and we are second in ypg and ppg. We scored less than 20 once all season and that was because our entire offensive line was injured lol DVOA factors in opponents and we’ve got two division rivals with really tough defenses to score on
  4. Might be able to play some man depending on how banged up tyreek and waddle are. They did not look healthy yesterday. Pass rush is usually the best friend of a mediocre secondary and if the dolphins are missing a few offensive linemen they could be in trouble offensively. With a qb that hasn’t played in weeks and their two best skill position players banged up behind a patchwork offensive line, I just don’t see how they could outscore us. We put up points on them last time missing multiple offensive linemen, I don’t think we would’ve punted if morse and bates were healthy
  5. Based on Josh’s reaction you can usually tell who’s at fault. Looked like there were a couple of each in this game. Also a few of those ‘thrown behind him’ type balls were very catchable. The overthrow in the end zone looked like josh was being cautious and throwing it away because the linebacker was lurking so I wouldn’t really blame either for that one. If gabe caught 50/50 balls with a little more regularity I’d have no problem chalking some of it up to certain throws weren’t great. But he hardly ever comes down with them it seems
  6. I’d have to see what specific plays people are talkin about but speaking in general terms a lot of times a receiver looks open on tv because of the broadcast angle but if they switch to the view behind the qb you see a whole bunch of linemen’s hands in the passing lanes. If the oline is getting steamrolled like ours often is and those defensive linemen get their hands up, those short underneath throws could potentially be a lot more difficult than they look.
  7. The no bye is what people are talking about
  8. It’s a lot of this, and some ‘the rb sneaks out on a delayed route after a block when the qb is already throwing the ball’ He would’ve needed like 10 passing tds today lol it’s gonna be tough for him to win mvp if we kept getting unlucky with the weather. Seems like the weather was bad for a big chunk of games two years in a row now especially in away games
  9. They did…are you thinking of the chargers? Or are you assuming because the 49ers defense played well against Miami that they must’ve played a lot of press coverage? 49ers played it exactly the same way as what Leslie Frazier is criticized around here for.
  10. You’re giving everyone but cincy and buffalo an extra bye week that way. I’m sure that was pitched to the owners and they turned it down
  11. Lions could’ve been interesting in the playoffs and the Seahawks had to spoil it
  12. Also I don’t think josh really trusts singletary to catch the ball
  13. They literally beat kc with even worse players in the secondary 😂
  14. SF rushed 4 and played quarters off/2 deep all game and it worked for them. Literally more like the Leslie Frazier defense you are criticizing than Leslie Frazier’s actual defense 😂
  15. Has it? It’s hard to say if that’s true. It’s mostly been people overreacting to the first drive or two for the defense the last few weeks. We haven’t allowed a 300 yard passer since Cleveland and a big chunk of those yards were in garbage time. Tackling was certainly bad in the second Miami game but the pass coverage was pretty good outside of that one blown coverage
  16. People don’t ever want dbs to give any sort of cushion and if they do they are labeled as a soft, terrible defense lol
  17. If bates and morse weren’t injured in the same game I don’t think we would’ve punted. The dolphins will rack up plenty of yards though I’m sure but I just don’t think tua can beat josh in a shootout. He’s just too predictable in his reads and where he likes to go with the football
  18. He doesn’t remember the interceptions? I haven’t read that anywhere. I think he likely had no symptoms until after the game. Not sure his bad second half can be chalked up to the concussion
  19. That was a very strange chop block call then today which could’ve had a huge impact on the game 😂.
  20. You’re one of the good ones 😁
  21. Tua can really only throw to his first read in the middle of the field on those quick timing routes so I don’t think it’s THAT close. They certainly could win though. he’s accurate but his tendencies are pretty easy to gameplan against. our oline was a mess last time missing two starters…I think we would’ve won comfortably otherwise. Looks like tyreek and waddle are banged up too id set it in the -5 through -7.5 type range
  22. Wow -10 seems to imply bettors don’t think tua will be playing. You’d think it would be closer to 5 ish if he was
  23. Pats fans all blaming the refs on the internet it seems…which is genuinely puzzling. They missed a few calls both ways
  24. Chargers were in control of that first game then Herbert threw an unfortunate pick six in the end zone because the receiver was gassed from the huge play he had just made and couldn’t make a play on the ball.
  25. Mac jones didn’t outscore our offense…the offense would’ve had two more possessions there if hines didn’t return those kicks and we were in fg range taking knees at the end of the game. I don’t think Miami is an easy win but I’d rather play them than NE. NE has a tough front 7 and they are a bit harder to gameplan against on offense. Miami for sure has better skill position players but the book is pretty well written on tua’s tendencies
