  1. Still a false narrative imo…they are the best third down team in the league. That is the opposite of stuck in the mud. team looked actually stuck in the mud much more often with Daboll as OC
  2. The bills are getting picked by ‘experts’ substantially more than the bengals in this one. It’s just one specific ESPN show that went the other way with it. 65% of the expert picks are on the bills
  3. I think both things can be true…the play isn’t ‘designed’ to go to brown but the wide receivers/josh have plans in place for what they should do when a play goes off script. looked like brown ran a bit of a double move late that josh wasn’t expecting
  4. I was alright with it last year but this year they’re getting plenty of praise since their winning streak
  5. He only really seems to take the risks when nothing else is working so I think you are completely wrong about this honestly 😂 the risks usually come on the opponents side of the field when he’s trying to hammer in tds instead of field goals. How many of his ints were on our own side of the field giving up great field position this season? I can hardly think of any. he’s as close to a god qb as anyone in the league…you have said in your own post he doesn’t have any help and he’s certainly putting up numbers sooooo
  6. This is the publication that was obsessed with Herbert for the record 😂
  7. Seems like he’s good at run blocking but rough in pass protection
  8. People will blame the dancing at practice if they lose now 😂
  9. That’s exactly what I was trying to say lol cincy isn’t one of those ‘lucky to be in the playoffs as a 7 seed’ type teams
  10. How is the pressure only on one team in a single elimination scenario anyway lol cowherd is a dolt. You think the players on the underdog team are like ‘well we were a small underdog so who cares’ 😂
  11. The thing for me is not only are they missing 3 offensive linemen, but one of the starters they aren’t missing is bad. It’s not like Miami who had Connor Williams and terron armstead playing last week. Volson is probably the worst player on that offensive line when they’re all healthy. Miami had two bad/terrible offensive linemen hurt so they swapped in guys that were not much worse but they still had their two stalwart guys
  12. ? Adeniji filled in for collins and he’s been terrible
  13. We were missing 4 olinemen by halftime in that first dolphins game and nobody cared then lol interesting
  14. They most definitely are lol. Tickets for the potential afc championship game in buffalo are real expensive on all the reseller sites
  15. The ESPN picks seem to make sense to me now…they’re trying to hype the bengals up as ‘disrespected’ to promote the matchup. I think last year that was certainly the case but I’m not sure about this one
  16. 64% of the picks are on the bills also on nflpickwatch lol
  17. The volume is getting high and there were a few absolutely gigantic bets on the bills so i think you can completely rule this out for the bills bengals game. pretty tough to counter the ‘sharps think the bills are going to win’ argument in this one Yea for real…the argument makes no sense…if the bills knew the game was going to ‘end’ in a few minutes they would’ve gone for that 4th and short and the game likely would’ve been tied. we were also getting the second half kickoff so we had a double dip chance
  18. Josh sat about a full game due to being on the bench during blowouts, played one less game, had 6 or so more games of terrible weather than mahomes had, played in a sling several weeks due to an elbow injury, and is protected by a significantly worse offensive line than mahomes. Despite all of that, he finished with 3 less tds and 500 or so less total yards than mahomes did. if mvp actually meant most valuable player, josh would win it every year. But it is just an on paper stats award.
  19. He tumbled from best playoff qb rating of all time alll the way to 3rd best. Everyone’s jumpin ship lol
  20. It’s just ESPN and the big name brand blowhards like cowherd. pretty big majority on the bills when you aggregate all the expert picks.
  21. I think a lot of it is we came into the season as a favorite so we’re not as fun of a team to talk about for these analyst people
  22. The bengals oline last year is an all pro squad compared to what they’ll likely have Sunday. Not saying they won’t find a way to gut out a win but come on now lol also Miami had two great offensive linemen Connor Williams and terron armstead. If you’ve got a few guys that you know can reliably hold up in one on one matchups it gets a lot easier to gameplan around having a couple bad players. cincy will have one mediocre olinemen and then the rest are bad. Miami keeps a ton of extra guys in to block too…they run heavier packages than cincy. If cincy wants to do the same to help their oline out they will have to sacrifice some routes from skill position players.
  23. That throw he made with Milano rushing free up the middle late in the game was ridiculous. Hopefully no bengals fans misquote me here I’m not tryin to say Skylar is better than tua 😂…but there’s no way tua makes that throw. defense played great…Milano and edmunds were flying all over the field plugging running lanes and disrupting passing lanes. Secondary held hill and waddle in check. Score was high because each team just got so many drives. 220 yards allowed and 2 offensive tds (one of which was a very short field) is very impressive Skylar deserves a lot of credit for buying himself extra time when the pocket broke down
  24. It’s a function of miamis blocking scheme…they use heavier packages than most and keep extra blockers in a lot. That’s why they fell out of love with gesicki because he can’t really block. Thompson was pressured a lot considering how much resources they commit to blocking up front. Also connor Williams and Terron Armstead are great offensive linemen especially with the injuries they have going on, cincy doesn’t really have anyone above average. You can gameplan around missing an offensive linemen or two when you have some dependable guys that can win their one on one matchups, but I’m not sure cincy has that. Comparing the pass rush vs the dolphins to pass rush vs bengals next week is apples and oranges.
  25. It is pretty odd lol not that they’re necessarily gonna be wrong but on nfl pickwatch (which aggregates all the expert picks) it’s 65-35 bills. Not sure why ESPN is so aggressively the other way
