  1. I was very much on the ‘the titans rushing success is a team thing more than just a Derrick Henry thing’ until their game against us of course lol he just always seems to fall forwards for a few yards no matter how bad the run blocking gets blown up and that’s the part of his game that doesn’t get as much attention. I’m thinking now that any other rb will be a monstrous downgrade for them. that first down run the defense is sitting on losing a yard instead of going for 2-3 yards is such a backbreaker for what they like to do on offense
  2. Getting better compared to earlier this season? I think everyone in the afc east not named the buffalo bills has been a massive disappointment honestly. The dolphins were supposed to make big strides and they have talent and nothing to show for it. The jets coaching staff doesn’t look any more competent than the previous one. Pats are a solid team but it seems like the belichick/McDaniels wizardry has been a bit overblown over the years…I thought we were gonna have a Matt cassel situation on our hands where anybody could step in and win 10+ games for that team but they’re reminding me of the dolphins last year where they need a couple huge game breaking turnovers to beat a good team this dolphins team might be one of the most disappointing teams in nfl history…I can’t think of a 1 win team that’s anywhere as close to as good as them on paper
  3. I would def agree with this…the dolphins have the weapons on D to completely suffocate an offense so at least there was a basis for them to turn in a strong performance. the jags really don’t excel at anything and I will be as puzzled as anyone if our offense struggles lol
  4. They really do have one of the best units in the league on paper and they seemed to be playing inspired that game. Us being bills fans will be as pessimistic as possible about that win though and I certainly won’t blame anybody for that lol I would’ve been a lot more concerned if their offense lit us up but to me that’s exactly the kind of game you want to see…game plan/scripted plays not effective early and we made some adjustments at halftime and absolutely smoked them
  5. I’m back to say maybe (hopefully) it’s not a stats only award after the recent news 😂 I don’t want to say stafford is boring to watch but they very methodically move the ball down the field in a way where you feel like the backup qb could come in and still be successful (cough Jared Goff went to the super bowl running this offense cough) so yea there’s definitely times where the guy that’s number 1 in stats is definitely the most valuable but it doesn’t always have to be the case. When you watch a bills game it’s just the josh Allen show all game as of late. I don’t think any other qb could do what he does for this team. It’s crazy hes literally inches short from being wayyyy ahead of anyone else. If he hurdled an extra couple inches and we ended up beating the titans no one else is even close to him imo. It really is a game of inches lol
  6. Haha yea I’m not sure how much more they could’ve done that game…it is frustrating though when you know tua is gonna throw a slant or a quick out with little to no velocity on every 3rd down and they still pick it up lol so a lot of it is just fans being frustrated
  7. I think we’re disrespecting what the dolphins defense is capable of because of their overall record…they are loaded with talent on the defensive side in a way the jets really can’t match. A lot of money went into that dolphins defense with the sole focus of stopping josh in mind. I’m sure this has been mentioned but the titans were missing like half their team in that jets titans game and still almost pulled it out. Jets have given up 25+ points in every game this season since week 1 when the panthers were just content running out the clock with a sizeable lead
  8. Why do people put so much stock in the first half of football games. We absolutely dominated the second half…games are frequently close at halftime as the teams are feeling each other out. Dolphins were a ref noticing groot being physically assaulted on that play to gesicki away from losing a 3+ score game in which they scored 3 total points lol
  9. Def agree with GB. They might struggle getting past the rams though. I don’t think the bengals are anywhere close to as multidimensional as the titans or GB. mixon got stuffed all day running the football against the jets not that we should get too hung up on one of their games lol
  10. I can’t think of a single worse investment for this team than a star rb lol i live in giants territory and have seen saquon getting corralled in the backfield by 3-4 defenders on 90% of his carries behind the giants garbage run blocking more times than I can count
  11. Big Ben was just lobbing up prayers and their receivers made the plays in tight coverage… that game felt like a tough luck loss to me more than anything. Tennessee is a pretty special case as their running game demands so much attention that it’s hard to say tannehill having a great game is what beat us…I can’t think of any other team like that these days. Browns are close ish but kind of a lesser version. So it’s hard to extrapolate anything based on that titans loss unless we see them again in the playoffs which is very doubtful if Henry misses a lot of time. I just don’t think we can say things like well look what tannehill did Brady will def torch us which is the kind of stuff fans love to say haha
  12. They couldn’t mathematically take knees and they were running the football I don’t see anything wrong with it and I wouldn’t care if it was done to us. Total points is also a tiebreaker im pretty sure
  13. Didn’t he finish out the game after his injury…nice job vrabel/titans trainers
  14. NFC has a handful of heavy hitters that all have a chance so you never know. Cowboys are looking good though they had a win pretty much stolen from them week 1 when the bucs got away with a ridiculous push off on the game sealing catch too
  15. Kind of a shame if that’s what it gets reduced to because josh has really always been a ‘stats don’t tell the whole story’ kind of guy. Brady isn’t evading quick pressure when 3 linemen whiff on blocks and throwing an absolute strike on the run but it counts the same as a well protected pass on the stat sheet lol
  16. Oh yea rodgers deserved it for more than just stats alone… looks like Allen might have been second in total tds hm I thought there were a few more people in between. Even so I feel like there’s gotta be some reason Vegas likes him more than some other guys with ‘better’ stats right now for mvp. Not that they are the ones to decid. Maybe they are just projecting who will have the best stats at the end.
  17. I think it’s more how important the player is to that team…if josh keeps hurdling guys to pick up huge first downs and making ridiculous highlight plays it doesn’t matter as much if someone like Stafford or Brady has 4 or 5 more tds than him. To me he deserved to be 2nd last year and I’m sure he was 4th or 5th in total TDs but I’ll have to check. I think Murray was probably ahead of him before this week. Oh yea I def wouldn’t argue it’s a qb only award these days but it’s not really a ‘stats’ award.
  18. I still have a hard time following this logic…it’s not a ‘who has the most tds’ award…josh was 2nd in voting last year right? Was he second in TDs? Dolphins have a ton of defensive talent on paper and had a great game plan and still lost by 15 I wouldn’t worry about that for the future….division games are tough it’s (almost) unheard of to beat the same team 7 times in a row lol
  19. Tua had infinitely more turnovers than josh 😂 he throws ducks all game long…dude just doesn’t have it. If the refs somehow don’t lose their eyesight tua looks much worse on the stat sheet
  20. Raw stats is not how the award is supposed to work in theory…plus I’m sure this has been mentioned to death but we have played one less game than a lot of those teams…if josh gets 3 tds in that game we are behind he is pretty close to top of that list
  21. Offensive line is much weaker in pass protection so far this year
  22. He was pretty bad outside of that one play where groot was the victim of an illegal hands to the face and gesecki pushed off on the same play lol
  23. pretty sure tannehill was the most sacked qb in the nfl as of a few weeks ago not sure if that changed. Have you watched all of these teams play? Kyler is running for his life on a very consistent basis…Cleveland hasn’t been good up front. Dallas has been stout but they seem like the exception and they have so much money invested there
  24. Yea you give him 200 million to win these exact games and he did…there aren’t just dozens of great well rounded offensive linemen hitting free agency every year. the dolphins have had a ton of draft capital to build a team to beat us specifically and josh is a Charles clay drop away from beating them 8 times in a row. Division games are always slugfests
  25. Dude was Superman out there lol this is a crazy take. Every play he had defenders hanging all over him. Made a ton of plays on 3rd and long when our running game couldn’t even pick up 3rd and 1s. That game is a shutout loss without one of only a small handful of qbs
