So...what does the hoodie have up his sleeve?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea handing the division to a team just makes no sense…and if you’re going to do that why wouldn’t you pull some starters. There’s a realistic chance we could get a home game against cincy in the afc championship game whereas the pats are on the road with a rookie qb who plays badly on the road the whole playoffs 16TD 7INT at home for Mac 6TD 6INT on the road -
Two Bills Drive Pats at Bills 01/15 Roll Call
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m in…bought 4 tickets in the nosebleeds in case friends backed out and ended up changing my mind and bought relatively cheap tickets in the lower bowl lol needless to say it’s been a money losing affair 😂 -

Attacking the punter would’ve worked so well last time 🤣 -
Minnesota had games outside recently with wind chills in the negative 20 range. Absolutely no shot the nfl reschedules this one…fans should be perfectly capable of layering up and those that are at the game that haven’t prepared for it properly are not forced to stay. The players spend a good amount of time running around or standing next to heaters. Im sure there’s a point where it becomes a major health risk but the weather Saturday isn’t even close to that
-
I’m sure they’re cold but I think we’re exaggerating how much the cold impacts offensive execution…there really isn’t any correlation between cold weather and offensive metrics statistically speaking at least. It’s not like the fan in the 300 section that had been tailgating in the freezing cold for 4 hours is out there running routes is all I’m saying 😂
-
With cold hands sure but these guys spend more than half the game standing next to gigantic industrial heaters lol ball actually deflates in cold temps as we all learned from pats fans repeatedly screaming IDEAL GAS LAW 🤣
-
Oh neither would I maybe he’ll pick it up well when they give him more control of the offense. But I think people were too quick to crown a guy as the next great thing that was just completing mostly wide open 7-10 yard throws with plenty of time in the pocket. He’s still a big question mark in my opinion I think you can only test out in less than 5 days if you are asymptomatic though and we have no idea if he’s symptomatic or not so whoever said ‘he definitely will play’ was incorrect…that’s all I was trying to say

Do you think the Pats will blitz like the Jets did Saturday?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
And moss doesn’t trip on his own feet on the goal line…and if darryl Williams doesn’t take a completely unnecessary ineligible man downfield penalty. We absolutely dominated that game…pats were lucky to not get blown out on the scoreboard and belichick knows it. Pats have struggled mightily against the top afc teams that aren’t absolutely devastated with injuries and I don’t see too many paths to victory for them. granted in a single nfl game anything can happen but if this game is played 10 times I think the bills win 7 of them. The script has flipped where they need to play pretty close to a perfect game to beat us If jc Jackson catches that ball that a wr likely wouldn’t have caught AND the pats punched it in for 7 points we still would’ve had a drive to win the game and seeing as we punted precisely 0 times I very much doubt they would’ve stopped us when we were in 4 down territory…very slim chance we lose the game even if you give jc Jackson that pick -
I was just gonna say this lol this whole cold weather fear is getting a little crazy…plenty of people willingly participate in outdoor winter activities without issue 🤣 it’s not like fans are gonna be in the stands for a 1ft per hour lake effect snowstorm or in the middle of a monsoon. Minnesota played outdoor football for a few years when their new stadium was being built.

I hate that this game is going to the wire....
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their run defense has been pretty bad down the stretch. I’m not so sure they have a better run game either unless you’re one of those ‘qb rushing yards don’t count’ people. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - The Bills Move On
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow I was only looking a game ahead and didn’t even consider this -
Using analytics can’t really be evaluated on an individual play basis…it’s based on the probability of a play being successful but obviously the alternative could still happen. Over the long term following the analytics should theoretically pick you up a win or two but obviously in a 60/40 should I go for this 4th down type situation you’re still gonna get it wrong a big chunk of the time and fans are gonna second guess you 😂
-
Doesn’t seem to ever have to throw with much anticipation so he is impossible to evaluate…he is almost always hitting a receiver on a wide open drag or some other route 5-10 yards downfield. ‘ He’s doing a good job with what he is asked to do ‘ was just about the most positive thing you could say about him up until some critical afc tilts late in the season where he couldn’t even play at that level. not sure what the pats saw in him…I mean maybe I’m wrong belichick’s football knowledge far surpasses mine 😂 but it kind of felt like they threw an early pick away just to be kinda sorta competitive in the short term. They may beat us I mean anything can happen in a single game playoff setup…but there’s almost no chance they string together 4 wins in a row against these playoff caliber teams. I feel like a qb drafted in the mid to late rounds would be perfectly capable of what mac has been asked to do this season so it is a bit of a head scratcher. Josh was a huge risk sure…but the upside/potential was clear.
-
Totally agree overall but I still think belichick is getting a lot out of a roster without that much talent. Granted he’s the gm too so I guess the limited talent is on him too 😂
-
How does it hinder the passing game more though…football gets tougher to grip in cold temps and it’s just as likely we’ll see a run heavy team get a case of fumbilitis as a pass heavy team dropping passes. Not to mention our qb runs like a fb but that’s another story lol the scheme the pats have thrown at us offensively one fumble by them would be absolutely catastrophic while a few drops by us likely wouldn’t sink our chances

The blabbering Boston media thread
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m with you on that one…we punted 0 times and never trailed with some offensive weapons banged up and a mostly healthy pats defense. Now in the rematch we’ve got everyone available and the pats defense is banged up pats were three freak non executed plays away from getting obliterated…two dropped wide open tds and moss tripping over his own feet before the goal line stand. Pats were a difficult to haul in interception away from maybe going up a few points if they turned it into 7 and then us driving down the field for the win. Absolutely no chance of them stopping us on a game winning drive with 4 downs to work with in that game. pats have absolutely no business winning this one…not saying they won’t but they are outmatched at just about every position on the field. In a single elimination playoff situation though anything could happen -
He made some very rookie ‘I don’t understand the game’ mistakes down the stretch though…but he’s got a chance to show what he can do when it really matters this weekend. ‘Smart on the field’ for him has really been hitting guys that were schemed wide open so far…not saying he can’t do more but he really hasn’t been asked to.

most underrated move by Beane during his time here
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
That definitely could be true also. I wonder if he hates hearing people talk about how bad he was his rookie year and how much he improved lol. The fact that we moved the ball at all let alone won some games with that squad was impressive -

Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall
Can’t argue with the media part lol they are professional agitators. Honestly if the pats win Saturday with a banged up dugger and Barmore and missing Jalen mills it’s gonna be pretty hard to deny the media hype of how masterful belichick was so I will be on your side if people complain about the media haha I don’t see a lot of excuses on the bills side if nothing changes with Covid/the weather forecast. if mac plays well it really doesn’t matter he struggled down the stretch of the regular season so I wouldn’t be surprised if the mac jones is the next tom Brady talks resume -

Still stuns me…clearly he had some method to kick low liners into the wind but after the first shank why did he keep trying it 😂 -
First part I def agree with…they probably would’ve kept him if they could find a gm that would work with him. I think behind the scenes judge is an absolute sh*tshow though…he brings the whole ‘patriot way’ thing of being very much in no way a players coach but the team was not winning so he ended up just losing the locker room players talk and I’m sure they were gonna struggle big time trying to sign free agents. Usually when a coach is on the hot seat players go to bat for them but a lot of the players supposedly wanted him gone.
