  1. Hines is the best player on the team lol
  2. We finished 9-1 two years ago (only loss was hail Murray) and entered the playoffs on a 4 game win streak last year
  3. Do you remember last week? Do you remember us getting stuffed on 2nd and 3rd and 2 earlier this very game?
  4. Some clown on Facebook has been arguing with me for days now that gabe Davis is so good and he’s bailing Allen out constantly 😂
  5. Hines trade paying dividends in special teams alone
  6. If this is sarcastic it aged poorly 😂
  7. Seems like way more of an execution issue this season to me…tons of yards, tons of points, tons of turnovers. We probably have one of the worst run blocking offensive lines in football too though and no one has stepped up at slot receiver . That makes calling plays in the red zone a lot more difficult. It’s undoubtedly a problem, but idk how much of it is on Dorsey and how much the players. josh had a ton of easy ways to pick up a first on that final play vs Minnesota and he threw a terrible ball to Davis instead. Hard to blame Dorsey on those kind of plays
  8. They didn’t know the game was moving until Thursday and there is a ton that goes into finalizing a travel plan
  9. Not sure what schemes sf and car run but if he went from a west coast offense to a west coast offense that is much much easier than what hines is doing. our playcalls are essentially in a foreign language to what hines is used to in the Erhardt Perkins system, plays are called completely differently. It’s based on the route combination someone like Jeff Wilson can contribute right away because he got traded to a very similar offense while someone like hines will take time
  10. Idk how people don’t see this lol we were complaining about dabolls playcalls every week last year and we had an even bigger midseason slump then. Josh is leading the league in total yards and is 2nd in tds. Dorsey is certainly not forcing him to throw the ball to the other team.
  11. Hines is learning a completely new offense mid season with different terminology. McKissic would’ve been here in the offseason
  12. Mid season overreaction thread 😂. If you remove the outlier belichick from that first list of guys, Reid, harbaugh, tomlin, and Pete Carroll added together have like 5 Superbowls total in 70ish combined years of experience. that’s some of the best coaches in the league and they win the Super Bowl once every 14 years on average about reid has had some of the best teams in the league as the eagles/chiefs head coach and he has won the superbowl a whopping 1 time as a head coach john harbaugh’s team has also allowed several embarrassing second half comebacks this season and I don’t see anyone running him out of town
  13. It was win and in for us with three games to go…we must’ve been in better tiebreaker shape
  14. Josh was trying to get Harrison smith to bite harder on the inside post with the pump…he did but josh seemed to panic that smith was still lurking close enough to make the play so he completely overthought that throw imo. Davis had Peterson beat and it’s a pretty likely td and an incompletion at worst if the ball led Davis into the end zone funny seeing Peterson say stuff like that because the Vikings defense was an absolute disaster to close out regulation and in OT lol. I have almost no doubt josh could’ve carried the ball 6 straight times on that ot drive and he’s in the end zone 😂
  15. Don’t they give the tickets away for free? That’s what happened last time As I was agreeing with a bunch of people on reddit that Allen wasn’t playing great I ended up convincing myself he still has a good chance at mvp somehow haha IF he cuts down on the turnovers he’s still in good shape (could be a big if I know). He’s leading all qbs in total yards right now when you factor in rushing yds and he’s a couple tds behind mahomes in total tds. there’s a pretty good chance he keeps it at 15 ints or less and racks up a ton of tds/total yards but will it be enough to catch mahomes is the question
  16. Same thing happened to rodgers in GB that happened to Brady in NE. The talent dried up around them on offense.
  17. Depends on how healthy the linebackers are…if we’re missing one of edmunds and Milano it seems the coaching staff would rather have taron johnson out there than another one of the linebackers down the depth chart
  18. They aren’t even thinking about their team having to arrive at the game somehow haha it’s not even going to be Snowing much at game time I don’t think
  19. Oh yea it’s pretty semantic whether you want to label it a drop or a great defensive play but either way that’s a catch Knox certainly can make. This is just a screenshot obviously but it looked like it was in Knox’s hands before getting knocked out
  20. I feel bad for josh man…he carries the team 9 times out of 10 and nobody seems to be able to step up and bail him out when he needs it. he hit Davis right between the numbers on that 70 yard bomb the week before too that could’ve been the game winner and would’ve at worst tied it. he got robbed of an epic 4th quarter comeback against kc in the playoffs, got robbed of the same against Arizona a couple years back due to the defense givin up the hail Murray. We’re just straight up cursed
  21. I think they actually were free last time this happened
  22. Yea he probably was but I can’t fault them for not calling it in that moment…plus we got an absolute gift on that gabe drop at the end of regulation just to get us to that point
  23. Kind of funny when they got beat on a double move for the game winning td in regulation by gabe and had to hold him lol. If they could predict his routes, why did he have a step on Peterson with no safety help for the game winning td? Seems like it’s a bit of revisionist history at work here wouldve taken a good throw for the td but at worst that’s an incompletion if josh didn’t throw an absolutely horrendous pass
  24. I would assume hines was running against a lot more stacked boxes than singletary ever has though. Not that it’s singletarys fault but when the Vikings started looking for the run we couldn’t do anything in the running game.
  25. The oline was a mess and improved almost overnight towards the end of last year so you never know. Even so it took multiple act of god level plays for a good team to beat us so I wouldn’t personally give up just yet
