If it wasn't Lamar, it should have been Purdy. I think it was Barnwell who pointed out that Purdy had the 4th greatest statistical season of all time by any/a+. Dak had a better statistical season as well. Mahomes was about the same as Josh and arguably had less weapons.
Josh will hopefully prove he's the best player in the NFL with this upcoming SB run, but as for 2023 MVP, No.
mahomes was 11th in total tds. Josh was 1st. How is that the same?

That was a Josh throw. Boggles the mind
That’s a Josh attempt on 3rd and 25 in the second quarter lol I don’t think he’d ever do that in that spot of a game

That was a Ryan Fitzpatrick level of decision in the 2 minute drive
Ryan Fitzpatrick level decisions the whole second half lol

Purdy had a TD pass there but elected to run.
He bailed that pocket obscenely early…feels like he lost all confidence in this one and will probably win anyway 😂

It’s kind of nice to see an interim coach earn themselves the job for once
6 hours ago, Ethan in Cleveland said:I dont have the time or enrgery to look it up.
But has there ever been an interim guy that then gets the full time job and done really well?
I'm struggling to recall anyone that actually did well when they first got the job as an interim
Note. This is NFL I'm talking. The Michigan basketball coach Steve Fisher that won a NCAA championship as and interim that took over for the Fab 5 may be the greatest interim to HC story in sports history.
I feel like an interim keeps the job so infrequently that the sample size is too small to comment on either way. I think marrone was one technically but they probably always planned for him to get a shot at hc

Odds are already out. They're both 3.5 point dogs.
They change a bit when one team wins…we were underdogs to kc in the middle of our game last week I believe

The 49ers had over 420 yards of offense and averaged 6.3 yards per play against Baltimore.
They were moving the ball just fine against the Ravens defense.
Purdy just couldn’t get out of his own way.
Saw a lot of niners fans posting that the picks were just unlucky tipped balls but it seemed to me purdy was lucky he didn’t throw even more picks 😂

Is it me or does every other team have receivers WIDE open except the bills? Josh has to constantly for them in a tight window. I could have completed that pass!
Texans def didn’t 😂

Talk all the trash you want about Purdy. For a 2nd year guy, you can't ask for more.
He kinda got lucky on that dropped pick though to be fair lol

No intentional grounding there?
Only when josh does it…I’ve legit never seen that called any other time on a route mixup when the qb has time 😂

Nose Tackle Derrick Nnadi ruled out, as well as the recently activated from IR Skyy Moore.
Questionable designations to a pair of WRs in Toney and Ross.
A relatively clean sheet for these guys, but losing their starting caliber DL must burn.
Edit: Back up tackle Wanya Morris also ruled out with a concussion it appears he sustained in practice? Full participant earlier this week, then limited, to DNP and ruled out. I left this off initially as he is not in the starting 5. On second thought, I came back to add him after recognizing it was Morris who faced the Bills (many say admirably) when Donovan Smith could not play. Likely a non factor but in the event of an in game injury, they’d be down to their next option.
Chiefs are in a tough spot if they lose an olineman for sure. Pretty rough spot for skill position players too no Toney no skyy moore

Seems like they don’t really call holds in the playoffs

All the good defenses do, it’s smart as they won’t call penalties on every play.
They will if Tom Brady is on the other sideline in the Super Bowl 😁. I knew the chiefs were done in that chiefs bucs Super Bowl the first time they called holding on the chiefs haha

Before the Cowboys game many spoke on the record of the Cowboys going into that game with said ref, undefeated. How did that play out?
Also, it’s not the entire Hochuli crew, it’s him and others. Relax.
Happened to us vs bengals in the playoffs last year too…bengals fans were nervous about the ref assignment and they destroyed us lol

Look at the head to head match up. That's obviously the best indicator not the performance vs quality of opponent.
You think McD is telling the Bills players and coaches this info? Of course not because it's senseless data that means zero come Sunday. Not sure why that's so hard to comprehend.
In the other hand, you can bet that the coaches have looked at the film of the previous match up.
You can be foolish and stand by your argument. I won't be the foolish follower.
I mean the chiefs are on the road in this one because they lost a huge regular season game.. were 3-1 against them in the last 3 all at arrowhead and the 1 loss is probably a win if the coin falls the other way. This whole ‘but that’s regular season’ argument is a little ridiculous imo. Both teams are giving their all in a regular season game that’s obviously going to have massive seeding implications because neither team wants to have to travel in the playoffs
These teams are about even in h2h matchups during mahomes and Allen era with the chiefs controlling things early on and bills controlling things more recently
chiefs haven’t won one without tyreek yet

Spreads are weird…9.5 points looks huge on paper but if the ravens won by 10 we’d all call it a close game probably despite them covering

I'm missing something here. I thought that Taron's availability status would be determined at 6 AM and that, naturally, we would know pretty much right away; go, or no go. Any info yet?🤔
He might have to clear by a certain time but I don’t think the bills are required to announce it right when he clears

Excited for Allen to win so he can shut up the Chiefs narrative.
“Realists” never admit they were wrong. They just go silent and move on to the next negative narrative.
“Never won a road playoff game.”
”Never made the Super Bowl.”
”Never won a Super Bowl.”
Let’s kill every last narrative in the next 4 weeks.
This is a huge game in Allen vs mahomes lore lol has mahomes ever lost to the same opponent three times in a row? I’m gonna assume no

I agree 100%. I think Douglas and Taron OUT too, unfortunately. This is all table talk.
Passing concussion protocol for the game the following week for a mild concussion happens way more often than not…Douglas was a full go in practice and said he could’ve played last week.. odds of them both being out are very small. I’d expect they both play

Josh Allen: The Correct Choice for NFL MVP
in The Stadium Wall
Posted · Edited by Generic_Bills_Fan
I can remember one pick or fumble six in Josh’s entire career and mahomes gave up one of each on back to back drives this year to lose to a team thats qb through for 61 yards 😂. Multiple turnovers in a loss to Denver too. A lot of one turnover games where he was just cr*ppy too lol
Mahomes had two huge turnovers overturned vs jets and pats also that absolutely should not have been on top of that. Still had a two turnover game against NE despite it
