He followed up the best throw in his career with one of the worst…y’all jinxed him lol
-
That drive is the dolphins in a nutshell for me…they move the ball well all drive then have a play blown up in the flat and it details their drive
-
He’s as good as anyone throwing to guys that were schemed wide open which is what we’ve seen so far…seems very gunshy in tight windows though

curse of the butt punt--it likely saved Miami

Only because the free kick was insane…an average free kick and we likely win that game easily -
TNF Dolphins at Bengals pre-game talk

I think they’re a little better than that Steelers team that went 12-0 or whatever -
I am more sure we will get them in the rematch than if we destroyed them with our starters Sunday. That roster we were down to in the second half was pretty dreadful and we still should’ve pulled it out. I hope he spitefully stops blowing teams out just to adhere to this silly metric. I doubt Brady, mahomes, and rodgers had a run of 20 consecutive two + score wins. We are reaching historic levels. He’s had plenty of clutch should be game winning drives that the defense blew too…ala cardinals game and chiefs playoffs game. Bucs game he was great and we got hosed on that uncalled pi against diggs in the end zone that would’ve won us the game…josh was plenty clutch in that one. pats cheapshotted him his rookie year and he missed the tail end of the potential game winning drive. You really gonna hold those against him? josh is extremely clutch imo, it’s the defense that’s great until an absolutely key moment then can’t make the play

I could see that…the dolphins had some dropped picks too but milanos hit him right between the numbers. I think losing kumerow is the big thing that gets overlooked…if diggs and McKenzie were in the lineup more down the stretch we win that one easily imo. The more I think about it the luckier it feels like the dolphins got

Cowherd killing Bills coaching in his monologue
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Literally none of it is fair lol we were missing 5 offensive linemen down the stretch in that game. We were an injury away from Gilliam having to play guard. If we called more running plays and averaged 2 ypc blowhards like cowherd would’ve been the first to criticize the playcalling. We were vastly undermanned to close out that game it’s kind of incredible we kept it close. This whole ‘Miami had injuries too so injuries don’t matter’ thing is easily disprovable when you look at both teams snap counts. They had hunt and little miss like 2 total plays and that was pretty much it we couldn’t rotate players because of how depleted our roster was and gassed players not being able to get substituted out is obviously going to lead to sloppiness. -
Has anyone looked at the snap counts from the Miami game? How are you running the ball with that offensive line we finished the game with? Tennessee was a pass heavy game plan I’m sure because the front 7 is their strength and the weaknesses are at corner kc claimed they got smoked in the Super Bowl because they were missing a few offensive linemen….we were missing like 5 on Sunday
-
Fun stat of the day…the pats have never won a superbowl without losing to Miami in the regular season I mean…if the Sportsbooks knew the healthy players we’d be left to finish this game out with, we would’ve been 10 point underdogs. If that lineup was considered our starters we’d be the underdog almost every game
-
The pressing honestly made sense to me(it normally doesn’t though)…it was only a matter of time before a sack or holding call derailed the drive…he was working miracles making passrushers miss. Had to take risks down the stretch there he had probably the worst offensive line ever assembled blocking for him late in this one.

I mean look at the snap counts from the game. We had absolute scrubs forced in due to injury. -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme

Well one of those punts was when tua went down and one was when the offense pinned them on the goal line late in the game and they were trying not to take too many risks. So realistically they scored tds on about half their possessions although one was a short field. Elam did a nice job on tyreek though so that’s a good sign -
Week 4: Bills at Ravens 10/2 1pm

Some of our oline losses were heat stroke and I think Mitch was close to ready Sunday so I’d be surprised to not see him this week. Bates could clear concussion protocol this week too so despite being down 5 guys last week we could be business as usual Sunday -

Too Allen centric when Allen is the only healthy player on the team lol riiight -
Why exactly are we favored by 3.5 in Baltimore?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their defense isn’t -
I think as the streak goes on of winning every game by two scores it’s becoming clear that when we have an off game josh is good enough to keep us in it. He missed one throw sure but we had no business being in that game. Our offensive line was getting obliterated which would’ve led to way more three and outs/opportunities for Miami to drive on our defense if josh wasn’t playing out of his mind. That should’ve been a lopsided loss and we lost by 2 points…and at the same time were holding it against josh for losing a one score game? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. hard to blame one guy for missing a throw with an injured hand and after everything he went through that game when bass missed a short fg and Milano dropped a pick six and gabe couldn’t hang onto that perfectly thrown pass in the end zone and so on

You want to win games by less points? Lol insane take. Well let’s go through what you are blaming coaching for..I saw a lot of bad execution on a handful of plays where we only needed one of those plays to hit to win the game. Based on Ken Dorsey going full hulk on the coaching booth I’m gonna say McKenzie was not coached to stay in bounds there lol it was a busted play to begin with though because our offensive line was absolute garbage due to injuries. Not to mention the drive was on schedule time management wise until the holding call. I see people talking about how we should’ve challenged the gabe drop…there’s no chance we win that. McD would’ve been flamed even harder for wasting a timeout there The main thing I see that can be criticized is the 3rd and 22 and that’s a classic case of hindsight is 20/20. We could’ve sent more pass rushers but there’s no guarantee they would’ve gotten home. -
I don’t think people have ever run for their life for 3 straight hours in 100 degree heat then bashed their hand on someone’s helmet before throwing an out into decent coverage lol. I will never understand how josh was even upright late in that game. We had tons of opportunities to win that game that had nothing to do with josh also. He did much more than enough to win
-
That’s not getting overturned in a review anyway though As they should’ve…he was insanely good in that game but people are salty he missed that throw and we didn’t win. We lose that game by 35 with anyone else. People are complaining about the short throws? lol that is absurd…that was literally the gameplan. Miami kept sending the house with cover 0 blitzes and we wanted to keep our defense on the sideline. Hard to point to just that throw as why we lost the game…we had a bunch of different opportunities to win it. Not to mention he had just smashed his hand on someone’s helmet.

This place is so cathartic after losses.

I’m the same way…on a single game basis I’m not at all worried. That was one of the flukey-ist losses we have ever had...even more so than the wind game. At least in the wind game it was pretty clear NE was running the football well. We went down to 100 degree Miami on a short week missing 6 starters, lost an additional 5 starters and still outgained them by hundreds of yards and doubled their time of possession. I think we win that game 90 times out of 100. Could make our upcoming schedule tough though depending on the injuries. I think Miami’s luck is going to run out and they’re going to start dropping some games to decent teams -

Felt like a tough luck game to me…seems like the gameplan was long sustained drives to keep our defense off the field and we were planning on rotating some players in but the offensive line injuries really killed us. I don’t expect to lose the rematch but we’ve gotta go out and beat baltimore now. feels a lot like the NE wind game last year where we lost and everyone proclaimed them the new team to beat but then their luck ran out of either playing bad teams or good teams with tons of injuries -

Dropped pick six too…I wouldn’t call that Davis td a drop but it’s certainly a ball he could’ve come down with….the defender made a nice play -
