NFL Week #15 - Fish at Buffalo - Post Game Thread
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you only care about offense maybe…that defense on paper is better than Flores’ squad and they have taken a huge step backwards. Does that not reflect on McDaniel because he is an offensive minded head coach? even their offense isn’t really elite despite having tons of talent…they are racking up tons of yards but the ppg just isn’t there to support that defense. -
So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.

If we matched our performance this week with the chiefs performance this week we would’ve won by 3 scores probably. We probably would’ve beat the cowboys and eagles this week also Pretty great offensive performance honestly considering we had a third string center for half the game -

McDaniel is a mediocre/bad coach imo. I don’t get where the hype is coming from. They get talked about like they have an average roster and he is getting a lot out of his players but their team is absolutely stacked and very much in win now mode with the tyreek trade. They also added two great offensive linemen (when healthy) armstead and Connor Williams and win percentage wise they’re hovering at about previous dolphins team levels Lots of head scratching playcalls on his part specifically in short yardage situations. He’s got that defense that’s good on paper playing quite poorly too. I don’t think he’s any better than Flores overall but his team is certainly more fun to watch because of tyreek/waddle. -
I’m starting to get extremely frustrated with Dorsey.

We beat them with a third string center that can only snap the ball to a qb in the shotgun. Gotta think that effected the gameplan. Miami absolutely implodes when they’re missing an offensive lineman. We would’ve torched them if morse didn’t go down or if bates was available. Dolphins got a gift against us twice this year…we played a whole half + with a third string center in the first matchup too Bates will help when he returns. Van roten is bad when he plays his normal position but when he has to bump over to center he is pretty close to if not the worst offensive lineman in the league. -
I’d honestly call the people not being critical of kc anti-homers which is just as bad 😂. Idk how we can criticize the way the bills have been winning games against pretty good teams and not be allowed to be critical of the way kc has been winning against bottom of the barrel teams. They faced 4 or 5 backup qbs this year and still barely held on in those games. Neither the bills or chiefs are an impossible team to beat in the playoffs

Detroit is now 6-1 in their last 7 with their only loss coming against buffalo…they’ve got a good shot at a 9-1 finish with us being their only loss. Kc is barely hanging on against terrible teams who are often missing their starting qb jets are a much better team with Mike white than the teams kc is barely beating too

NFL Week #15 - Playoff seeding version - Chiefs @ Texans

Played the rams with a third string qb too and they were in a tight game against Denver and Russell Wilson got hurt. They are without a doubt the luckiest team in the league -

Chiefs and Vikings are the two luckiest teams I’ve ever seen -
Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

There was no guarantee he was getting in the end zone and no guarantee the dolphins wouldn’t have stripped the football either. Assuming they were confident in the fg hold/kick in the snow it was probably the right call -

I can’t get over how inane that tweet is. Kohou got hit with a defensive hold penalty before the dpi even happened on the same play so that’s a first down either way. Not to mention enforcing the rule correctly actually helped his beloved patriots -

Man do I hope hyde comes back for the playoffs…seems like there’s a possibility -
No!!! Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins!

Tyreek trade is gonna bite them. He’ll be on the decline and waddles rookie contract will be up by the time they can put the missing pieces together -
Snowballs - fair game if aimed at Dolphins bench?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Clark Rotary's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every snow game for every team this happens. It’s not a good look but the dolphins and nfl look just as bad complaining about it/threatening to penalize the team as the fans look for doing it (dolphins fans were definitely throwing them too) it was stupid pretty much all around -
Oh hey look, we clinched the playoffs

I’m torn…love the lions but the jets losing today helps the chargers get in the playoffs who could be a tough out if they get healthy -

All the talk about how were not a good team and may not even make the playoffs and fast forward a couple weeks we’re three up in the division with three to play lol as comfortable of a division lead as we’ve ever had -

I don’t think he cares about his personal stats he’s just trying to help his team win. He yelled ‘pass me the ball’ at the sideline reporter as a joke so I don’t think he’s seriously mad or anything lol -

I don’t really understand the way the dolphins are viewed. Their team is absolutely stacked on paper, trading for tyreek is a win now move. People seem to view them as surprising underdogs but really they’ve been disappointing imo. offense took a big step forward, defense took a big step back despite trading for Chubb and making some other moves. They’re really not far ahead of where Flores had them as far as overall team goes it’s just that offense is way more exciting than defense. if they miss the playoffs it is an enormous failure -

I’m confused by that as well…people are making it seem like it’s never happened before but it happens every snow game. I’ve never seen a coach complain about it, especially a coach with a laughably huge early season home field advantage of his own -
Mitch Morse December 2022 Concussion

Bates could be back soon which would be much better than van roten if morse is out for awhile. I think people forget we’re on a third string center not second -

Generic_Bills_Fan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s kind of funny to me because this is honestly the most consistent the bills have ever looked on a game to game basis 😂. 2020 might amount to a better win percentage but we got absolutely spanked by the titans and chiefs back to back. We also looked absolutely dreadful quite a few times last season. Some of the criticism is valid but I think a lot of the issue is some of our fans can’t handle close games and also they’re just not used to the jets and dolphins actually being good teams now lol -

Yea just checked the snap counts…kind of the same deal with quessenberry/van roten though so you can just substitute the names lol. Looks like hart was just in as an extra blocker on quite a few plays and messing things up so I just assumed he had weaseled his way into the starting lineup 😂 van roten at center is a huge problem. The offensive line seemed to play well in the first half. Josh had tons of time. Then morse went down and it was like flipping a switch
