  1. Miami just doesn’t seem to widen the field enough on those passing plays it’s so odd…idk if it’s a tua limitation or what. The defense knows how fast the ball is coming out and more or less exactly which third of the field it’s going to when it’s a passing play. GB did a nice job stuffing the run and got ahead pretty big early which makes that play action pass trickery not as effective Idk if I buy that 🤣. If Brady got benched over an injury guarantee I don’t think he’d like it a whole lot
  2. That’s what they always say lol. I think it’ll come down to losing the locker room more than the number of losses on paper but he’s probably gone after this year however you slice it
  3. Idk if it’s warranted but coaches seem to get more credit for getting pretty decent results without much talented than getting great results loaded with talent we’ve also seen how it ends with Frazier lol. If babich’s defense gets roasted in the playoffs too people will sour on him also
  4. Yea that’s fair…if Milano gets back up to 80-90% down the stretch I think it could make a big difference but guess we’ll see. Dorian is progressing well but he still seems to get picked on nothing will be as bad as that playoff defense against kc with aj klein taking all the MLB snaps lol
  5. That could be true but it’s still way ahead of what I expected losing two starting safeties and without Milano up until this point
  6. So crazy they started off 2-0 and then it went about as badly as possible ever since 😂. None of those wins were super decisive either they won the Baltimore game by 4 and Buffalo/Dallas by 2 i wouldn’t even put much stock in those two wins early in mcdaniel’s tenure when there wasn’t much film on his offense
  7. I think they’ve got 3 wins against teams that finished above .500 in mcdaniel’s tenure and two of them were flukey as hell games back to back early on in his first year (the huge comeback against Baltimore then heat stroke game against Buffalo) I’ve gotta go back through and make sure I’m not crazy though lol the other one I remember off the top of my head was Dallas last year I think it’s 3 unless I’m mistaken…Baltimore the week before the bills heat stroke game and they beat Dallas late last year. Still absolutely horrible but not quite as bad as 1 win 😂
  8. It always blows my mind this doesn’t get talked about much in general lol…Goff is the same way any time I’ve seen him. Throwing to wide open guys is great but someone’s gonna throw some tough looks at you in the playoffs. It almost works out to your teams detriment when you aren’t really forced deep in your progressions/to make tight throws in the regular season much
  9. 2014-2016 he was a beast for the giants. Seems like being a head case/injuries derailed him though
  10. The bucs game was a win I don’t care what anybody says lol. Absolute screwjob.
  11. Yep shouldve done that haha had a busy September/October though. This one felt perfect cuz getting sick from compromising my immune system with alcohol in a huge crowd of people couldn’t have ruined any major holidays 😂
  12. Was debating going and this swung me to no…bummer
  13. What advanced stats? Net points were first in the AFC, DVOA were third in the league and so on without even having healthy Amari cooper for much of the year and Milano returning soon. I think we’re being overly critical of that ravens game when the defense was completely ravaged and no Shakir if our defensive lineup ever gets that shorthanded down the stretch I think a lot of us won’t feel as optimistic but with Milano returning and cooper healthy again this team is pretty stacked
  14. I’m not saying they’re a threat to us im saying they’re more of a threat than SF is who is no threat to us 🤣. Who has that amazingly talented SF team beaten. Jets pats seahawks(lost the rematch) cowboys bucs. Seahawks win was pretty decent but they split people talk about the dolphins like they’re absolute clowns but they’re a pretty competent team is where the underrated comment is coming from. I was told ‘they’re awful just look at their record’ leading up to that rematch and they played us pretty tough because they’re pretty good
  15. Dolphins with tua have gotta be the most underrated team on this board haha. By this standard where close losses are pretty much a win they’re 5-1 with tua with their only loss being that first meeting with Buffalo. I don’t think they’re a good example of ‘meh team that almost beat us’ and they have outperformed SF with tua in the lineup. For whatever reason this board just gives no respect to teams we beat and the same will happen with SF 😂. Leading up to the game it’s all ‘watch out they’re loaded with talent’ then after it’ll be ‘meaningless win SF is garbage’
  16. Nick mullens was worse than Daniel jones starting for a stacked offense in SF when jones was starting for the horrendous giants imo. They’re both bad sure but there’s varying degrees lol can’t even imagine how bad mullens would’ve been on that giants team of the last few years josh johnson is absolutely horrendous
  17. The extra 69 dollars is so random lol. How do they come up with this stuff. Could’ve just kept it 14k
  18. I could honestly see him going to the Vikings or ravens. I think he could step in for Darnold and be fine there and with McCarthy on ir their backup is Nick mullens who is a bit more terrible than jones haha ravens only have Josh Johnson I believe after Lamar
  19. This makes 0 sense to me. You think he’d give up playcalling duties to a guy he didn’t think was qualified so he could fire the guy if/when he didn’t do a good job? Lol that makes his seat much hotter than if he just did the job himself and got pretty good results My guess is mcd was so busy with the defense last year that he lost a bit of a handle on the ‘force feeding Diggs to keep him happy’ situation under Dorsey and he stepped back from defensive playcalling to not let something like that happen again. Definitely wouldn’t have done it if he didn’t trust Babich. the offense changed dramatically once Dorsey was out, diggs immediately got pissed off, and the team was much more successful.
  20. 2 of those divisional losses were to the chiefs which could’ve easily been the afc championship quality wise though so I don’t read into that point a whole lot. first point about Phil rivers was spot on though he had a great game. If Allen/gabe Davis didn’t step up that could’ve easily been a loss
  21. Lions colts could be intriguing. Rooting for a dolphins loss is always good too lol
  22. Wanya Morris kinda sucks but humphries coming off a knee injury can definitely be worse lol
  23. Only one of those division games is on the road so I think an upset would be pretty unlikely. We seem to always struggle at MetLife and got that one over with at least
  24. Yea plenty of ifs/missed chances by both teams. People are only talking about the plays the chiefs missed but we missed quite a few too. I think our gameplan changes a lot if Spencer brown plays too seemed like we were running a lot to slow their pass rush down if that 4th and 3 play was just a turnover on downs we would’ve had much better field position for the defense, missed the wide open shot to Morris, missed a few wide open throws. If we were 1/1 on 4th down the game would’ve felt a little closer to me but we rolled the dice twice and were successful once which is pretty normal.
  25. I still don’t get this…they threw worthy the ball when he was open and didn’t when he wasn’t. Don’t think they trusted their third and medium passing plays you can’t really commit to the run when you’re not confident in those
