I don’t think non bills fans/ the handicappers are as high on the bengals as bills fans are. Yea they have started slow before but their team has a lot more obvious deficiencies this season than in past years. who knows what’ll happen but I think we’re being a bit too reactionary about their most recent win leading up to the game. not that this means much of anything but the bills have a massive edge in espns fpi vs the bengals. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a betting underdog viewed so favorably by that metric before

When we signed him we thought he had potential…after playing it was clear he did not have potential lol he probably had one of the worst seasons for a guard that wasn’t benched of all time

Welp they reportedly tried very hard to do just that…Chicago’s front office makes no sense though and they were asking for a ton theyre gonna lose him and get nothing in return

They’re eerily similar to us imo but it’s up to peoples interpretation how much stock should be put in that sf game and cincy starting slow could be a trend. to me this is a new year, they let one good and one great safety walk which has knocked their defense down a peg. Can’t really run the football too well either and they let their TE that caused us some problems walk without a viable replacement. Idk that we win but there’s a lot of differences from the last meeting 5 quarters is a stretch…looked like we were in for a shootout in that regular season matchup. We ended up kicking a fg on a 4th and short that obviously we would’ve gone for if we knew the game was ending very early. our oline was mauling them on our one drive in the regular season that’s why the playoff result threw me so badly lol either way we have objectively upgraded in the trenches compared to that playoff roster we were running with

Dolphins game this year, 1st dolphins game last year, chiefs regular season games last two years, ravens playoff game, rams game last year, pats playoff game sorry I’m out of order now cuz these are randomly popping into my head lol Not saying we win and I can absolutely understand the negativity but I think we’ve reinforced the trenches on both sides of the ball quite a bit from that playoff game vs cincy…I think that’s more than a fair statement at the least

Our guys are supposedly overrated bums when we’re predicting the games but suddenly they’re underrated when we trade for a new guy 😂

There are some knowledgeable posters worried that he’s just on a hot streak now that could regress to journeyman level if things don’t go well which is a negative opinion with merit…but some of these other posts look like straight up trolling lol

I think the defense actually might be pretty good in the playoffs lol it’s getting there that may be interesting.

Patrick surtain was getting two firsts+ easily if moved. Denver is fine building around him and would’ve needed a massive deal to move him

They’re getting an early 5th in return and getting a difference maker. Even if he’s just ‘pretty good’ gb kind of got fleeced value wise imo…looks like it was just a salary dump for them.

A 90 overall player for a 3rd round pick would be wild lol you can’t even trick madden into doing that

He’s one of the most respected veterans/solid players on that defense lol I’m not sure your friends are up on the X’s and O’s even if he’s ok (an undersell) he is a massive upgrade to what we have now and the packers didn’t get very much in return probably worth a third and they gave us a 5th for free
