If we get a little healthier after the Detroit game I’d say we’ve got a pretty good chance. Miami is playing well but I don’t think they’re that bad of a matchup for us
-
Gronk was the same way…once you’re a household name you can do whatever you want. im hoping they don’t do the same with big name corners still because we’re gonna be gettin held by sauce Gardner for the next 15 years if that’s the case 😂
-
Yep that’s what I was tryin to get at 🤣. LAC could be scary come playoff time bills are 99% gonna make it and it’ll probably be NE/NYJ that miss out
-
It’s not primarily…but a lac loss does some good things too still imo. A silver lining situation. A couple good afc teams are gonna miss out and a chargers loss really hurts them when their team could be one of the best afc teams at full strength
-
Yea that’s a pretty safe assumption but crazier things have happened
-
I kinda see this game as a win win…either kc loses and we’ve got a better shot at the 1 seed or LAC loses and it takes a ton of pressure off makin the playoffs. two of BUF,MIA,NYJ,NE,CIN/BAL,LAC are not gonna make it in

The defense sucked....again

The plan is to get edmunds and Rousseau back 😂. Really all the defensive issues can be traced back to Dodson/Bernard I don’t think Detroit’s offensive line is as good as Cleveland’s and defensively they are worse than Cleveland also Saying ‘yea I get injuries’ really kind of demonstrates you don’t get injuries to me lol. We are still missing two starting corners, have been missing two starting safeties the last few weeks and now have poyer playing hurt, missing Rousseau, and have been missing one of edmunds/Milano consistently for a month now. if Dallas had injuries like that there is no chance they hold Minnesota to 3 points. It’s gotten pretty close to running with an entire second string defense at points in this season. teams with good offensive lines are gonna give us trouble until we get some help back in the secondary/ at coverage LB -
I think it's clear that Zach Wilson is a bust

Jets would be scary with a competent qb so thank goodness they’ve gotta let it play out with Zach Wilson He didn’t do anything against us really…they just picked on our backup linebacker all game long. -
I think people have been hearing the whole ‘injuries are no excuse’ mantra for years and take it a bit too literally these days lol. Edmunds may not be elite but the falloff from him to Bernard/Dodson is massive and we’ve had those guys in for Milano or edmunds for three straight weeks now. Couple that with missing a great pass rusher like Rousseau and two starting safeties the last few weeks and two starting corners and you can easily struggle against any team let alone a team with justin Jefferson. bernard/Dodson have been getting absolutely victimized if it was more like ‘we lost edmunds and his backup played ok’ and we still got demolished then I’d be a bit more concerned.

The Vikings had to go perfect on about 5 or 6 improbable plays involving both the bills offense and defense to win that game. Maybe logically you will put the blame on only the fumble because it came last, and I’m not trying to say you’re wrong to do that. but the defense had plenty of opportunities to close out that game earlier also so I find it a pointless exercise to place all that blame on just the offense. If the defense was a little healthier in a comparable way to Dallas’ defense right now, we likely would’ve blown Minnesota out.
-
‘Cost us the game’ is such a meaningless semantical argument. The offense wasn’t good and could have won the game if they played better sure; if you want to exclusively blame them you could certainly justify it. but the defense also could’ve stepped up on 1-2 more plays and bailed the offense out too. If edmunds doesn’t go down we win that game easily even with the ridiculous amount of injuries we already had on the defensive side
-
but how many times have they been wrong? Every week right from the opening possession you’ve got 10-20 people posting about how we’re going to lose and how we should fire everyone 😂 cowboys are a lot healthier than us on the defensive side…I think we would’ve had a lot closer to this result if we didn’t lose edmunds and had one or two starters back And the cowboys looked bad against a packers team that we had beat by halftime. So you can’t really play that game
-
Teams are literally just designing their whole offense around picking on edmunds/milano’s replacement when one of them is injured so I think your first point is the understatement of the century 😂 I’m more concerned about the offense…I think the defense is going to be good if they can get a little healthier and great if they can get substantially healthier. same as last year though the offensive line really is struggling at the midway point…they were able to turn it around last season but we’ll see about this year. there really is no flawless team that looks Super Bowl caliber right now to me people seem to be sleeping on the browns with regards to how much us beating them ‘matters’. They are great in the trenches on both sides of the ball
-
I would. Team couldn’t practice all week and had to travel to a neutral site last minute to play a browns team that’s a pretty tough matchup for us missing 4-5 good defensive players and with a qb that’s likely playing through an elbow injury I think everyone is underselling how much adversity that is…a slow first half is more than expected That easily could’ve been a loss for any team no matter how good they are
-
Beat the browns and the refs pretty comfortably after not being able to practice and having to travel to a neutral site last second missing 4 or 5 all star caliber players on defense and a qb likely playing through an elbow injury. Idk if the refs were trying to make up for almost gifting us a game against Minnesota but my goodness. A better game from the refs and that is an absolute blowout
