People seem to be confusing 2021 Beasley with 2020 Beasley quite often around here

The 1 seed is seeming less important than it originally appeared with some of the best rosters in the AFC on paper in the preseason being total flops. Chargers, broncos, colts, will likely all not make the playoffs. (Two of those definitely will miss 😂). Someone like the pats or jets is gonna sneak in as the 7 seed If we can win the division (definitely not guaranteed at this point) we’ve got tiebreakers over Tennessee and baltimore for seeding purposes and we wouldn’t see kc until the afc championship. Tennessee gave the chiefs serious issues last time even with Malik Willis playing terribly so there’s no guarantee the chiefs roll right into the afc championship game.

The nfl is the ultimate overreaction sport because there’s only one game each week 😂. The Vikings were crowned ‘definitely a contender’ after getting objectively pretty lucky against us and the cowboys were written off after losing to the packers then look what happened the next week lol i do love the ‘we’re doomed if we have to go to kc’ talk when we were a defensive meltdown/unlucky coin flip away from being 3-0 in our last 3 at arrowhead

What I’m seeing is teams really picking on Bernard/Dodson when one of edmunds or Milano isn’t playing. That’s pretty much all the jets did and most of what the Vikings did in the second half after edmunds went down. If those two guys get healthy come playoff time you’re looking at a completely different defense imo. Also missing Rousseau has clearly hurt the pass rush…he’s been an animal this season a relatively healthy defense would be MUCH better than this. Even so, Cleveland has a top 5 offense in ypg and people are treating it like Houston went up and down the field on us for some reason

I think people are really sleeping on how good Cleveland is in the trenches. Brissett has been playing well for them all year too. Our win over them seems around here to not only be viewed as meaningless but it seems to have somehow flipped the other way and is being viewed as a negative? Cleveland is the exact type of team that could give us issues. Detroit has a great offensive line also but their defensive line is nowhere near as good as the browns. I also don’t think Goff will be able to hit on even half those difficult throws brissett made on Sunday.

You lost me at ‘if they even make the playoffs’ lol chargers loss last night actually helped them with the ‘making the playoffs’ situation.

Yea and the other teams youd argue for that title we have already played most of this year. we played one of them last week without our second best pass rusher and it looks like he’ll be ready to go this week

It’s really impressive the bills are 7-3 with all the injuries we’ve had before you even get to the fact that josh is likely playing hurt. A couple role player wrs being out for kc is nowhere near the same thing as what we’ve been dealing with especially when you factor in that they still have Kelce and their offensive line has been much better than ours. we invested in the defense to help out josh and they have been absolutely decimated by injuries.

Lol I can get behind a more general point that they’re not as good as their record indicates and they’ve been getting pretty lucky hitting on a bunch of improbable gamechanging plays. I severely doubt they miss the playoffs though 8 wins is a lot in the nfc right now…two of those teams in the playoff picture are gonna cool off much faster than the Vikings imo and the Vikings are already 1 and 2 games ahead of them (giants,Seahawks) and that only comes into play if some kind of miracle happens and an nfc north team catches them somehow

I think there’s this notion floating around that the lions offense is way better than the browns but it’s really not true. cleveland is 4th in the league in ypg and detroit is 6th so pretty similar. Not to mention brissett was excellent yesterday in a way that I don’t think Goff is even capable of. The ball placement on some of those throws in tight coverage was really impressive Detroit is basically Cleveland with a worse defensive line and we get a full week of practice this time

I can understand only focusing on the playoff game because it was the most important, but the bills defense did as good a job as anyone slowing down mahomes in the last two regular season games. I feel like that should be worth at least something.

He’s certainly not TJ watt level good by any means, but missing edmunds ends up being as impactful as when the Steelers are missing TJ watt because Dodson and Bernard are just so bad lol. The falloff between milano/edmunds and those guys is massive. I’d love to see a yards allowed comparison between when we have edmunds/milano and when we’re missing 1 or both of those guys. It’s gotta be pretty comical. we are kind of trapped in the nickel when we’re missing edmunds or Milano because I can’t even fathom Dodson and Bernard being on the field at the same time. I can’t imagine Klein not being a better option

I think bad weather will hurt Miami a lot more than it’ll hurt us…tua can’t really throw an out in normal conditions let alone in wind

Northeast weather could be a big advantage vs Miami…they don’t run the ball particularly well and tua doesn’t have a lot of arm strength to throw in the wind. The jets we should really be beating in any situation…if edmunds and Milano play I don’t see us losing that one. NE I’m not sure what to think about. Their running game seems pretty average this year I think we picked up klein so we can run some 4-3 without 2 godawful linebackers being on the field if one of edmunds/Milano is injured. Teams just pick on whoever is forced into a starting role when edmunds or Milano is out. Easiest gameplan in the world. Dodson and Bernard have been atrocious. even so Wilson barely cracked 150 yards against us. with edmunds and Milano healthy we have a completely different defense. Jets would not have cracked double digits with those guys out there

We didn’t get those calls today that’s for sure 😂. Seemed like they were trying to make up for that gabe catch at the end of regulation they didn’t review last week. Browns got away with murder all game and we got a ton of ticky tacky calls against us seems like the chiefs always have the calls going their way every game

Not that we are ones to talk but it’s pretty crazy they have only won one Super Bowl with that team…goes to show ya how hard it is

Today wasn’t as bad as the refs bailing them out in the ten game but that’s not saying much because the ten game was so bad 😂

Why are we assuming they are gonna play the same as two games a week and two weeks agoafter our qb sustained an elbow injury and we were missing a lot of good defensive starters

Miami has a brutal stretch comin up…we’ll see how it goes for them through that. @SF @LAC @BUF in a row is pretty tough feels pretty similar to what happened with NE last season where they had a bunch of easy matchups in a row just the way the schedule worked out then sh*t hit the fan at the end of the year

I really think people are underselling how bad the injury situation has been…a lot of those games are easier wins than they appear. not to mention a majority of those division games are at home. I would not at all bet on it but it is certainly possible they win out. Kc and buffalos performances vs cincy could decide the whole thing I’m also not sure winning out will even be necessary…kc could drop one or two more
