The 3-0 in the playoffs is obviously true on paper but extrapolating that into evidence the chiefs have our number or something is a bit misguided imo and I think their fans are likely starting to realize that deep down 😂. Whoever won the OT coin toss was winning that 13 seconds game without a doubt, and the last meeting the injury situation between the two teams was completely lopsided. Heck the injury situation in this one was somewhat lopsided compared to who the bills will have available come playoff time and the chiefs still lost. They have a bunch of injuries too but guys like rice and Hollywood brown very likely aren’t returning

That run commitment pays dividends even if the runs get pretty quickly stopped consistently. The chiefs pass rush really never got in a rhythm, they had a pretty bad night considering we were down a RT. It opened up a lot of those quick outside screen type plays, made them pretty susceptible to play action(despite josh blowing the big play we still hit on a couple) I think brady was really confident in the third and medium plays he was drawing up too it was pretty shocking how open guys were on a bunch of those. if we came out throwing a lot more often I think the pass blocking probably would’ve started losing ground against that chiefs dline as the game went on.

Bills Exposed 2023 Eagles and Now, 2024 Chiefs

Man idk…I think there’s a huge difference between last years chiefs Super Bowl team and the previous chiefs Super Bowl teams. Last year they were the healthiest team come playoff time and it was enough to skate by. The dolphins and bills defenses were absolutely ravaged by injuries the 2020 chiefs offense would’ve dropped 50+ on both without even having to work too hard. People are bending over backwards trying to convince everyone this chiefs offense is still extremely dangerous just wait for them to turn it on and it hasn’t really happened over a big time sample size now. Its a little bit harder for the defense to carry them this year with no sneed too they get a bit exposed on a lot of their infamous blitzes. Still a dangerous team for sure I wouldn’t say they’ve been ‘exposed’ but they are objectively not as talented as they’ve been in the past parity has really beaten them up a bit…I don’t think they’re sitting alone in their own tier anymore even come playoff time. -

Pretty crazy the chiefs biggest 3 games left are against the top 3 defenses in ppg allowed lol -
Man this is crazy pretty much everyone in the bills wr orbit has been hurt. Diggs and Davis left and were replaced by cooper eventually and Coleman/samuel and literally every player in that equation missed significant time or tried to play through an impactful injury 🤣

This is all reasonable…that’s why it’s so huge he made it back early and they’ll have some time together going into the playoffs

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh yea he should’ve made it for sure but mahomes could’ve made his life easier. There’s no way Reid benched him over that is the context I was bringing that up in Where in that article does it say that play impacted worthy’s playing time at all? That was what I was objecting to in your post. He led the chiefs wrs in snaps. If anyone had unexpectedly low snaps it was Hopkins honestly. He should’ve made the play but mahomes could’ve made his life a bit easier so there’s no way he was benched over it -
We’ll never know obviously but I’m on the other side of that one haha that drive was like pulling teeth literally nothing was easy that throw wasn’t even that much lower percentage than the throw to diggs if Dawkins holds up an extra split second it was a pretty easy pitch and catch with no one around to make a big hit as the ball got there

I wonder if we’d roll with three linebackers against teams like the ravens when Milano returns. We seemed to try it a bit against them that first meeting but morrow was pretty much useless

This Sunday kind of proved everything wrong with Lamar and everything right with Josh imo. Lamar plays amazing until they hit a huge game down the stretch then he does a vanishing act. Josh might not dunk on abysmal teams to the extent that he could and usually hits a bit of a rough patch midseason but he is pretty much always on fire against the great teams later in the season
-
A bit hyperbolic on point 2 but if he’s talking about only somewhat recent games he’s not really wrong. Josh had an awful game against the chiefs a few years back. AFC championship he wasn’t great either but he wasn’t the problem
-
Even if it was no Bernard and we were down to someone other than aj klein I think we win pretty easily. Benford missed the game too we seem to always be out our best corner against them in the playoffs it is bizarre

Reid said he benched worthy? Haha I have to see this because he certainly didn’t bench him for any meaningful amount of time and a rewatch of the game/ snap count sheet is immediate proof it was just as much a bad throw by mahomes as it was a bad play by worthy…he really shouldn’t have been forced into dragging his feet on an absolutely wide open completion to begin with which im sure Reid knows -

I think he still got around 60% of the snaps and led the wrs in snap count percentage so that cannot possibly be the case lol the wrs were pretty ineffective across the board so the chiefs tried a lot of different things Worthy is on the field a good amount and really isn’t contributing much -
Is the "new" Curtis Samuel here to stay?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Samuel is a proven commodity in the league so I’d think so…he definitely deserves benefit of the doubt this isn’t like a Deonte harty expecting him to take off when playing with Josh type situation- 102 replies

Coleman was making plays in tight coverage against the opponents top cb without cooper even being on the field so it’s a bit of a different vibe for me at least. We’re also a lot more rational with Coleman around here than people are with worthy/the chiefs it seems lol so the standards are different. Nobody is saying Coleman is going to be the next elite wr in the league yet but some are talking up worthy like that after last night despite him completely disappearing after defensive adjustments pretty interested to see the all 22, seemed like we played a lot of man which mcd rarely does if he doesn’t like the wr matchups so that’s pretty telling if true -
It’s so ironic lol people have been begging him to make smarter decisions with his body and when throwing the football for years and now he’s doing both and people still complain 🤣
-
Slowing down enough to slide without taking a hit is pretty tough when you’re running full speed…he hasn’t physically lost anything lol he’s just picking his spots better for the most part to avoid taking hits on plays like what you’re describing with a late slide the defender is very likely getting a big free shot in where Josh can’t really protect himself so the slide comes earlier than it seems like it has to I really think this is a good thing and the hand injury in week 1 finally got through to him. With huge games on the line you’ll still see vintage Josh like his big time run at the end of the game

I’m pretty unimpressed still…the guy had a chance to be the feature wr before they brought in Hopkins and pretty much failed the test. It felt like the bills played a lot more man than usual and no way they’re able to do that if worthy was any kind of serious threat especially with Hamlin in one of the safety spots since he’s not the fastest guy worthy was mostly just the beneficiary of the bills defense focusing on other guys and was pretty easily taken out of the game when we adjusted.
