Yep shouldve done that haha had a busy September/October though. This one felt perfect cuz getting sick from compromising my immune system with alcohol in a huge crowd of people couldn’t have ruined any major holidays 😂 -

Was debating going and this swung me to no…bummer -
What advanced stats? Net points were first in the AFC, DVOA were third in the league and so on without even having healthy Amari cooper for much of the year and Milano returning soon. I think we’re being overly critical of that ravens game when the defense was completely ravaged and no Shakir if our defensive lineup ever gets that shorthanded down the stretch I think a lot of us won’t feel as optimistic but with Milano returning and cooper healthy again this team is pretty stacked

I’m not saying they’re a threat to us im saying they’re more of a threat than SF is who is no threat to us 🤣. Who has that amazingly talented SF team beaten. Jets pats seahawks(lost the rematch) cowboys bucs. Seahawks win was pretty decent but they split people talk about the dolphins like they’re absolute clowns but they’re a pretty competent team is where the underrated comment is coming from. I was told ‘they’re awful just look at their record’ leading up to that rematch and they played us pretty tough because they’re pretty good -

Dolphins with tua have gotta be the most underrated team on this board haha. By this standard where close losses are pretty much a win they’re 5-1 with tua with their only loss being that first meeting with Buffalo. I don’t think they’re a good example of ‘meh team that almost beat us’ and they have outperformed SF with tua in the lineup. For whatever reason this board just gives no respect to teams we beat and the same will happen with SF 😂. Leading up to the game it’s all ‘watch out they’re loaded with talent’ then after it’ll be ‘meaningless win SF is garbage’ -
Nick mullens was worse than Daniel jones starting for a stacked offense in SF when jones was starting for the horrendous giants imo. They’re both bad sure but there’s varying degrees lol can’t even imagine how bad mullens would’ve been on that giants team of the last few years josh johnson is absolutely horrendous

The extra 69 dollars is so random lol. How do they come up with this stuff. Could’ve just kept it 14k -
Bobby Babich to call Bills' Defense
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
This makes 0 sense to me. You think he’d give up playcalling duties to a guy he didn’t think was qualified so he could fire the guy if/when he didn’t do a good job? Lol that makes his seat much hotter than if he just did the job himself and got pretty good results My guess is mcd was so busy with the defense last year that he lost a bit of a handle on the ‘force feeding Diggs to keep him happy’ situation under Dorsey and he stepped back from defensive playcalling to not let something like that happen again. Definitely wouldn’t have done it if he didn’t trust Babich. the offense changed dramatically once Dorsey was out, diggs immediately got pissed off, and the team was much more successful. -
2 of those divisional losses were to the chiefs which could’ve easily been the afc championship quality wise though so I don’t read into that point a whole lot. first point about Phil rivers was spot on though he had a great game. If Allen/gabe Davis didn’t step up that could’ve easily been a loss
-
Lions colts could be intriguing. Rooting for a dolphins loss is always good too lol

Chiefs sign former Pro bowl OT Humphries

Wanya Morris kinda sucks but humphries coming off a knee injury can definitely be worse lol -
I think 14 wins gets the #1 seed.

Only one of those division games is on the road so I think an upset would be pretty unlikely. We seem to always struggle at MetLife and got that one over with at least -
Yea plenty of ifs/missed chances by both teams. People are only talking about the plays the chiefs missed but we missed quite a few too. I think our gameplan changes a lot if Spencer brown plays too seemed like we were running a lot to slow their pass rush down if that 4th and 3 play was just a turnover on downs we would’ve had much better field position for the defense, missed the wide open shot to Morris, missed a few wide open throws. If we were 1/1 on 4th down the game would’ve felt a little closer to me but we rolled the dice twice and were successful once which is pretty normal.
-
Falling off that much missing one corner that’s not your lockdown guy is a depth issue and not an excuse imo. Odds are pretty good you’re gonna be missing a defensive player or two of that caliber. What gets real unlucky is when one of your super important players is one of those several guys injured or if you take a bunch of injuries in one position group
-
They didn’t really transform into a completely different team imo I just don’t get where that take is even coming from feels kind of like massive cope to me about the chiefs chances this year. Dropping mid 20s in points against the injury ravaged bills and dolphins defenses then completely shutting down Lamar and beating the ravens with 17 points wasn’t far off from how they were winning regular season games. lol I think there’s different tiers of ‘injury excuses’…the chiefs missing a corner that’s not even their best and getting exposed in the secondary is exponentially different than the bills losing so many linebackers that aj klein who had been chilling at home for months had to cancel a family rv vacation to start at MLB and missing their best corner on top of that. Literally not even debatable. just imagine a full strength bills team going against the chiefs down mcduffie,Bolton, tranquil and an extra linebacker of your choice and ask yourself honestly how that playoff game would’ve gone because that’s the chiefs equivalent of what happened to the bills 😂 wouldve been an absolute slaughter. Calling Milano/bernard/benford etc average players is pretty laughable. Terrell Bernard got all pro votes and Matt Milano was an all pro lol

Terrel Bernard Defensive Player of the Week!
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Willingness to really dig in and study the game seems so undervalued by everybody haha I’d take a guy like that over somebody with all the physical tools that doesn’t do a lot of that any day it’s really pretty amazing there are guys that have that drive still after basically giving up their entire childhood to football -
Especially football with one game eliminations Lol the chiefs got away with like 10 obvious face masks and were holding like crazy too the fact that chiefs fans think a ‘let both teams play’ type game is them getting hosed by the refs speaks volumes. The refs definitely let a good amount go both ways I honestly can’t think of any huge unfair officiating issues in any of the bills chiefs games no matter who the winner was which frankly is kind of amazing given how bad refs are normally 🤣

Whoever started this thread didn’t hear the totally true story about Andy Reid losing huge regular season games on purpose lol
-
They’ve been unbelievably lucky for years I just can’t understand it other than Andy Reid sold his soul to the devil when he was on the doorstep of getting fired from his second team 🤣. Every bounce, every questionable call, every opponent injury situation always seems to fall their way. They seem to be paying the piper for the injury luck this year though but traded some future assets to rectify it
-
Those genius plays Andy Reid supposedly saved for the playoffs causing his team to blow the 1 seed and 2 seed in the regular season last year were so outrageously good that they just squeaked by an aj klein led defense lol such a hilarious cope. Bills are as good as the chiefs at minimum…just haven’t had that kc streak of luck in the playoffs yet and chiefs fans are now starting to realize it. Don’t think they’re handling it well 😂
-
3 games is way too small of a sample size to make these comparisons imo. The defense is always a wreck injury wise in the postseason. 13 seconds game we were starting Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson at corner, last year no benford and the Lb room was ravaged. Chiefs would light us up in the regular season under those same circumstances.
-
I still don’t think people realize how ridiculous almost beating the chiefs missing your best corner and with the ghost of aj klein leaving his couch to get all the MLB snaps is lol
-
2-5 in their last 7 against us with a playoff loss will rewrite the script a lot imo if it were to happen
