  1. This is the vibe I get especially because we seem very good at stopping short yardage runs in obvious running situations
  2. I’m pretty convinced the defenders of that hit saw it once and never watched it again lol. It really was egregiously dirty and easily avoidable at minimum. I don’t think anyone likes when guys are flagged for unnecessary roughness when they start their tackle before they know a slide is coming but that isn’t the case here at all
  3. Al-Shaair comes to basically a full stop to adjust his attack angle to account for the slide lol That pic above captures the moment perfectly as Al-shaair was starting his late lunge knowing Lawrence was sliding it was a monumentally dirty play. There are definitely plays where a guy is flying in to make a tackle not knowing a slide is coming that are unfortunate but not dirty. This wasn’t one of them
  4. I’ve gotta see the lions game before I can judge how bad it is. To me that’s a game where you want to load up against the run and trust benford to take st brown out of the game without a ton of help ravens ran all over us but they have ran all over pretty much everybody and we were missing a ton of guys. You’ve gotta worry about Lamar getting to the edge too so that makes stopping the run up the middle tougher. Goff is a little different than that 🤣
  5. Niners are tougher for them than most because McDaniel is essentially an off brand Kyle Shanahan lol Shanahan is extremely familiar with everything they’re gonna throw at him
  6. He’s 100% getting suspended lol if that’s your basis for when a player is dirty then you’re arguing the wrong side 😂. I believe he also choked out Tom Brady and punched a bears player that wasn’t even in the game haha the guy has had previous issues Obviously you’re entitled to your own opinion I’m not trying to change your mind here, but I think a lot of players, coaches and fans lost a ton of respect for Demeco Ryans today and I was just trying to show the other side of it. Some of what he said was good but he really should’ve cut the ‘the jaguars overreacted to it’ bit 🤣. Don’t think demeco made too many friends today id honestly be a little bit worried about Stroud now if I was them
  7. I don’t see how that’s relevant to this situation honestly…I can follow you on the it’s a calculated risk that you’re gonna get hit by someone who physically can’t pull up in time. 100% with you there. But to me al-shaair once he sees Lawrence is going to the ground nearly stops to readjust his attack angle so he can lay the wood on him while he slides. That should never ever happen. If he can adjust his hit like that he could easily avoid elbow dropping the qb in the head lol Has the vibe to me like he was frustrated he didn’t close in time and gave up the first and took it out on Lawrence.
  8. Yea I am just plain baffled…I think people have a bone to pick with the whole sliding process in general…what they’re describing definitely happens some plays and it sucks for both parties involved but this particular play did not look anything like that to me.. Al-Shaair EASILY could’ve avoided causing that hit he wanted Trevor to think twice next time he ran the football for sure. I don’t know that the primary goal was to injure that’s impossible to say, but if he was trying to that’s exactly how it would’ve looked 🤣
  9. I just don’t see it…doesn’t even look like he’s closing at anywhere near full speed when he comes into the frame. I’d be a little more accepting of his actions if that was the case. Looks like the lightbulb goes off when he knows Lawrence is gonna slide and he’s thinking he’s gonna teach him a lesson and lunges at him. He almost comes to a stop right when Lawrence starts his slide to line up a better hit imo. If he was flying in out of control full speed id understand it a little
  10. I don’t think he came into the game thinking that lol that’s not what I said. I’m certain he wanted to send a message on that particular play though to aggressively dissuade trevor from converting third downs with his legs and he went very very overboard
  11. Al-shaair literally looked like he lowered his body a bit to line up the headshot lol getting out of the way was very possible. I see tacklers jump over the qb there consistently he really wasn’t even running full speed before lunging this portrayal that he was on a collision course before knowing Lawrence would slide feels very inaccurate to me
  12. I don’t buy that in this particular case but everything you said I have definitely seen in other situations. Al-Shaair looked like he repositioned himself/shuffled his feet to get a better hit on a sliding Lawrence it was pretty gross. Felt like he was trying to send the message ‘maybe slide behind the first down line next time or I’m gonna destroy you’. Don’t think he meant to injure him but he definitely meant to get a free shot in on a sliding qb and make it as hard a hit as humanly possible.
  13. Dirty play…he had plenty of time to at least somewhat pull up and at the very least not freakin elbow drop a sliding qb. Demeco defending him in that press conference sounded like an absolute clown and I’m sure they made a lot of enemies
  14. Pretty ironic because clowns like collinsworth are the only reason these great bills players go mostly unheralded.
  15. I was trying to help you out but didn’t post in time 😂
  16. It’s the record from the point we lost two consecutive games until the end of the season added up each year I think…if that makes more sense lol so last year for example we lost to cincy then Denver then went 6-1 to finish the year. The year before that we lost to jets then Vikings then finished 7-0. 2021 we lost to pats then bucs and finished 4-0. 2020 we lost to titans then chiefs then went 9-1 (lost on the hail Murray). So over that four year stretch we were 26-2
  17. The chiefs are a statistical freak show, their record in one score games is a crazy outlier, their turnover differential is pretty bad, their qb stats are pretty good not great, their net points is pretty bad given their record, they are 12th in DVOA which would tie the 07 giants as the lowest ranked DVOA team to win the superbowl in at least the last 13 years if they were to pull it off (11 out of the last 13 winners were ranked 8th or better, one was ranked 10th and I haven’t found the numbers from further back than that) that supposedly horrendous chiefs team in the regular season last year that apparently turned it on for just the playoffs was ranked 5th in DVOA
  18. I’ll let out a huge sigh of relief if we stay pretty healthy come playoff time. It’s almost kind of a win/win now, we either stay in the 1 seed race the rest of the way or we can probably rest some starters the last game or two As much as people want to say the chiefs always find a way to win yada yada I am certain if we had any injured LB available over AJ Klein we win that playoff game. He got victimized all night
  19. This is more devils advocate than anything at this point haha but I could see it pivoting pretty hard away from the lions being the team to beat down the stretch. If they drop games to GB and Buffalo the ‘who have they beaten’ talk is gonna get pretty loud I’ve seen it said about us a bit but the detroit schedule also has been pretty light on big time games. They’ve squeaked by Minnesota who I have no idea what to make of, squeaked by Houston missing collins and Diggs, decent win over Arizona but we did that too, and a nice win over GB. They didn’t have a big time measuring stick game this year because the eagles and chiefs weren’t on the schedule and they didn’t play us yet. SF isn’t what they used to be so there just isn’t a lot of opportunity for a huge regular season matchup over in the NFC anymore
  20. If milano doesn’t pick up a bunch of reps down the stretch he’s probably nearly useless for the playoffs. If that game was close we would’ve seen more Dorian I think
  21. It’s crazy rodgers missed no time and they brought in davante adams and they’re still terrible haha the media would’ve probably unanimously called them the best team in the league if they knew before the season started that Adams would end up on the jets
  22. If they would definitely have Jaylen Watson back and 100% healthy I think they’d have a shot but they just have one too many holes imo Their corner depth is so bad that there’s such an obvious spot to pick on and its hard for the defense to carry the offense, and the problems at OT make it hard for the offense to carry the defense last season I don’t think their roster was Super Bowl caliber but they were so healthy down the stretch and other teams weren’t that it ended up catching their talent level up to everyone else
  23. Oh yea and he has every reason to look rusty too. A blowout win was probably exactly what he needed to get as many snaps as possible. If it were closer I wonder if Williams would’ve been out there more
  24. His leg motion looked pretty elite during those snow angels…not sure what’s happening on the qb rushes
  25. Milano looked rusty throughout, pretty cool he got to log a bunch of snaps in a blowout though. Ed Oliver looked pretty bad…idk if this classifies as a conspiracy theory haha but olines seem like they’re getting away with murder this year to prop up offenses. Up until this game every time I looked at Ed he was getting held pretty bad. Not sure if that continued in this one it was hard to tell with all the snow 🤣
