  1. That’s a bit of a goalpost move lol obviously the chiefs have had a lot more success in the playoffs but it has absolutely nothing to do with kadarius Toney. That’s been a poop trade for them so far. I wouldn’t have even given a compensatory 6th for toneys output so far and they traded a 3rd and a 6th in fact it’s looking like the chiefs thinking they can build their wr room around him could be a very big factor in their demise so far
  2. Davis currently has about ten times as many receiving yards in just the bills chiefs divisional game as Toney has in his entire playoff career. if you want to throw Davis’ game against the colts in there too, I don’t think toneys receiving numbers his entire career in the playoffs will ever match those two games from gabe. pretty tough to hold that 13 seconds defensive atrocity against gabe Davis in a game where he had 201 receiving yards and 4 tds lol
  3. It’s based on like nothing too lol Toney really had little to no impact last year. Averaged under 25 receiving ypg on 2 catches in the regular season and 3 catches for 28 yards in 3 playoff games. I think it’s a pretty safe bet he won’t lead chiefs wrs in receiving yards a handful of chiefs receivers tonight looked better than Toney normally does
  4. Did he really help win the Super Bowl? He had one catch in that game where he was absolutely comically wide open that anybody would’ve caught, he had one catch vs the bengals the week prior, and one catch against the jags. three total catches all playoffs for 28 yards and a completely wide open pitch and catch td
  5. This didn’t really strike me as unexpected…if anything the lions should have won by more. The chiefs oline was holding on for dear life pun definitely intended. a lot of teams have defensive lines that will pretty easily exploit the chiefs offensive tackles. jets, dolphins, eagles, pats, bills with von back, bengals, broncos will all give them problems It’s still very early but letting Orlando brown walk is looking like a rare misstep from their front office. The big eye opener for me was I don’t even think the lions played well
  6. They were technically the 2 seed one year but the titans lost their first game after the bye so kc grabbed the home field advantage back… I don’t think they’ve had a single road playoff game in mahomes’ career
  7. Idk they were pretty solid all across the board on the offensive line the last few years. They were a mess tonight in ways that I don’t think being interested vs disinterested really apply
  8. I’m curious what happens to them without a bye/home field advantage in the playoffs though. People talk like the regular season doesn’t really matter and that just isn’t true. They’ve got issues that likely aren’t going away for awhile
  9. Haha yea supposedly I was responding to a chiefs fan talking about previous seasons though. Apparently they’re so good they don’t even need to try in the regular season despite 5 of their 6 division games last year being won by a total of like 10 points 😂
  10. I feel like I watch a different game sometimes lol the chiefs dline was dominant in this one. That’s the only reason the game was close. I don’t think that game made kc any more likely to cave to Chris jones
  11. You think the perpetual one seed who always has a massive competitive advantage with a bye/home field in the playoffs treats the regular season like the preseason? Lol
  12. They still have huge question marks at offensive tackle…that was absolutely insane what they were getting away with today. Chiefs oline should’ve gotten massacred about as much as they did in the Super Bowl vs the bucs
  13. He missed a lot of throws when having to evade pass rushers so I don’t think Kelce is gonna step in and fix all their problems…he will certainly help though no question
  14. I mean to be fair MVS made an all time ridiculous catch that ended up resulting in a td too…so the football gods giveth and taketh lol
  15. I’m not sure it does…the chiefs dline was great without him against a tough lions oline. That unit certainly did their job
  16. Yea seriously…absolutely no way the chiefs oline is getting away with that insane display again. Every team is probably calling the league office as we speak haha. They may have gotten shut out tonight if it wasn’t for that
  17. They have jags at every skill position but TE…it’s pretty lucky they haven’t had a game like this yet imo
  18. No jones and Kelce but nearly unlimited offensive holds and false starts lol look at how badly one hold derailed their final drive and imagine that all game.
  19. Inexcusable decision that likely lost them the game…I don’t care how many superbowl rings he has.
  20. It’s the oline mostly…they just let a serviceable tackle and a good tackle leave inexplicably lol I don’t think just adding Kelce back fixes all the issues everyone always sends all the credit mahomes’ way but that pass blocking was a hugely important component. They’d be getting butchered in the trenches right now if their olinemen weren’t getting away with murder
  21. If the rules applied to his RT I’m pretty confident the lions would win this one lol
  22. Collingsworth talking about chiefs olinemen getting away with murder like they’re just smart players is an all timer collingsworth moment
  23. Did this guy not say he was gonna take a pay cut to keep his weapons not too long ago? Lol what a crock
  24. I don’t want to put words in his mouth but I think he’s comparing on paper going into the season that year to on paper going into the season this year. Like did anyone really know cole was unwashed or John brown was gonna go over 1k receiving yards? I think it’s josh making the receivers more so than the receivers making josh so it’s very possible someone maybe unexpected going into the season is gonna go off this year also.
  25. That’s pretty funny timing…I just saw a video of mike florio saying we could finish last in the division to be fair everyone said the rest of the division caught up to the chiefs last year and they won the superbowl soooo 😂
