Your logic is flawed….they are making these in game decisions with the current opponent in mind. That is my whole point. They’re not gonna say ‘well the chiefs have a good offense so let’s go for this 4th and short on the 40 against the bucs’ lol it’s illogical. Tbs win percentage probably goes way up if we attempted those 4th and shorts. One stop and it’s a ballgame. They’ve got a bottom tier offense but a pretty good defense giants and pats the offense struggles moving the football and the offensive line got pulverized. Tonight was a much better result against a better defense

Tb ran themselves straight out of the game and scored 8 points on complete lucky plays aided by an absolutely blatant push off by evans. Still didn’t have better than a 1/100 shot of winning it despite that

Those ST penalties were absolute killers….we were dominating the field position battle and just throwing it away

Not understandable at all imo…you do what maximizes your percentage of winning the game in question and there was little to no chance the bucs were winning this way I know y’all want to see points and so on and want your qb to throw for 500 yards but if a team wants to run the clock out on themselves you let them every time. I think past emotional trauma is giving the illusion that that game was closer than it was, not so much the actual game itself tampas defense is pretty good one stop around midfield and you completely lose having the clock as your best defender. if the bills oline can hold up like that consistently they’ve got a shot in every game

He won’t…cincy can score on this defense quickly…the bucs basically conceded the game tonight with that long drive and we were like oookay lol. Literally everything went their way, balls bouncing off guys heads, balls getting tipped and caught/picked, boneheaded penalty by Jordan Phillips, and they still just couldn’t move the ball fast enough to win

Every defense can when the clock is on your side…up 6 with 30 seconds left and the opponent has no timeouts and you have a pretty good chance to pin the ball deep is probably 99 out of 100 times a win at the very least y’all just don’t have a handle on the game flow tonight it feels like. Yea if it’s a high powered offense on the other side that can score quickly maybe you take some more risks on offense but it wasn’t

Because Godwin was like 4 feet from catching a Hail Mary that he couldn’t even locate in the air? lol think about the alternative where there’s a good shot we got stopped at midfield once or maybe two times giving the bucs plenty of time to score. If you don’t trust the defense, how the heck does that risk make sense? The clock was our best defender in the second half it doesn’t matter if it’s pretty. Yea that terrible defense forced a quick punt and our offense got the ball back at the 24 lol. there’s been a lot of valid criticisms up to this point but tonight I think people are kind of losing the plot imo. Against the bucs you just don’t risk turning it over at midfield, it takes them far too long to drive down the field. Against the bucs and eagles and such the same decisions will not be made, those teams can score in a hurry. This whole ‘imagine if we were playing the eagles tonight’ is a moot point

That’s an entirely different situation…the chiefs had plenty of time to drive down the field and kick a game winning fg there if the ravens punted. Not even close to comparable. That downvote tells me all I need to know lol being up 1 with a minute left against the chiefs is a teeeeny bit different than being up 6 with 30 seconds left against the bucs.
