Baker played on a team completely out of it that virtually had no reason to win games. dumping a cb in that doesn’t know the playbook yet is insanity…so much of playing good defense is communication/knowing your responsibility

Everyone uses the ‘every team has injuries’ phrase but in reality some injuries are just way more detrimental to the team than others. I heard Bolton was out two months? Not sure if that’s true though. I think he needed surgery were virtually out von while he’s playing in his big a** cast too lol

I’ll give their offense the benefit of the doubt due to burrows injury and so on, but they are one of the worst rushing offenses and one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. Last season,they were one of the best rushing defenses in the league. I really think their defense is gonna get pushed around in this one. I dunno if it’s enough to win, but this is funny enough one of the easier opposing defense matchups we’ve seen this year lol

Idk how saying SF piled up a bunch of yards missing two huge pieces of their offense is a homer take. That’s literally factual information. If we’re hyping up their offense strictly from the SF game shouldn’t it also be fair to nitpick the defense from that game as well? Cincy is also down both safeties from last season one of which is fantastic so I think assuming their defense is gonna be peak 2022 form due to one win is mostly illogical anyway. id be shocked if SF didn’t go over 550 yards with Deebo/Trent Williams playing. Our offensive line is inconsistent but that SF oline is flat out bad when you take Williams out of the equation guaranteed if we had beaten sf last week the ‘we have no chance against cincy’ crew would be falling all over themselves to be the first to post about the guys SF was missing and how the win shouldn’t count the ‘cincy is gonna destroy us the oddsmakers got the spread so wrong’ crew is letting me down man…I thought y’all would push the spread up to 4.5 and I could swoop in and take the bills 😂. Spread has actually gone a half point in buffalos favor recently…I’ve been following closely That’s what surprised me so much about the playoff game…we were mauling their dline on that first drive in the regular season matchup so I expected more of the same. Looked like our guys were on roller skates in the playoff game like they all made horrible footwear decisions or something lol

Mentally and physically depleted lol we had pretty much no one in the trenches on defense in that one…it more than offset them losing a few offensive linemen. I think the only reason we were picked by a majority of the experts was those offensive line injuries for cincy.

I don’t think non bills fans/ the handicappers are as high on the bengals as bills fans are. Yea they have started slow before but their team has a lot more obvious deficiencies this season than in past years. who knows what’ll happen but I think we’re being a bit too reactionary about their most recent win leading up to the game. not that this means much of anything but the bills have a massive edge in espns fpi vs the bengals. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a betting underdog viewed so favorably by that metric before

When we signed him we thought he had potential…after playing it was clear he did not have potential lol he probably had one of the worst seasons for a guard that wasn’t benched of all time

Welp they reportedly tried very hard to do just that…Chicago’s front office makes no sense though and they were asking for a ton theyre gonna lose him and get nothing in return

They’re eerily similar to us imo but it’s up to peoples interpretation how much stock should be put in that sf game and cincy starting slow could be a trend. to me this is a new year, they let one good and one great safety walk which has knocked their defense down a peg. Can’t really run the football too well either and they let their TE that caused us some problems walk without a viable replacement. Idk that we win but there’s a lot of differences from the last meeting 5 quarters is a stretch…looked like we were in for a shootout in that regular season matchup. We ended up kicking a fg on a 4th and short that obviously we would’ve gone for if we knew the game was ending very early. our oline was mauling them on our one drive in the regular season that’s why the playoff result threw me so badly lol either way we have objectively upgraded in the trenches compared to that playoff roster we were running with

Dolphins game this year, 1st dolphins game last year, chiefs regular season games last two years, ravens playoff game, rams game last year, pats playoff game sorry I’m out of order now cuz these are randomly popping into my head lol Not saying we win and I can absolutely understand the negativity but I think we’ve reinforced the trenches on both sides of the ball quite a bit from that playoff game vs cincy…I think that’s more than a fair statement at the least

Our guys are supposedly overrated bums when we’re predicting the games but suddenly they’re underrated when we trade for a new guy 😂

There are some knowledgeable posters worried that he’s just on a hot streak now that could regress to journeyman level if things don’t go well which is a negative opinion with merit…but some of these other posts look like straight up trolling lol

I think the defense actually might be pretty good in the playoffs lol it’s getting there that may be interesting.

Patrick surtain was getting two firsts+ easily if moved. Denver is fine building around him and would’ve needed a massive deal to move him

They’re getting an early 5th in return and getting a difference maker. Even if he’s just ‘pretty good’ gb kind of got fleeced value wise imo…looks like it was just a salary dump for them.

A 90 overall player for a 3rd round pick would be wild lol you can’t even trick madden into doing that
