  1. I didn’t see much complaining about the refs after the jets game
  2. Then you’re screwing with your recovery schedule from the game you just played…idk why this point is getting ignored. You’ve gotta pick what the best of two kind of bad options is for your team. It’s unquestionably a strategic advantage for the other team by definition. They are already there and don’t have to make that choice I doubt the nfl ever puts a team in that position again. If they want to pull that again it absolutely has to be an away game for the team traveling late…which it would be if they were experimenting to see how a London team would work out the experiment didn’t even make sense, if a London team had all their home games in a row to start/end a season they would, you know, be the home team?
  3. Isn’t that a double edged sword though? Like imagine 4 full weeks of practicing/gameplanning and 4 professional football games then you lose 5 hours of time while preparing for the next game. I’d say it’s BS to say we only lost because of that but to say it shouldn’t have effected them is a little unfair. at minimum those London games should be later in the day
  4. It’s 5 hours on a plane after playing an 60 minute professional football game the weekend before and you lose 5 hours time. Imagine if on daylight savings time you lost 5 hours instead of 1 haha thered be no flight involved in that case and it would still mess ya up.
  5. Scoring 20 with like 0 rushing yards, a bunch of holding penalties, 4 easy completions dropped on third down, and terrible starting field position all game is honestly kind of crazy lol. mcdermott is earning his money imo, that defense hung on without absolute scrubs in for most of the game. That was not an nfl caliber defense out there for most of the game and they still kept points off the board somehow. Elam literally could not guard Ridley and they still kept the jaguars from scoring for a long stretch
  6. Too much $$$$ at stake…they want the game in an exclusive window. Really starting to sour on this league…or continuing to sour on it is more accurate 😂 completely unacceptable making teams play on bad turf on top of concrete from a player safety perspective regardless of everyone’s opinion of jet lag
  7. Most teams are flying there late in the week to keep their recovery/practice schedule as normal as possible. It’s kind of a damned if you do/damned if you don’t situation though. being there for a week prior is an undeniable strategic advantage. even with that though this was a winnable game that we choked away…both things can be true.
  8. Guarantee you they’ll never do that to a team again and we will be the only team ever effected lol they’re lucky one of their household names didn’t get hurt on that terrible field too
  9. I don’t think it’s enough time to truly acclimate leaving Monday anyway after playing a professional football game Sunday so most teams try to stick to their recovery schedule and leave later in the week. these guys aren’t working a 9-5 cubicle job and then flying out for a European vacation lol they’re trying to recover from a straight up battle the week before which seems to be the point that gets overlooked
  10. These are professional athletes at the top of their craft…the margin of error between winning and losing between an average team and a good team isn’t very large. I get what you’re going for but on the flip side of it people that are like ‘I went on vacation in Europe and I wasn’t that tired’ are kind of ridiculous too unless you had 250 pound linebackers chasing you around on your vacation 😂
  11. I’m so angry that goodell literally admitted in an interview that it was an experiment to see if it’s fair that required losing our home game. If you want to give that advantage to our opponent at least have it as an away game if they looked into it somehow and concluded it was a fair way to do things I wouldn’t have had an issue with it
  12. I think they just like to show the losing qb looking dejected on the sideline…I’m sure he was hyping guys up too. if you’re talking about actual play on the field I thought he was pretty good..zero run support and the oline struggled…that’s the kind of game where he has a meltdown and throws three picks normally but he kept battling imo four drops for easy first downs and diggs having a big play wrestled right out of his hands hurt joshs’ stat line for sure
  13. I mean I did it recently and I would say it wasn’t that bad too but I wasn’t playing a high level competitive sport against the best athletes in the world 😂 it was noticeable for the first week id say. You could leave Monday but then it affects your prep/recovery time so you are literally by definition at a strategic disadvantage no matter how you look at it the bigger issue for me is the away team didn’t have to travel at all though like how do you lose a home game and the away team is already there? second big issue is they scheduled that way without knowing if it’s a strategic advantage or not? I could see if goodell was like well we concluded it wouldn’t be an issue. But he said they were doing it to see what would happen? bills are still at fault for losing but the scheduling was crappy… it can be both things lol
  14. Everyone complained about west coast teams traveling east being at a disadvantage for years but somehow a team on their ‘home game’ jumping 5 time zones to meet the away team that was there the week before is out of the question? to me if you’re gonna do an experiment like this at least make it a bills away game
  15. We seem to always have a lot of depth at certain positions but always lose the most important guy from a position without much depth. Absolutely cursed
  16. The hook and ladder play was there for a huge gain they just mistimed the pitch…cook had a ton of room down the sideline.
  17. Ridiculous penalty…receiver fell weird making it look worse than the hit was. We would’ve had great field position after that one
  18. And Leonard Floyd, and Rousseau, and von miller came out down the stretch
  19. Offensive line was not holding up at all…getting those deep throws off at all was impressive enough
  20. Bills would’ve scored 60 on the bills defense today haha I thought the jags offense was pretty bad honestly shooting themselves in the foot on quite a few occasions vs a barely nfl caliber defense. the fact that that was an 11-7 game late was absurd
  21. Lol it’s clearly under thrown but an impressive enough play given the circumstances. No one is telling you the throw was perfectly on target but when he’s dancing around in a collapsing pocket to buy enough time to make that play you’ve gotta give him some benefit of the doubt I think most of it is negative bias where he hits a deep throw in stride and people just take it for granted and when one is slightly off target it seems like he’s missing them all
  22. Daboll is beside the point now? I literally only replied because your post was comparing the two of them lol which is the only reason the elbow comment came up…any coach in the league would trade one extra year of development for that qb to not have a ucl tear. I just massively disagreed with the ‘well Dorsey has had an easier time because josh is older’ comment
  23. What is Dorsey supposed to do in a game like this? Suit up and catch wide open passes on third down? They were all over the run, all over the short throws, offensive line was collapsing before the deeper routes could develop, tons of holding calls wiping out big plays. Field position was terrible all game because while the defense fought admirably given the circumstances the jags were marching up and down the field and the only way we stopped them was forcing turnovers near the red zone We just didn’t make the easy plays that were there or that’s a much different game…the execution was terrible
  24. All execution imo…jags have a tough defense. Can’t be dropping balls when you’re getting bad field position all game and your offensive line is not allowed to block without getting flagged we are once again giving our opponent 0 credit.
  25. It’d be cool if the refs can bail us out when we have a bad game against a mediocre team like they do with kc…of course to us they do the exact opposite and make the game harder for us 😂. Kc just sneaks by bad teams quite a few times per year the only time I can remember us getting a sketchy call late was against the rams in that game where the rams made a huge comeback. That one felt like a makeup call for their blown int call earlier in the game though
