  1. The ravens blew a nearly perfect day
  2. Dead last in defensive DVOA weeks 5-9. I’ve gotta go through the turnover numbers but we are hardly forcing any and are rarely getting off the field on third down also. our defensive metrics were extremely good prior to week 5 so just looking at the overall season numbers is hardly relevant (if that’s what you’re doing)
  3. That’s kind of a league wide issue this year imo…defenses have been dominating and ours is just missing too many impact players lots of good teams have been winning ugly offensive games this year
  4. They’re a pretty good team…bills and niners with a ton of impactful injuries made them look better than they are. They are just as likely to miss the playoffs as they are to go on a playoff run at this point
  5. Neither look good enough to do anything this year and the bengals have a lot of tough questions on contract extensions coming up I’d lean bills honestly but it’s not likely for either…not because we’re better but because were in a bad division. Ravens are better than the bengals without a doubt and Cleveland seems to have their number also
  6. One of the worst for sure…I’m not even sure it’s debatable. We absolutely nosedived in all the big defensive metrics in that stretch post jax despite seeing almost entirely bottom third offenses. The giants offense is historically horrendous also and it is by the grace of god they didn’t put up 20+ on us. It’s not like it was just the pats game. not saying it should be an excuse for anyone…people can hate whoever they want as much as they want whether it be coaches or players lol. But talent wise we were ‘out’ arguably our 5 best defensive players we focused a lot on the saints for some reason haha so I’ll continue that. Who was our Demario Davis when we played the pats? who was our cam Jordan? Paulson Adebo is playing out of his mind also. We didn’t have anyone in the same zip code of that much talent in that pats game
  7. The defense we fielded that week was probably the least talented group the pats will see all season so it makes sense. All those guys we lost for the season plus Ed oliver and von is essentially out until his cast comes off. the only silver lining from the cincy game is it looks like linval and rasul can definitely contribute quickly
  8. Our defense minus Daquan, Milano, tre white, Ed oliver and with von playing in a big cast is one of the worst defensive lineups in the league. We probably would’ve shut them out with a couple of those guys available
  9. The defense was pretty dreadful post Milano/jones/white injuries until the cincy game…I’m hopin linval and rasul get us back closer to how we started the season. If we had them a few weeks earlier the pats game is more than likely a win and we’d be sitting at 6-3 with the division lead. offenses have been struggling all around the league this season but our d was way too easy to exploit for that stretch of games post jax. The offense has no doubt been bad too but there aren’t a whole lot of teams that are consistently moving up and down the field this year. This has been a really strange season
  10. That’s literally all that line was and it’s pretty obvious lol it also is making me chuckle that people think McDermott just invented the phrase ‘complimentary football’ and it somehow means we don’t want to move the ball as quickly on offense 😂
  11. Oh yea that was undoubtedly a hold but I had hit my bs limit by that point 😂
  12. It really was ridiculous…I’m not trying to say we deserved to win but I have never seen a play like that not called a trip in my life. Then right after a play I have never seen called as intentional grounding is called as intentional grounding 😂 what are the odds
  13. The refs blew back to back to back calls on that one lol. Missed trip was horrible, intentional grounding was horrible, then there seems to have been an insane amount of confusion where neither coach knew the clock was running to close out the half
  14. I have never seen grounding called on an option play like that with the qb under 0 pressure once in my entire life
  15. Nobody knew the clock was running…if anything the bengals got more screwed by referee incompetence with the clock there.. if we lined up to go for it they absolutely would’ve called a timeout
  16. I think division is more likely honestly. This is seeming like a 10-7 or 9-8 type division winner to me
  17. Nice little hold on that one to seal the deal lol play would’ve been stopped short
  18. I’m as impressed with the defense playing like this short handed as I am disappointed in the offense lol
  19. He did not try to hurdle lol he got hit super low and went head over heels
  20. I don’t think there’s much he can do there…he got hit low and ragdolled through the air and there was another bengal there to poke it out
  21. Looked like a bengal might’ve poked it out while Kincaid was ragdolling through the air lol
  22. I mean they’ve been bad but I’d still like to see plain as day trips called lol that was a dangerous as heck play
  23. Horrible decision by them there…Taylor is awful he’s propped up by a ton of talent on offense and a good DC
  24. Obvious hold on diggs there
  25. They’re kind of both true here…I don’t think those two things are mutually exclusive. This could easily be a tie or one score game if the refs weren’t blowing textbook calls…whether we deserve it to be that is another story
