  1. Did all those people pick the chiefs to win? Admitting you’re wrong is super tough most people just double down 😂. the scheming around deficiencies thing is giving me a chuckle…every team has to scheme around deficiencies lol no team is anywhere close to perfect this year
  2. Another important one for sure…can’t take your foot off the gas. Division record could be a big deal and winning this one puts a little bit of pressure on NE to deliver on their division games since they’ve only played 2
  3. This matchup not playing to our weaknesses was completely intentional for the record lol. The team is molded to do exactly what it did today to the chiefs. We’ve had not much of a pass catching threat from the outside WRs for two consecutive seasons now and despite that have the 3 highest offensive point totals against the chiefs among afc teams in that time. (3 of the 4 if you’re counting the total nfl) jags did score 31 but there was a pick 6 in that one
  4. The bills DEs have looked pretty good to me all year…there’s just been so many coverage issues early that really no amount of quick pressure really mattered
  5. He really never does…even in those superbowls where they were getting manhandled
  6. Such a wild week i really thought the chiefs might be in play for the 1 seed if they won the bills game but this loss on top of the 3 they already had feels very significant they’ve gotta worry about falling too far behind Denver head to head and the chargers are 3-0 in the division already and are at worst splitting with the chiefs which is a pretty strong tiebreaker position right now mahomes is gonna get knocked out of his usual ‘save some gas in the tank/limit taking hits for the playoffs’ routine at minimum
  7. I don’t think the offense was perfect and Palmer despite being a good not great player was a big loss imo i wouldn’t put it on Josh but that bullet to a wide open hawes that went incomplete definitely hurt just as one example. Missed the recognition on a few blitzes also not sure if that was a qb or oline thing
  8. It is underratedly hard to outrace parity…some of these teams that overachieve one year just kinda get crushed by the harder schedules/worst draft picks etc
  9. They were kinda lucky to sneak by the dolphins week 3 too but I didn’t even know to be upset about that at the time haha achane had a toe out of bounds on a late go ahead td run
  10. Bills are in good division shape assuming they win the pats rematch… lot of pressure on that game though. the win over the chiefs was huge since the pats are still behind by a conference loss and have the ravens on the schedule. the bills real tough afc matchups are pretty much done but there’s some sneaky ones
  11. Silver lining on if the bills lose the division would be if kc ended up going out to NE in the wildcard round haha what a crazy situation that would be imagine winning the division and your reward is a first round game against Buffalo,Baltimore,or KC 😂
  12. Seems like we got even heavier personnel-wise after that falcons game. I gotta think they were kicking themselves for not trying to run Atlanta straight out of the building. Falcons defense is kind of a chiefs-lite vibe where they’re good in pass coverage and like to send blitzes. defensive improvements seem like they speak for themselves also on top of that haha Hairston definitely looks like he’s got the juice
  13. Was that one of the plays where there were alignment/communication issues? It’s all a blur lol. Not that he hasn’t called a timeout to draw something up that didn’t work before though anyway 😂
  14. I’ve never even done a Madden franchise without a salary cap 😂
  15. Someone else got hammered while still in bounds dancing their way to the sideline earlier today too I’m tryin to remember who it was 😂 Bryce young I think refs threw the flag then picked it up in that other game I’m pretty sure
  16. Just posted it in another post but the chiefs have lost like 4 total regular season 2+ score games in mahomes’ 7.5 year career and 2 of them were to Buffalo 😂 non Buffalo teams have done it like twice out of 110+ tries. If you want to add playoffs it goes up by 2 but the game total goes up by 20+ also
  17. Nothing that close to the bills losing virtually their entire linebacker room a couple years ago and being forced to get essentially a retired vet to cancel his Disney vacation to fill in has happened to the chiefs in the playoffs. Not even sure it’s debatable. Of course that’s just one of the four times though lol benford/rapp getting hurt this past year forcing in absolute clowns was a very bad break and had a huge impact on the game but that’s gotta be a bit of a depth issue too. Losing two DBs definitely shouldn’t cause that big of a falloff. Of course you can’t have great depth everywhere either though so there is a bit of luck involved
  18. This board is such a weird place to me…it’s like we want to play right to a defense’s strengths just for style/pride points sometimes 😂. Definitely could use another wr for sure not disputing that at all but the team is literally built this way to beat the team they just beat the way they just beat them kc defense is probably the best pass defense in the league on the back of great outside cbs and some interesting blitzes
  19. Lol I mean I didn’t mean to call out anyone specific it was just general vibes. Not sure I should have to keep track of when everyone’s accounts were created either 😂.
  20. They were a bit run heavier than people seem to be remembering early and were actually pretty successful moving the ball through the air by comparison. When they had to get one dimensional to stay in the game though things got ugly. even their first drive when down just 12-3 was a run-run-pass three and out. First drive of the game was a run-run-pass three and out as well. Outside of a nice long run on third and medium they weren’t really doing much of anything on the ground and it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The idea that they lost because they were too stupid to run the ball is a bit odd to me.
  21. I think there’s some fans of other teams in here pretending to be bills fans and it’s kinda on full display today. I get that nobody wants to admit their predictions are wrong whether negative or positive but there is some shocking stuff getting posted haha
  22. Pats are honestly givin me commanders energy…I think they’re gonna overachieve one year on the back of an easy schedule then parity is gonna rough them up a bit. Outracing parity is tough if maye lights up Baltimore and they win that game it could def sway me
  23. They got knocked completely off their gameplan when the bills pounded it right down their throat and scored a boatload of points lol the lengths some of y’all go to give the team minimal credit are a bit surprising
  24. This is kinda the goalpost move of the haters tbh…if wins against the chiefs only count if you do better than giving them a Hail Mary final drive opportunity to tie, they probably lose like 2% of their games lol I’m gonna fact check this but I they’ve lost like 4 two score games in the regular season (assuming their starters were playing) in 7.5 years and two of them were against Buffalo 😂 2018 -2020 were 16 game seasons so that’s 125 total games and 2 two score losses against non Buffalo teams. Might need to knock a couple final week of season games off the total when starters weren’t playing If you wanna add in playoffs it doesn’t become any less crazy really…ends up being like 6 in about 146 games
  25. There’s one team that pushes us enough down the stretch fairly often. The other two teams are really bad though yea haha chiefs never have anyone close to the point where you can’t even guess who came in second most years 😂. Caveat though last year the broncos and chargers were solid and the chiefs took care of all their business so no one got close
