  1. There’s no way beane would offer two picks and two players in this situation even if the players were inconsequential. An inconsequential player knows the playbook at least and can get forced into playing due to injury you just never know…he’d never do that midseason. if we don’t end up getting Adams I bet Beane offered a second and didn’t go much beyond that
  2. Yea it definitely wasn’t a deep rooted thing haha and it had nothing to do with how the fans treat their own team
  3. It wasn’t a game he played in…they asked him and st brown who the worst fan base is and adams said bills because of snowballs essentially. It must’ve been a current ish event at the time. Not sure when that podcast aired. Probably pretty close to the dolphins game
  4. For context he was butthurt over the snowball throwing specifically which I guarantee you happened in GB plenty of times while he played there lol I doubt he even remembers saying that
  5. Oh yea I’m not trying to say he doesn’t…maybe going the opposite way with it will illustrate the point better. theres games where we see josh make some mistakes but he’s overall really good and chris simms will be like look at these four plays he’s the best player in football hands down 😂. It’s just better tv that way. Doesn’t mean that Simms can’t run circles around all of us in film analysis he’s just gotta wear that tv personality hat too and it gets pretty grating for me at times even when he’s talking josh up lol florio has that limitation also and knows way less so he’s much worse I don’t think it’s ever as bad or as good as the several plays they pick for analysis makes it look
  6. I wouldn’t say spoiled at all but we do tend to overreact to regular season losses which is a different thing lol
  7. If it was more reasonable of an offer I might believe the no rumor haha but player for player type trades midseason are pretty rare to begin with and on top of that that’s giving up a ton. I don’t think beane would ever offer that
  8. There’s no way that’s true 🤣
  9. Yea I just made a more detailed post about it responding to someone else haha I think if he could devote more time on air to each game it would be different, but it’s just the handful of plays that support their narrative and then the narrative. They are tv personalities too and the narratives are what sells. He knows more about football than I can learn in 5 lifetimes for sure 😂 That’s not really what I was trying to say haha but I mostly agree with you overall. I think they get caught up pushing a narrative on air sometimes cuz it’s good tv.
  10. I definitely don’t full disagree with this by any means but I feel like in the interest of time they don’t tell you the full story and will just show you only what proves their overall narrative and then us as fans overly panic. im sure if simms could sit us all down for an hour and go through a game it would be really informative and the plays that maybe go against his overall game judgement would be analyzed too
  11. Haha I was posting about how simms is an idiot at the same time but florio is absolutely worse 🤣
  12. I’ve always found Simms to be a dolt even when he had his brief bromance with Josh lol
  13. Yea that last part I think pretty much every qb would do…Rodgers did much the same in that Vikings game earlier in the day. He doesn’t have the athletic ability so he ended up throwing balls off his back foot rather than scrambling around but it’s theoretically the same situation
  14. A screen is never ever as open as you are describing lol haven’t watched the plays yet but I think you are probably misdiagnosing some things that was likely a decoy route to hit a deep shot that Houston would’ve rallied to to make the tackle for a minimal gain if we threw the dumpoff seems like we came into it knowing Texans would flood the middle, shorter stuff and had some interesting plays queued up to take advantage. We just missed them all for various reasons…Josh being one of them. It was mostly a slog but the plays were there to win that one criticizing the audible to the deep hollins play/the decision to throw to hollins there was absurd. Josh knew the double move would hit and was 100% correct. Hard to say if it was a missed throw or he was expecting something else as the defender was inside and the ball went outside, but the decision making was spot on
  15. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills on this one haha I legitimately have no idea if this is a pro or anti josh post I’m about to make but he has several games like this one per year often with even better surrounding talent than he has now. anyone being like whoaaa where did this come from is very strange to me. Yea he was bad but he bounces back from games like this literally every season. I guess this is a pro and anti josh post 😂
  16. Idk how wr grades work but there were a lot of gray area plays where they probably put all the blame on josh and none on Mack when it should’ve been pretty even also pff really has no method of grading ‘josh expected Mack to route adjust/find a soft spot so he threw it to that spot and it looked like an inaccurate throw’ type plays. They’re not at practice/in the huddle with these guys
  17. Sounds like a LARP to me personally. Why wouldn’t he rework his deal? Bills would increase his future pay if anything. Also players and picks for a player doesn’t sound like beane at all to me or maybe it’s real and one side is playing hardball
  18. I think winning is a minor part and him going off statistically is the major part if I had to guess lol even with a great boundary receiver I think Buffalo still spreads the ball around which might be what he’s worried about
  19. I can’t take credit for this can’t remember who said it either though unfortunately 😂. But he seems to be telegraphing the PA fakes possibly because his hand is mangled which would be pretty impactful Yea I’m sure Simms is exaggerating a bit haha haven’t watched it yet though…and these talking head/ex terrible qb types never really bring up throwing lanes on short throws either. A lot of times they’ll circle an open looking receiver on the screen and be like LOOK HES OPEN when some mammoth of a man is putting his hands in the qbs face lol
  20. Yea it looked a little more mixed to me…I think the Texans gave the spy that responsibility and he was more focused on taking away Josh getting positive yards running and giving him more time on the rollout right mostly because they trusted their coverage would hold up. Almost bit them in the end but almosts aren’t worth diddly 🤣.
  21. It does feel pretty semantic-y at times…he played bad because he was in a bad situation is still him playing bad and if he was in a better situation maybe he doesn’t play as bad but he did is my in betweener take haha The missed plays are all amplified when the available possible good plays are limited. It’d be happening with mahomes’ weeks 1-4 now too but they’re winning anyway because their defense is stupid good 😂
  22. I agree about the bad part but I don’t think either of those teams did a particularly good job stopping him from rolling right to buy extra time to the point where it very nearly lost Houston the game. Can’t remember who it was maybe Coleman but he came back towards Josh from the back of the end zone on one of those post Houston fumble plays, the defender slipped and then made a great effort getting back into the play. those roll right scramble drill type plays are rehearsed and aren’t ALWAYS bad. A lot of our biggest plays come from doing that. But yea if he could’ve spent a considerable more time in the pocket and bailed early that’s absolutely bad teams really should be forcing him left the end of that game was like inches from ‘see what happens when you let Josh roll right’ and now it’s ’the guy can’t do anything when he rolls right’ 🤣
  23. Idk what the heck is going on with this board about the Kincaid catch lol. He 100% didn’t take a timeout right after and it was a 3rd down play so it literally would not have made sense to. They could’ve taken a delay deciding if he wants to challenge his decision to not blow a timeout on the challenge was validated when his offense got the ball back with three timeouts instead of two with very limited time in the half.
  24. I still don’t get this specific ‘bad josh’ take though lol. He was pretty bad for a big stretch of last year and has a couple games like that Houston one every year. none of this was new
  25. I really thought they were gonna lose this one because they decided to force a ball to diggs which would’ve been pretty great haha that would definitely be better though I think when qbs get pressured a bit they lose confidence in the oline then start pressing and it throws them all out of whack. He might’ve played bad because the oline let him down a few times early but it’s still pretty justifiable to say he played bad
