  1. I’ve never seen a team more consistently good against bad/mediocre teams which they def deserve credit for. On the flip side they just have nearly 0 success against good/great teams and the sample size is only getting bigger. They had the 3rd worst point differential against playoff teams in the league this year and were 1-5. It’s honestly crazy they were +105 overall despite being -91 against playoff teams. Last year they were 2-5 and both those two wins felt pretty fluky the ‘no tua’ excuse they used for a couple of those games last year is seeming less valid because bridgewater really didn’t play any worse against good teams like cincy and Minnesota than tua would’ve it seems
  2. If it’s unlikely they’ll beat the bills twice in a row I just don’t see how they make it out of @kc @bal. They seem to be much better at home too and we’re not great on the road. I think seeing us again in Miami was bad odds for them but their best odds at the same time lol. The name of the game is def avoiding Baltimore as long as possible
  3. Those are things non amped up josh does pretty frequently lol I think we’re gonna have to agree to disagree here. The telltale sign for me is Josh bailing clean pockets/overthrowing easy completions and I just didn’t see any of that
  4. A couple people have said that so maybe it’s me lol but Allen looked like he was in control and not really forcing anything all night to me. Whoever you want to blame for the first int it wasn’t josh taking a crazy risk it was just a route mixup on somebody’s part. second int looked like he was pressing but it was 4th down so I’d kind of expect that. He seems to miss a lot of easy throws high when he’s too amped up and I don’t think we saw any of that really
  5. I feel like that’s been a little less true these days than years past. Defense hung in there despite the offense straight up pantsing itself a lot of the first half 😂
  6. Secondary was hitting hard all game…dolphins receivers made some nice plays hanging onto the ball most of the way Idk how banged up tyreek could’ve been if he’s attempting standing backflips during end zone celebrations lol
  7. The jump may have got it honestly that was realllly close. It may have been a tiny amount short but the spot was bad regardless
  8. Brady spanked fangio all game imo we were just dreadful executing in some big spots early.
  9. If sherfield isn’t far above Davis in the passing game I think Davis will be missed…he’s a good run blocker. Our rbs averaged 2.91 ypc tonight
  10. It’s a crapshoot either way but I’ve gotta go dolphins because a path to the afc championship of pit then Cleveland/Houston is just too good. Chiefs defense ain’t terribly far behind Cleveland and I’d much rather see Flacco than mahomes
  11. Maybe I’m alone but I never really got the impression that Miami was gonna win this one. That jets game we gave up 170+ rushing yards, denver won top by like 15 minutes, pats were in control all game until a late fumble and they actually outgained us by 10 yards. Tonight just felt like we were beating Miami’s a** and they were just lucky to be in it honestly it was pretty much the Skylar Thompson playoff game all over again with tua back there
  12. Miamis gotta be headed for total rebuild in a couple years imo…that Shanahan system is high floor but pretty low ceiling and it just isn’t fooling the better defensive coaches in the league. They’re gonna lose some pieces if they decide to resign tua and really need a way to come up with elite defensive play but Howard is on the downswing and they got von millered with that Bradley Chubb knee injury.
  13. I don’t think that Shanahan offensive scheme is fooling the better teams and it requires a lot of absurdly fast guys on offense. They’re headed for a rebuild in a couple years imo unless they can come up with elite defensive play.
  14. Allen is like unquantifiable at this point lol. Everyone’s like well if he didn’t turn it over as much we’d be winning then he makes a handful of impossible plays and ends up more than redeeming himself seemingly every game 😂. That INT in ot of the Vikings game last season is really the only time I can remember him blowing a game late or even not leading the bills on a game tying/leading drive when there was an opportunity
  15. That’s a 13 win season at least if we had at least one of a tre white level cb,Matt Milano, Daquan jones and whoever the heck else I’m forgetting for that jags to broncos game stretch. Ed Oliver can get included in that in the pats game. Douglas was a huge addition but he was probably still getting acclimated in the broncos game
  16. I think a lot of those calls are rpos and he’s playing them very cautiously to avoid an incompletion which is how I’d play it
  17. Getting hunt back seemed to really stabilize their oline and they had armstead playing which is kind of lucky for them at this point 😂. The defensive injuries seemed to hurt them a lot more than the offense I think. their offense is just getting figured out by the better DCs
  18. People know more X’s and O’s than me certainly but cover 0 there with the defender boxed out if he curls I think it was all on gabe the way I saw it. The ball looked like it would’ve hit Gabe right in the numbers if he just turned around rather than darting off right
  19. Everyone’s role involves that but Gabe seems to misinterpret his route adjustments or Josh misinterprets what Gabe is supposed to do far often than any other receiver
  20. Despite Miami blitzing early and pretty often I think the oline did a pretty good job tonight…didn’t feel like the constant pressure up the middle we saw against the chargers and pats to me
  21. I mean your opinions are all warranted obviously but I think this thread start was an equal and appropriate reaction to some of the outlandish negative stuff in the gameday thread to be fair haha the line from fair criticism to absolute shenanigans gets crossed every few minutes in those things 😂
  22. I do think it’s hard to just separate the attempting risky throws/attempting big plays and still get the good josh we all love though. The picks tonight didn’t really fit that mold anyway but most of them seem to. Tonight felt like takin a shot on 4th down and a route mixup
  23. Idk that that was a full fake…maybe. It struck me as a ‘if you get this look snap the ball’ type situation but I could def be wrong
  24. Miami got outcoached handedly in this one even when we were losing imo
  25. They’ll leave them haha I’ll give them props for that. But they’ll spew the same stuff next week too 😂
