  1. Their offensive lineman depth is horrendous. 1 serious offensive line injury which is pretty likely for any team and their season is over I mean it’s only one more game without tua cuz their bye is this week IF he comes back week 8. The game is against the colts too so not a super impossible one
  2. Is tua not on track for a week 8 return anymore? +750 for the dolphins seems like an interesting value bet. I think I’d take that before the jets +310
  3. Idk I think we’re seeing up and coming coaches pick their spots better recently because if you jump into the wrong situation and get fired the odds you’re getting a second chance are pretty low. Guys seem to be waiting for the jobs they want to open up rather than rushing into a bad situation Yea idk if Rodgers was involved at all but it’s easily explainable that firing their head coach before making any offensive coordinator moves did not go over well with players and they were headed for full blown mutiny there’s this weird assumption that all the players were probably happy to see Saleh go because of one vague quote made by one player in a press conference who may have been talking about the oc not holding Rodgers accountable anyway sauce said ‘we’re still doing this for Saleh’ when asked about it so I think a lot of players on that defense really liked him
  4. The raiders are gonna milk it as long as they can I get the injuries are no excuse thing to a point, but if multiple injuries force Nicholas morrow or aj klein onto the field you’ve probably got a valid excuse haha
  5. Its so sad a lot of people don’t realize how important TJ is/how important nickel corners are in todays nfl.. seems like there’s this weird belief that only we play nickel really and we could just as easily do something else and have as much success when in reality if you’re a team thats name doesn’t rhyme with feelers, nickel is probably your base defense 😂
  6. Concussions are really odd it’s not like a binary thing as far as testing on the field goes. They could keep him in the tent for hours and there’s still just nothing they could do to be 100% sure he doesn’t have a very mild concussion if he’s passing all their tests. I have ‘had’ a few and by ‘had’ I mean the doctor said yea maybe you’ve got one but it isn’t that serious if so that’s why the language is the way it is as far as the ‘steps were followed’ part. There’s no way to 100% distinguish between a very mild concussion and no concussion on the field. A lot of those tests are subjective and really only catch serious issues symptoms could also develop much later too in that someone initially passes and then enters the protocol later which would look even more suspicious if the nfl said ‘yup no concussion’ and then a player ended up in the protocol 😂
  7. Idk what good coach wants to walk into a situation where the owner will fire you for losing a tough game against his London buddies though 🤣. I doubt any coach with high aspirations wants that job working for woody that’s gonna be starting from scratch at qb in a year or 2
  8. This board has really mastered the art of ‘sell low’ and really seems intent on revisiting the no linebacker hell that lost us the chiefs playoff game last year 😂
  9. Concussions are so weird some people can smack their heads and just don’t seem to get them
  10. man idk…look at Jayden Daniels right now. The dude is playing out of his mind and they are running it a TON. Would they not resign him to a big deal if he keeps playing like this because they don’t need a top tier passer. also kc is pretty much right at our rushing percentage this year despite being in a lot less run out second half in a blowout type football. a lot of y’all want Ben Johnson which is about the same rush percentage as we’re seeing now scheme wise I think the gap between the team that rushed the most and the least was only 16% last year it’s not like teams are running way way more or less than others
  11. ‘Highly difficult home run throw’ LOL. It was a comically wide open post route for like 30 yards on a drive that was like pulling teeth where we fought for every inch. An absolute layup where Dawkins got ragdolled into him as he was throwing. Y’all are too much. If the protection was good I would hit that throw…of course I’d be dead if I got sacked though 🤣 Where is this trading Samuel business coming from? They’re not gonna sell low like that. Heck Shakir only had 4 catches on 4 targets through 6 weeks last season
  12. A lot of those nfl insider types said we were worried what would happen with diggs when hopkins took targets from him may be just speculation but it’s pretty plausible now that we see what happened with Diggs lol. This was pre us knowing about all this complicated diggs stuff
  13. I feel like I read somewhere that today was a walkthrough and the injury designations wouldn’t have changed from yesterday?
  14. I was going through all the Hopkins stuff again and it sounds like it was us not wanting Hopkins in the end. He probably would’ve come here if it was only up to him
  15. They didn’t even really win imo. How the nfl looked past that ridiculous block in the back that would’ve knocked them back to deep or out of fg range on that punt return is absolutely beyond me ended up offsetting with the giants game ending that could’ve been pi though Seems like teams are being more cautious these days. I think if we were in the situation where this is absolutely a must win to stay afloat in the division maybe some of these banged up guys tough it out.. like if we had lost to the jets once already and this was for blowing the head to head tiebreaker
  16. I think he gave up on the underneath middle stuff knowing Houston was mostly doing a good job taking it away so even on the plays where he had it he was passing it up too. that 6-9 jags loss a couple years back gave me worse vibes than this one lol
  17. Most of the chiefs reign of terror I get the feeling they could’ve found a way to win missing a few impact players but last year just felt like the healthiest team come playoff time won to me and now their luck is evening out. I don’t think the bills and dolphins could’ve combined defenses and fielded a great one at that point and the chiefs got those two teams back to back 😂
  18. Cooper I’m confident we could probably lowball the browns for if they’re looking to move on. They’re kind of stuck financially trying to make the Watson experiment work so idk if they’ll be open to trading him though Build a time machine and bring in prime Jerry rice 🤣
  19. I think we probably had that scenario last year but that avalanche of LB injuries killed us. Aj klein was basically a practice squad level player at best at that stage thrown in to a very important position that we couldn’t hide.
  20. I think the raiders are probably asking for too much trying to capitalize on teams desperation and they’ll likely end up keeping him…seems like that’s usually how these things go down
  21. If they can’t beat the chiefs this year come playoff time might as well blow the whole thing up cuz it’s never gonna happen 😂. They have been whiffing at OT moves for years now and lost two good wrs. Seems like their insane injury luck last year is coming back down to earth and I don’t think you can really punt on a year where the chiefs have holes like that especially if we’re trading for the kind of player we’d pick up in FA next year anyway
  22. If the chiefs had rice/hollywood brown still it might recompute things for me but they’re probably as beatable as they’re ever gonna be and the bengals have dug themselves a huge hole early. ravens with Bernard/t johnson/possibly Milano back should be a lot closer of a game. its mostly wide open imo. Overall, qbs are getting hammered by blitzes at a much higher rate than usual so a lot of our issues so far are being experienced at least to some degree by other teams
  23. I think it does actually…the defense held up pretty well mostly with a ton of scrubs out there I think they’re got a chance to be great when taron returns. also we probably want a sure thing and don’t want to gamble on a rookie at this point and free agency is lookin pretty light on proven outside wrs that are younger than Adams anyway. At this point in both their careers I think Adams is significantly better than Diggs at what we would use him for. Diggs is well rounded but isn’t a huge standout at one particular thing…he’s physical but not super physical, fast but not super fast, good at making contested catches but not great (seemed to tail off as the season progressed in this category) now that he’s start to hit the downswing he’s pretty easy for someone like the chiefs to completely lock down without doubling with their suspiciously grabby and not often penalized db coverage 🤣 I probably wouldn’t do it for just a half year rental but if he wanted to hang around a few years I’d give it a serious look
  24. There’s no way we’re sending a player lol. I think people just wildly guess at trade predictions and then if they’re right by some dumb luck they get more followers thinking they’re legit
  25. Yea they have no reason not to do that…worst that happens is they get ‘stuck’ with a great player lol
