  1. We must be talking about two different plays…I actually was fooled by the injury timeout in the gamecast haha we finished that possession with 3 timeouts.. so I’m not sure if we’re talking about two different plays or what, the 3rd and 13 to Kincaid had no timeout after. Punt team came right out and punted Haha I think this is sarcasm but it seems like a relevant time to point out that Houston had that fg shot at the end likely because they preserved all their timeouts…13 seconds was able to happen to us because kc preserved all their timeouts, and so on and so on…time outs are pretty much gold. So I agree with you (if this is sarcasm 🤣)
  2. Are we talking about different plays? I believe we went into halftime with two unused timeouts and the timeout we used was before the Kincaid play. I will begrudgingly watch this sh*tshow again though to be sure 🤣
  3. The announcer was an idiot and y’all are far too impressionable 🤣. Those plays are never ever overturned and we had a shot to get the ball back with limited time in the half. The average twobillsdrive gameday thread poster would make a horrendous football coach I don’t think the absolutely brain dead announcers are doing people any favors though lol I rolled my eyes hard at that commentary
  4. This is my favorite example of gameday thread posters being out of their mind…would’ve unquestionably been a failed challenge then when our offense got the ball back with a minute left and one of the timeouts was wasted y’all would’ve complained about the challenge. we see those ball wobbling while going to the ground plays all the time around the nfl and they are never overturned
  5. This is such a funny take. Dewayne Carter is playing better than worthy and Coleman who is what we spent the upgraded pick from the trade down on and Coleman really isn’t far behind what worthy has done by any means Early returns look like the chiefs got fleeced so far even if worthy ends up being good lol. They may have still gotten worthy without the trade up and they gifted us a guy that seems like the real deal and Coleman looks like he could be good as well edit: I really don’t understand what part of any of this is eye roll worthy (no pun intended 😂) we weren’t taking worthy clearly, is everyone sure the niners were or something? I don’t think you ‘settle’ for pearsall if you wanted worthy…they are two different players. And the niners didn’t have an immediate glaring wr need anyway so it’s not like they had to pull the trigger on the best available wr there. I think veach got spooked and ended up handing the bills a pick upgrade when he didn’t need to and that pick upgrade player is lookin good. So even if worthy is good and Coleman is ok you still handed the bills a good player very likely
  6. The trade comparison doesn’t make a lick of sense…Diggs was actively unhappy with his situation and his head wasn’t in it. Eventually we were going to be paying a premium for an indifferent wr who was leaving in free agency and ripped the bandaid off in a year where we had some other bad contracts on the books anyway and he still had some trade value we’ll never know of course but I’m sure veach would’ve handled the situation the same way if tyreek started causing issues Play hard for 1 more year and we’ll take a big dead money hit the next year because he’s under contract for more than 1 additional year? I really don’t get that at all The ‘oblige’ part is exactly what we did 🤣 we just picked a year where we were a bit behind the 8 ball already anyway to eat it all
  7. 16…haven’t rewatched anything but he got a decent amount of snaps
  8. Neither of those teams had a disgruntled wr that was at the very least mentally checked out. It’s apples and oranges. The tyreek trade got rolling because their agent bluffed trying to drive his price up for kc 😂 he didn’t want to leave at all the jets are 2-3 and losing close games while a good player they traded for refuses to show up which is the danger you run when trying to placate unhappy, disruptive players. gotta know when to get what you can for a guy that doesn’t like his situation and move on or not take it on in the first place. Bills got some great years out of Diggs but he clearly wasn’t happy and it was time to move on before he leaves as a free agent and you get nothing or he tanks his trade value I am thankful some of y’all aren’t running this team lol
  9. This whole offensive head coach thing is my new favorite thing on these boards haha like there isn’t a long list of offensive head coaches that have been held back by bad defenses and that the chiefs don’t win with defense all the time due to great defensive coaching. there’s literally an apparently genius level offensive mind that can’t really get to the next level because of the defense in our own division 😂. And his mentor Kyle Shanahan is apparently an even better offensive wizard and can’t beat the chiefs either. literally what sets the chiefs apart in a league with several great offenses is that playoff defense always makes the huge play when they need it
  10. Did they eat a lot of dead money in that trade? That’s what’s making it a ‘mini rebuild’ in our case. Just the fact that they traded a great wr also doesn’t mean much I can’t find the contract specifics because the internet is all chiefs dolphins trade predictions for this year 😂
  11. Things should be toughest early then get better so I’m curious how it plays out. There’s a lot of new pieces getting acclimated and the schedule was pretty tough early i don’t even know who’s a bad team yet…the cardinals are the bills loss away from leading their division, Miami with tua is a pretty tough out and we handled them well while he was in, jags have a bad record but have been competitive in all games but ours, ravens beat our a** that’s for sure 🤣, then Texans came down to the wire
  12. Can’t blame him for the screens in this most recent game…the blocking was horrid in a situation where a screen should’ve worked numerous times I think he tends to let things snowball when he has to watch the defense get marched on a few times and he starts pressing a bit then sprinkle in a few drops/pressure and he starts pressing even more. it’s not really unique to him, Rodgers took a couple sacks that affected him so much that he wasn’t even stepping into throws even with time in the jets game this week. Eventually he settled down a bit but the damage was done (in both cases). Once they start losing faith in the oline qbs start taking matters into their own hands and bailing clean pockets etc not expecting them to hold up
  13. If the pro diggs crowd was giving Diggs credit for drawing defensive attention despite not having flashy stats down the stretch last year, Kincaid should get the same treatment imo. He gets a lot of attention that is probably helping guys like hollins get comically wide open and we still can’t make the play for various reasons 🤣
  14. Idk Allen’s entire career has a couple of games like this per year when teams can bring heat and he gets uncomfortable and presses and starts missing throws…sometimes the defense is stout enough where we have a shot late and we win it anyway (this game was pretty close to that) so they don’t stand out as much. Sometimes it’s an all around stinker that everyone remembers. he may have been injured against Baltimore but idk that it led to unexpected bad play the next week
  15. Yea I normally entirely agree with these but this game was a little more bullish on the oline than I was…plenty of opportunities for josh to win it regardless though. of course way more work went into this analysis than what I did though 🤣. So I could be entirely wrong haha
  16. I honestly think they might now…the ravens game felt like we had so many holes it wasn’t even worth blowing the picks on a trade for a wr but I think the defense might lock it down once taron comes back with how Carter and Solomon are tracking edit: might trade for a wr I mean 😄. Not make a playoff run without adding a wr I just don’t really get this take…throughout his career when he’s had to pick up the oline and average wr play he’s had a handful of terrible games. He’s got some awful games on the resume and im not even sure this is close to his worst unless you’re specifically looking at completion percentage. This isn’t Brady specific
  17. There’s been games over the years where we are stacked with talent and it has happened too…my main point is the Texans didn’t discover something ‘new’ here and if josh was a bit more on he definitely makes them pay teams try a little bit of cover 0 type stuff against us all the time and the games where it’s working for them they keep hammering it. I think any iteration of wr talent/OC we’ve had recently have all had multiple games like this in the regular season each year Some of them weren’t ‘huge’ but overall yea I don’t disagree. There were a few 10-20 yard gains where receivers just straight up ran themselves out of the play
  18. I really felt like I saw plenty of wide open receivers yesterday it was just a combination of bad throws, being on different pages, and drops…even great receivers are getting locked up a good amount of the time if olines aren’t holding up.
  19. You need to be loaded with skill position talent OR have a stout oline and chiefs and bills really don’t have either right now. That whole defensive scheme falls apart if the oline holds up
  20. Texans didn’t pull it off nearly as convincingly as the ravens. The plays were there for us to win this one we just didn’t make them. That’s the thing with man blitz, a lot of plays you’ll get home fast enough where the coverage on the back end holds up and you look like a genius. But the few times it doesn’t you SHOULD get torched for big plays. teams have been doing this to josh for years and the games the oline doesn’t hold up and Josh’s accuracy is off consistently throughout we put up absolute stinkers but most qbs would do the same. It isn’t new by any means mahomes is starting to see a similar situation and is struggling also
  21. I def think this is some of the issue and will improve…quite a few of those scramble drill plays if guys did what Josh expected there were some big play opportunities wont fix everything obviously but it will help a bit
  22. Not making that catch at all was ALL on hollins lol. If people want to play the maybe an off ish target throw prevented a reception he should’ve made from being a td game then yea maybe. But there is literally 0 excuse for not catching that ball at all
  23. He’s still on an mvp ish pace which is the crazy thing lol. A regular season Allen clunker against a great team isn’t the rarest thing in the world even when he had name brand offensive weapons and a different OC. How quickly people forget 😂. there was some luck involved but he didn’t turn the ball over which gave his team a shot down the stretch in this one. lots of blame to go around but so many of these infamous offensive shortcomings are olinemen getting blown up at the worst possible time.
  24. Haha yea I think we’re all caught up in a semantics game here. Good/great game from him yesterday and that’s an easy win but if he had help in the skill positions that off ish game from what he’s capable of would’ve been a win still. he shouldn’t have had to play great to win that one if the roster was a little better, but he did because it’s not and we lost because he wasn’t great
  25. I think the Texans dodged a few bullets where Josh could’ve made them pay which kind of shows the risk/reward of that strategy but the ravens were pretty lights out. It’s not all Josh’s fault by any means but the plays were there for him to win that Texans game. Reminded me a lot of the bills dolphins playoff game in defensive philosophy. He was a few inches off on a couple deep shots that they were just handing to us pretty frequently from winning the game easily in both cases they were gambling the pass rush would get home before receivers could free up deep and it didn’t on quite a few occasions
