  1. What does that prove? Edmunds was the same there was a huge debate over whether he was good or not his entire time here. People are keepin an eye on him for more evidence on if their take was right or not. nobody wishes these guys ill will or thinks they’re bad people I don’t think lol this is self contained to chronically online message board posters I’d say with personal stake in whether Edmunds and Gabe have good careers, the average bills fan does not care in the least
  2. I don’t know I think it’s because there’s a lot of debates over whether a certain player is good or bad while they’re here and that’s the only reason anyone cares what they’re doing anywhere else i don’t think people are blindly hating on these guys just because they left the bills there’s always a huge discussion over whether we should let a would be free agent walk
  3. The reporting at the time was we didn’t want to take targets from diggs and piss him off which I took with a grain of salt at the time but now it’s looking like it had a chance of being true 😂
  4. Sorensen came in for mathieu and was absolutely freakin horrendous…he’s gotta be one of the worst safeties in history
  5. Playing the dead last team in defensive dvoa rather than the 4th ranked Texans definitely helps 🤣
  6. Our offense could’ve done whatever they wanted against the jags to be fair 😂
  7. Gabe really was pretty much always on a different page than Josh haha I feel like 3 or 4 dropped ints in 5 games is pretty normal…Allens dropped ints seemed to be lowest of all time the last few years though which makes it seem like he’s had a ton this year 🤣
  8. I’m not entirely buying this personally, that feels more vibes based than X’s and O’s based. nickel corner has been a bit of a problem for them and their dline has been mediocre at best. they’re well stocked up at outside corner which you don’t even really need against us 🤣. A decent cb in those spots would be more than sufficient lol safeties are bad on top of that. Feels like they’re mostly buoyed by 60% of their games being against even worse offsenses than ours so far and it’s distorting things a bit. we could still lose but I think it’s gonna be a bit of a scoring surprise in this one. its honestly kind of crazy…their defensive coach probably got fired due to offense and after the Buffalo game they will have played only teams ranked in the top 10 of defensive DVOA and the pats (a game they dominated) with Minnesota being the number 1 ranked by a mile
  9. I doubt cooper is getting traded…the browns are completely stuck financially just hoping Watson finds it again. I feel like Hopkins wanted to be here in free agency and we changed our minds on him not sure if that makes him more or less likely to end up here via trade though lol probably a cheaper price than Adams though which is nice
  10. I think you’re both right, they’re definitely trying to drive up the price and would trade him in theory but he’s gonna end up not going anywhere because the raiders are expecting too much
  11. lol yes they ran roughshod over us because we were missing a bunch of run stuffers then if we wanted to add a linebacker we were down to Nicholas morrow 🤣 having to choose to either stick in the nickel with cam Lewis or add Nicholas Morrow for some bigger bodies is like choosing between sh*t and poop lol the defense that night had an unrealistically high amount of players to pick on
  12. Nearly every team passed on metcalf twice in the draft because he ran a slower three cone drill than Brady 😂. Singling out the bills for this is absurd him getting in and out of routes was a huge concern for a lot of teams
  13. This particular source of rumors lost me at us offering a 2nd and 2 picks before getting to this point 🤣. There’s no way we offered that. If we did and Adams wasn’t blocking the trade somehow anymore like is alleged here the raiders would’ve taken that in an instant I don’t think you even hold out for better
  14. We’re 6th in defensive dvoa with a mountain of injuries lol idk what some of these defense critics are seeing. You’re not stopping the ravens down both your starting lbers and nickel corner
  15. Benford has been insanely good and Douglas was great last year and has been pretty good this year elam is the odd man out.
  16. Oh yea that’s def true..I think I’d trust them more than the jets though but who knows
  17. It’s overrated but still good imo. A lot of people read overrated and immediately assume ‘bad’. They’ve had a few terrible offense great defense opponents so far in this small sample size that is skewing their offense worse and defense better than I think they will end up. I think they’re just outside the top 10 if they continue on the pace they’re on defensively but they get talked about like they’re in the elite tier. That defensive line stepping up a little more could get them back in the elite convo though i watch way too many jets games with them being my local network games 🤣.
  18. That’s a lot different than unloading him midseason while injured and would’ve made a better thread 🤣
  19. Their offensive lineman depth is horrendous. 1 serious offensive line injury which is pretty likely for any team and their season is over I mean it’s only one more game without tua cuz their bye is this week IF he comes back week 8. The game is against the colts too so not a super impossible one
  20. Is tua not on track for a week 8 return anymore? +750 for the dolphins seems like an interesting value bet. I think I’d take that before the jets +310
  21. Idk I think we’re seeing up and coming coaches pick their spots better recently because if you jump into the wrong situation and get fired the odds you’re getting a second chance are pretty low. Guys seem to be waiting for the jobs they want to open up rather than rushing into a bad situation Yea idk if Rodgers was involved at all but it’s easily explainable that firing their head coach before making any offensive coordinator moves did not go over well with players and they were headed for full blown mutiny there’s this weird assumption that all the players were probably happy to see Saleh go because of one vague quote made by one player in a press conference who may have been talking about the oc not holding Rodgers accountable anyway sauce said ‘we’re still doing this for Saleh’ when asked about it so I think a lot of players on that defense really liked him
  22. The raiders are gonna milk it as long as they can I get the injuries are no excuse thing to a point, but if multiple injuries force Nicholas morrow or aj klein onto the field you’ve probably got a valid excuse haha
  23. Its so sad a lot of people don’t realize how important TJ is/how important nickel corners are in todays nfl.. seems like there’s this weird belief that only we play nickel really and we could just as easily do something else and have as much success when in reality if you’re a team thats name doesn’t rhyme with feelers, nickel is probably your base defense 😂
  24. Concussions are really odd it’s not like a binary thing as far as testing on the field goes. They could keep him in the tent for hours and there’s still just nothing they could do to be 100% sure he doesn’t have a very mild concussion if he’s passing all their tests. I have ‘had’ a few and by ‘had’ I mean the doctor said yea maybe you’ve got one but it isn’t that serious if so that’s why the language is the way it is as far as the ‘steps were followed’ part. There’s no way to 100% distinguish between a very mild concussion and no concussion on the field. A lot of those tests are subjective and really only catch serious issues symptoms could also develop much later too in that someone initially passes and then enters the protocol later which would look even more suspicious if the nfl said ‘yup no concussion’ and then a player ended up in the protocol 😂
  25. Idk what good coach wants to walk into a situation where the owner will fire you for losing a tough game against his London buddies though 🤣. I doubt any coach with high aspirations wants that job working for woody that’s gonna be starting from scratch at qb in a year or 2
