Idk how people compare qbs across rosters. Burrow, mahomes, Allen, all great but they have such different supporting casts that how can someone even truly rank them as individuals Burrow has got the best receivers mahomes has the best offensive line joshs team is pretty well rounded outside of Spencer brown who is terrible lol

Bengals' Board Monitoring TBD
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t get this ‘the bills didn’t want to finish the game because they were scared’ narrative at all. Even if we were down 14-3 we had a decent shot at getting the 1 seed and makin our path to the afc championship no one -> Jacksonville Not only is it in poor taste to say we intentionally tried to benefit from a tragedy but it’s completely wrong we would absolutely risk falling to the 3 seed for a chance at the 1 seed -
I can’t stress enough how much better the bills offense is than the ravens offense led by Tyler Huntley. Bills defense will make enough plays with cincys oline banged up…they certainly won’t hold them scoreless like baltimore did in the second half but they don’t need to. it’s a great matchup. If you bet cincy +5 I think you got it wrong but that’s just my opinion. a team that can run the ball at will with a tough secondary is who would worry me…someone like philly or sf or the jets if they ever find a qb 😂

People that are betting money on football should do a little more digging into offensive schemes / offensive lines lol bengals like to run empty sets/ 11 personnel. Miami runs a lot of heavier sets. Treating the cincy injured oline and dolphins injured oline as an apples to apples comparison is a huge mistake. You’re only getting cincy +5 because good one on one pass blocking is so important to what they do and they really don’t have the talent right now.
-
Dolphins offensive line was not worse than Cincy’s will be next week. Connor Williams and Terron Armstead are both great players. Cincy will not even have an average player on the OL if Cappa and Williams don’t go. I don’t even know who they’d go with…carman, volson, Karras, sharping, adeniji? thats 4 huge weak links and karras is mediocre at best. Miami typically runs heavier sets than cincy will as well. our secondary was great Sunday.

Chris simms has always been a joke but nobody really cared because he likes josh 😂 Miami didn’t play that scheme because they weren’t scared of the bills receivers, they were betting on winning the race between pass rush and receivers beating their man. It was a pretty mixed bag as well…the bills receivers absolutely dominated but the dolphins forced a few turnovers and dodged a few bullets defenses have been playing scared of our wrs all year
-
Chris Simms is getting more and more unhinged lol Davis was terrorizing the dolphins. Bills receivers were beating their man all game long. Just barely missed out on like 200 extra yards and 2+ more tds. If the dolphins weren’t scared of the bills receivers, they should have been 😂. They were very lucky to not lose that game by 20+ someone should probably tell him that the Vikings who have many scary wrs lost to the giants who have 0 scary wrs too haha

If josh had mahomes’ offensive line he’d probably break every record. We had a tough year up front, bad weather in a big chunk of games, josh played injured a few games, and he probably played 2 less full games than mahomes when you factor in games where he came out with a big lead and the one less regular season game. despite all of that he was pretty comparable to mahomes in total yards/tds

Seems like the vast majority of our turnovers this season have been on the opponents side of the field which pretty much equates to a punt. Everyone seems to get angriest at red zone interceptions but strategically that’s way better than turning it over on your own side of the field like we did a couple times against the dolphins

Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’re going to really have to shore up the oline and let some players go if they’re gonna get Brady. He’s got receivers now and it didn’t go great for him. And they’d be replacing tuas rookie deal -
People don’t care because it was Skylar starting but you could’ve put anyone back there and they would’ve struggled. Milano and edmunds were great, all our cbs played well. Gave up 2 TDs in like 15 drives…one of which was a very short field. 15 drives is pretty close to two games worth of drives 😂

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?

We’re going to blitz a lot with their oline situation I’d bet. -

Are you talking about that late timeout where the defense wasn’t set and literally every dolphins receiver was open? lol. Maybe the tv angle didn’t show that well? That was a good timeout despite Skylar just missing a deep ball -

Bills are pretty much unstoppable when the offensive line is playing well and we were mauling the bengals dline on that first drive. Was likely headed to 14-10 by the end of the first quarter -

CBs and linebackers were great Sunday. One silver lining in that strange and stressful game lol edmunds and Milano were everywhere -
Huge play in the game was the Beasley int and pff wouldn’t have credited that against josh. He also gets credit for the deep pass to shakir and the Knox ‘drop’ in the end zone from pffs point of view josh had a 400+ yard 4 or 5 td game with an int and a fumble a lot of those deep balls were the right read too and just barely missed
