  1. He sure did lol surprised people didn’t talk about that more
  2. I was just gonna say that lol. Like he has stats…much like Davis does, but based on opportunities both guys bungled they should be even better than the stat sheet says the classic receptions/tds/yards that everyone looks at doesn’t really tell you the full story. MVS def stunk at times in the regular season but he made some massive plays in the playoffs. He made a pretty wild tightly contested catch against us for a big gain
  3. I can’t believe spagnuolo doesn’t get more credit for the chiefs success haha their playoff defense is insanely clutch every game that terrible Daniel Sorensen doesn’t get forced into the lineup surprising he never got another shot at hc This I would be 100% behind if mahomes didn’t do exactly that against the raiders this year 😂. He pretty much solo lost that game
  4. ‘Ideally’ he wouldn’t have started but he did start his first season with one of the worst supporting casts I’ve ever seen a rookie qb have lol I’m struggling to see how things could’ve been any worse it was the ultimate trial by fire 😂. Wr1 was kelvin benjamin who was terrible and cut midseason the situation mahomes stepped into was farrrrrr better and I don’t think it’s even remotely debatable. I think josh made Daboll a household name much more than the reverse and Daboll’s time with the giants will likely prove that
  5. He got some buzz on the raiders a couple years ago…def could work out. Atlanta was an absolute mess last season
  6. Not sure what they’re laughing at…we might’ve won the Super Bowl last year if you swap Klein for morrow lol they must think he’s starting?
  7. Kelce is a pretty good pass blocker and probably a bit below average in run blocking. Gesicki is one of the worst blocking TEs in all of football. Even at just blocking these guys aren’t close to comparable lol
  8. Raheem Morris was a terrible hc hire imo…don’t think they’ll ever be relevant
  9. He can’t block at all which is a big part of a TEs job lol I think most fans only care about their pass catching abilities it seems like
  10. Yes that’s not exactly what I meant lol gabe Davis had a big chunk of wide open drops on those targets and likely had twice as many snaps or more those numbers being thrown around don’t really tell the whole story imo
  11. They were in much worse shape than us idk why us losing poyer towards the end of his career and some other ok players blew up so much
  12. Man who is even on that OL anymore lol. Everyone talkin about us losing some mediocre players but Miami lost a pretty good guard and Wilkins
  13. I wonder what the chiefs cap situation looks like after that jones deal they’ve gotta be pretty close to done
  14. I’d be curious to compare opportunities though as Davis had a ton and blew a lot of them 😂. His 45/746 was immensely disappointing imo
  15. One player can be clutch when the rest of the team very much is not lol that appears to be what is happening no idea how diggs can drop that pretty much uncontested deep ball when the jag mvs is hauling in contested catches all playoffs
  16. Its def possible…but I’ve seen a lot of talk like ‘the defense is gonna be as good as this past season AND they’re gonna sign some big time wrs’ I dont think they can have both really. the prevailing opinion seems to be ‘this was a down year and they’re only gonna get better’ but pretty much all their resources would have to get thrown at maintaining that defense
  17. That’s a trade off every team makes not just us. If you’re only open to perfect scheme fits the amount you have to reach to get a good player that did exactly what you’re trying to do in college can grow considerably this is not a unique buffalo bills deficiency at all lol
  18. I really don’t think he will either…I think they probably lock up sneed and then jones walks. Maybe they grab a more reliable wr to try to even out the loss with the other side of the ball but jones is just stupid good. They’ll get worse overall if he walks no matter what they do. Sneed and jones would probably cost them like 50m+ per year i mean we’ve all said it before and been wrong so it sounds kind of dumb saying it now 😂 but I think things are only gonna get tougher for them as time goes on with Kelce inching towards retirement and probably losing jones. This whole ‘it was a down year and they still won’ thing isn’t making sense to me I don’t really see a path to them being better next season. the offense might look a little prettier but they had jags stepping up all playoffs anyway. Mvs couldn’t catch a cold in the regular season and he made a couple huge plays in multiple playoff games. its either keep jones and make no splash upgrades anywhere else or the reverse
  19. If you can’t pressure the chiefs with 4 you need absolute gods in the secondary and people are complaining about defensive picks? Lol. I don’t get it. The playoff officiating makes it nearly impossible to pressure them with 4. Bosa got completely taken out of the game by just getting held. Seemed like the chiefs oline played it safe in the first half not knowing the extent of what they were gonna get away with then the second half was an absolute clown show
  20. The sad reality is we’re gonna try to draft the type of players that propelled kc to a championship and Baltimore to an afc championship and is also the side of the ball where the bulk of the players were losing are haha that’s a weird take to slap ‘sad reality’ in front of. I wish they can have one of y’all be gm for a season and we can watch you run the franchise straight into the ground 😂. If we don’t draft a safety earlier in the draft we are absolute idiots and you will complain about the pick 100% lol We literally lost the game in large part because we were missing two huge and recent great defensive picks
  21. Thankfully sneed and jones are free agents and will get huge offers from a bunch of teams. Maybe they take team friendly deals to stay though jones was the X factor all playoffs…can’t even stop him by egregiously holding him and egregious holds were going uncalled the entire playoffs
  22. The team matching with a td has the option to go for two which they’d undoubtedly take advantage of. That is why Shanahan took the ball first though cuz if you score a td you pressure the other team into a two point attempt if they match and he likely had a play ready to go on defense that he liked. if that ever happens that 2 point attempt will probably be one of the most exciting plays in nfl history haha really both teams have an attempt to be the team that ends the game on offense so it’s about as fair as it could get
  23. I still think there’s some merit to it…obviously didn’t work out that way though and the players not knowing the rules is a huge red flag against Shanahan regardless so this is not to defend him at all lol if it goes fg-fg you win on just another fg. And if it goes td-td the other team is gonna go for two and you’ve got a shot to stop it for the win. I think two point conversions are successful a little less than half the time you can def make the case for going for that fourth and medium rather than settling for the fg but that’s pretty low percentage too with how good that chiefs defense has been I think they were just destined to lose once they didn’t connect on that third down play lol the other team knows they need a fg and are in four down territory the way it worked out but it’s only up until fg range more than likely. Started out in agreement but idk that they would have won if not for that special teams play. 49ers just had no answers in that second half. Their first three drives after halftime they totaled -3 yards and the defense started to gas out
  24. That does seem to be what’s happening around here…people are talkin like the chiefs are blowing us out every game but the last two of those playoff matchups easily could’ve gone the other way (as could the regular season matchup that we won) if we were losing two score+ type games and getting clearly outclassed like that afc championship game a few years back I’d feel a lot more hopeless
  25. Their jags showed up big in a few of those playoff games…don’t think they would’ve won it all if their jags played like jags. Mvs made a couple huge plays against the bills and ravens then almost cost them in the Super Bowl running backwards 10 yards after a catch haha that was the big difference in bills chiefs to me…mvs made that great highly contested catch and diggs dropped a virtually wide open bomb in an extremely tight game. The guy getting paid to make clutch difficult plays couldn’t catch a routine ball and the jag reeled in a difficult catch
