  1. That’s brilliant…I had like 10 layers on for the bills pats wildcard game and everything was toasty except for my feet on that frozen concrete…had tons of socks on and hand warmers in my boots but it made no difference
  2. Oh yea I don’t either that’s what I was trying to say…they’re getting lighter boxes because Rudolph has been hittin some throws. People are makin it sound like pit is playing smashmouth football and will run it on us easily even if we know it’s coming which is definitely not the case
  3. This continues to confuse me…I would let the game play out before making the claim it is not to the bills advantage. The only evidence that it’s not to the bills advantage is that y’all are nervous about the game lol look at the NE game…they broke one big run which ended up being the difference but only crossed midfield like one other time and couldn’t even attempt a pass. We were much weaker in the trenches back then also so that game isn’t even relevant really. On offense in that one I would argue we waited too long to try to throw…Josh was hitting throws into the wind in the 4th quarter pretty easily. Absolute fluky loss from a few years ago has everyone spooked still it seems. We play that game in those exact conditions 10 times I think we win 8
  4. Najee’s stats didn’t pick up until they got a qb that can actually throw the ball lol i watched them have runs blown up all year long he averaged around 50 rushing ypg up until Rudolph took over. The vast majority of those games Warren didn’t do much of anything either
  5. That really depends on what the weather ends up being. A foot of snow could equalize both sides …moderate wind does not equalize both sides though and idk where people are getting this idea that it does we don’t even attempt long field goals anymore, Najee Harris has as many lost fumbles as cook does and is even more off and on, the entire pit offense has been jump started by mason Rudolph deep balls when we haven’t been hitting deep shots as consistently. Our qb can run like a fullback and has the stronger arm. Assuming it’s just 20-30 mph wind with some light snow I think the weather tilts the game in our direction even more. If it’s hurricane winds or snow like that colts game a couple years back then we can talk about ‘equalizers’. Sounds like the forecasts are all over the place though. Steelers ain’t a team that can run it every down and have success…they were getting stymied on offense until Rudolph could lighten the boxes by hitting some downfield throws. If the weather prevents them from doing so I don’t think they’re getting in the end zone The NE game has scarred people too much I’m afraid lol. It’s a shame too because it was an absolute fluke that they won that one especially in that weather and belichick knew it and celebrated like he won the Super Bowl afterwards 🤣
  6. Pats game was windier than this one is gonna be…also I really think that was a fluky loss weather or not personally. We were moving the ball fine through the air and waited too long to commit to throwing imo. Josh threw a deep ball that doinked off diggs’ head also lol Mac could not throw at all which made the pats super one dimensional…they crossed midfield like two times if the Steelers were some ground and pound juggernaut with a beast of an oline maybe I’d feel uneasy and this seems to be the way they’re being talked about around here for some reason.. they really aren’t that though.. their offense was anemic until Rudolph got a shot and started hitting some deep passes downfield
  7. Accuweather says lake effect snow,weather.com says a small 1-2 inch type snowstorm, weather.gov says snow showers which id assume is even less than that if there was that serious of a chance for a lake effect snowstorm I think there’d be murmurs about moving the game imo
  8. That defense seems like it could be crazy good if a little healthier but I think a lot of that is belichick. He ran that offense straight into the ground though lol
  9. I get the cbs notifications for tds and such so after 30 seconds of waiting I figured they didn’t score when I didn’t get one lol
  10. My stream froze right when Josh released the ball so I had a lot of time to look at it and I was pretty sure it was gonna be a td 😂
  11. If that play was any time but the final play of a half, that helmet to helmet hit gets called 100%
  12. Aka ‘not even close’ to cris collingsworth hahaha I couldn’t believe he said that
  13. Pits oline is pretty bad…these are weird takes. It’s like they’re hung up on what these franchises are usually known for over how they’ve been playing this year. The bills have been much better in the trenches in both sides of the ball compared to years past their dline is pretty bad too without watt
  14. He’s good at somewhat obscuring the like three different route combinations they run all game long lol. There’s really no reason not to play them single high and cheat inside, drop 7 defenders because tua only gets more uncomfortable the more time he gets and won’t even attempt to throw it outside the numbers unless it’s a deep go I think the bills and ravens gave the league the blueprint and McDaniel knows it. I see a lot of injury excuses being made but their offense wasn’t outlandishly injured for week 18 of an nfl season and we were down to a third string LB and lost our best corner in the game so their offense vs our defense evened out injury wise. Not to mention our previously best edge rusher that we’re paying a bajillion dollars may as well be injured still 😂
  15. I’m always a bit perplexed by the ‘not getting a team to the Super Bowl in 6 years requires firing’ point…look at John harbaugh. The guy has won one in 16 years Look at Mike Tomlin…hasn’t sniffed the Super Bowl in 14 years and won one in 17 total years Kyle shanahan has been to one superbowl in 6 years and also had an epic collapse as OC of the falcons McCarthy hasn’t been to one in the last 12 years and has 1 in 25 years coaching Reid has won 2 in 24 years(unless offensive assistant counts) that’s the longer tenured guys in the playoff field and they’ve won 5 superbowls in like 90 years coaching 😂. That’s an average of 1 win every 18 years or so
  16. Startin to think he’s overrated even as an OC…or it could be tua holding the offense back too or a little bit of both. They run the same couple route combos all game long and it ain’t fooling the better teams at all. They average like 15ppg against playoff teams
  17. Pitt couldn’t do anything running the ball until their passing game opened up
  18. I can’t remember any josh turnovers on our side of the field at all lol. It’s honestly pretty wild. A lot of guys with less turnovers have put their team in much worse shape than Josh has
  19. Should’ve won but blew it? They got outgained by 200 yards and got like 2 first downs in the second half. They were fortunate to not lose by 30+ again we lost a bunch of important players in this one …they had Spector and Dane Jackson to pick on and got two first downs all second half. Two?! I’ll give them some benefit of the doubt for their defensive injuries but even at full strength they are objectively a tier or two below the bills edit: wow I don’t even think it was 2 haha I think it was 1 😂
  20. Browns are the most overrated team I can remember in recent playoff history lol. Defense has been great but the Flacco story is so feel-good that nobody is really looking into what he’s been doin too closely. Obviously it’s not a cakewalk straight up but as far as who you’ll run into in the second/third round of the playoffs that’s about as easy as it’s gonna get. That chiefs defense is not terribly far behind Cleveland’s and their offense has a lot more upside. Baltimore is right there in defense and their offense is much better as well I think we’d be a 7 point favorite against Cleveland
  21. I think he’s safe regardless but if we get absolutely blown out you never know…first round exit or worse this year and next year id expect him gone though
  22. This is a very half empty vs half full situation that I can’t blame anyone for feeling either way on. I can’t personally blame him for squeaking by undermanned teams when we lost quite a few close games as a very undermanned team ourselves but to each their own. to me everything evened out over the course of the season, we had big late calls bail us out and screw us in other games, we had a ton of injuries and played some injured teams, and we exactly met expectations. All things considered I’d take blowing some easy games and playing great against good teams over the alternative
  23. Its been better than a punt more often than not this year lol
  24. What’s the story with td/int ratio around the league this year? More dbs holding and it not getting called? It felt like last year everyone was way higher it’s not just a josh thing not only are ints up it feels like passing tds are way down
  25. He would’ve had a big year anyway if he didn’t hurt his thumb…looked like he had trouble catching for a few weeks after the thumb injury. Still a great rookie season nonetheless
