  1. Its getting absurd…no penalties on their oline in Superbowls, interceptions consistently wiped out
  2. The wind was not helping…both teams allowed pretty big returns in that direction
  3. I feel like they’ve got worst team in the league potential
  4. No idea why he didn’t take off there
  5. They thought mcduffie pulled Chase down and he 100% didn’t
  6. Yep that’s definitely true
  7. Feels like the secondary has been great but Kyler broke contain a lot to extend drives against us which kept the game close. if their defense steps up they could be a really scary team
  8. Andy Reid’s first Super Bowl win was like 20 years into his head coaching career lol his prior team gave up on him after one bad season where he was missing one of the best offensive tackles in the league and his starting qb for a big chunk of the season. Reid is literally evidence for why McDermott should have a longer leash not shorter imo, eagles gave up on him far too soon. Steelers have an absolute stud that can take over a game, he’s just on defense which nobody cares about for some reason. An average coach would have that team going .500 without that much trouble. And when that guy is out, they almost always lose. I’d argue Reid is a great example of why you shouldn’t give up on a perennially good coach too soon, and Tomlin is a great example of why you shouldn’t keep a coach too long just because he won a superbowl years ago
  9. Definitely agree and this is more devils advocate than anything, but knowing the nfl the ‘independent’ neuros probably do everything they can to clear star players in big games. It’s possible the dolphins just went along with what they said. They still could’ve chosen to hold him out though so McDaniel absolutely would get some blame even in that case crazy to think they risked tuas career for that one win and still didn’t win the division
  10. What is ‘could not get it done’ lol did the guy retire and I missed it? Heck hall of fame, commonly referred to as one of the greatest coaches of all time don Shula won 2 Superbowls in 32 years. If mcd wins one in the next like 8 years he matches that pace 🤣 current head coaches that are always talked about highly, John Harbaugh has 1 in 16 years , Kyle Shanahan has 0, Mike Tomlin has 1 as a head coach in 16 years (had one as an assistant), mcvay has 1 in 7 years but it looks like his team is no longer in the top NFC tier so I expect him to be stuck at one for a John harbaugh length of time lol then you’ve got guys like Payton who people have soured on that is also stuck at 1 for a long time.
  11. We need to find a way to that 1 seed…regular season success is criminally underrated with how much it effects playoff success
  12. I’m curious how the pats dynasty would’ve fared if they overlapped with the prime mahomes/reid chiefs for longer.
  13. Mvs seems like he’s not on the same page as Josh yet and they are currently making me a little nervous haha but everyone else id agree
  14. Mcd seems pretty aggressive to me in those situations while the game is still close…I’m sure it’s based on if they have a play they like against whatever defense they’re facing. once we’re up 7+ in games he plays them more conservatively as he should imo
  15. I don’t really see a realistic path to Miami ever winning the afc east without a full rebuild or a new qb at the very least. They are just not good enough against their division rival/teams with winning records in such a big sample size now. mcd has tua’s number…they should’ve moved on. Reminds me of the mistake the bills made with Fitzpatrick but we had the guts to rectify it
  16. McDaniel/grier have to go down with the ship at this point…I don’t think tyreek is going anywhere Seemed like McDaniel was trying to make sure we didn’t have much time left to do anything if we ended up stopping them while also giving his team a couple shots at the end zone. it was definitely not the right thing to do as they hurt their td chances a good anount but I could kind of see where he was coming from. If we added another fg before halftime then with us getting the ball back after halftime the game was pretty much over
  17. The jags defense has been pretty bad the last few years…I think we just happen to flub our games against them and it’s a small coincidence it happened twice. Doesn’t mean they won’t be better this year though last season was pretty whack that they had an extra week in London. if the sample size was a little bigger I’d think there’s more to it
  18. Poised to win haha what does that even mean. They got destroyed
  19. We made them look good but the jax defense was pretty bad last year across the board. Should be interesting to see how good the armstead addition goes in Jax, I think he got a bit overrated because he was surrounded by an absolutely stacked defense early on in SF theyre very early on into a scheme shift too
  20. Seemed like Jacksonville was all in on stopping the run…Miami will get their passing yards in that scenario. Should’ve worked for them too a miracle jags fumble bailed them out
  21. Jets can be a tier below and keep it close based on the difference in schedules I’d think so we can’t really afford a letdown against them
  22. It is crazy how much harder the division winner schedule is than second place schedule this season…although maybe some teams are good this year that weren’t last year and stuff like that. Those non nfc west/afc south one off games are all against really top heavy divisions it’s feelin like especially if love misses some time
  23. I think he probably approaches that tackle differently if it wasn’t a qb leading with his head. You never know with these crazy unnecessary roughness penalties these days
  24. Good coaches don’t go 1-6 against a division rival at a similar talent level with the games growing more lopsided over time…that’s a huge red flag
  25. It was poorly aged at the time it was posted still I’d say 😂
