  1. It didn’t make a humongous difference this year but yea Huntley is considerably worse. They had tua for a lot of the tougher games this year and long enough to turn it around and still lost to pretty much all the good teams. I think teams skimp on backup qbs because even if you have a pretty good one you’re probably not winning a Super Bowl anyway so they see it as wasted resources
  2. Or maybe Micah should watch some of the games lol Lamar throwing to laughably wide open guys because teams are loading up to stop Derrick Henry is just not an mvp to me I think you could argue Lamar is not even the mvp of his own team pretty easily
  3. That was still the most bizarre game I’ve ever seen lol we almost lost but we were inches on a few throws from Josh having like 500+ yards passing and blowing them out too 🤣 Idk they had no Pickens last time and the ravens had flowers and it was still close most of the way. Idk that they’ll win but id expect the Steelers to be in it. Ravens Steelers have a long history of really close games that the Steelers usually win lol
  4. That Lions offensive depth chart is absolutely stacked lol idk why everyone gets hung up on the qb specifically. outside of qb they are significantly better than us at just about every position I’d say and Goff isn’t exactly a schlub by any means. I think Ben Johnson could easily be the hot oc that doesn’t work out also honestly.
  5. That Texans game threw some cold water on the whole ‘we turned it around’ narrative for their fans I think. Tua looked awful in a must win game. They were pretty bad until garbage time against gb too down the stretch. also your numbers are not correct they didn’t even win 9 games total lol. They went 6-3 down the stretch and 5 of those wins were CLE,LV,NE,NYJ,SF.its usually a scheduling anomaly when they go on a decent run because they pretty much exclusively lose to good teams. they weren’t much better with Tua vs without too. Tua was 6-5 this year when starting. granted his matchups were tougher but I don’t think their fans are having that ‘if we only had tua’ feeling you’re describing
  6. That leaves 3 openings though to be fair 😂 some of y’all might not like it but he seems to be top of the list once you subtract those two names.
  7. Mcconkey would’ve been a really strange pick imo. Big bodied wr that can catch jump balls and is a dog in run blocking was exactly what we wanted. Our roster is really crowded at slot wr and mcconkey could probably have some success outside but has just as many question marks if you’re expecting to line him up outside for the majority of the time as Keon has
  8. I think it’s closer to 1.5 points now for the home team
  9. Flores has gotta be chuckling to himself watching what’s going on with Miami now that he’s with minny lol doing a heck of a job against Detroit right now
  10. People don’t think about burrow being in a way better position to rack up stats than any of the other mvp candidates. The guy is trailing and having to throw in pretty much every game. We’d be getting Josh vs the rams stats every week if Josh was in the same position. Burrows stats are pretty much meaningless in the mvp discussion
  11. Shouldn’t this be a great result with everyone’s constant panic about the bengals around here?
  12. Von was really really good before the injury. The pass rush was great his first year here and it fell off a cliff when he got injured. It felt like a huge loss that everyone was worried about when he went down because of how well he was playing. He also played a sizable chunk of snaps that first year, I don’t think he ever missed more than half of the snaps in a game and frequently was on the field 70-75% percent of the snaps he’s been pretty solid this year too im interested to see if the snap count throughout the year was a bit of load management.
  13. Hard to flame anyone when there isn’t really a clear definition what mvp even means lol. If it is a pure statistical award you could probably make a case for any of those guys. i dont get this Lamar running away with it stats wise thing though, why do his rushing yards count but not his 5 lost fumbles? He actually has more turnovers than josh does and the total tds isn’t crazy different despite the ravens having another mvp candidate on offense that defenses have to account for. Burrow really shouldn’t win, if Josh or Lamar were trailing all game every game they would absolutely be going off just as much if not more. Could just be only when I’m watching but the vast majority of Lamar’s big plays that I’ve seen are like this haha he had a really nice throw to a well covered Andrews last night which had me thinking about how rare it was that his receiver isn’t comically wide open
  14. Rams offense moved the ball very easily they just turned it over a bunch of times including a pick six. Could’ve been familiarity with the offensive plays leading to those 2 ints who knows. pats got outgained 427-265 and lost time of possession
  15. His overall premise of doing what you want no matter what anyone will say is fine but dumping drake maye for the sanders/sanders combo feels like an all time awful decision to me haha deion seems in over his head in college I can’t even imagine how he’d look in the nfl
  16. Not enough highlight type plays I’d say..some guys just feel like the team is elevating them and some feel like they’re elevating the team and Darnold is in that first category at the moment
  17. The colts defense lost me my fantasy football finals lol.
  18. First round exit I think there’s a chance he’s fired this year but it’s a very small one, divisional round exit and his seat gets hot next year, conference championship loss and he’s fine imo
  19. This years jets team honestly might have put together the most disappointing season by a football team ever Super Bowl aspirations to 4-12 is really hard to do lol
  20. I think betting sites had our season win total futures bet at 10.5 and it seems like every single analyst I know of predicted under that number which is pretty odd when you think about it haha I think people forget our regular season last year was very disappointing at 11 wins. We could’ve taken a talent step back and still won 11
  21. I think thats a negative for Lamar honestly…a painful reminder they blew a couple more games than other teams
  22. A comparable amount I’d say…while Lamar is in an obvious win situation the ravens seem like they run the full offense though. Bills and most other teams seem more interested in running out the clock than Baltimore does
  23. It is crazy to me to pick the dolphins to win the division when they need an act of god basically to beat that one division rival lol I just can’t wrap my head around someone paid to talk about sports making that pick. buying into the jets hype I can at least understand
  24. They were only off by 6 wins for the jets at least haha most are off by 8
  25. I’ve seen a bunch of screenshots/memes of people picking division winners and no one picking us lol I’ll see if I can track them down
