I don’t live in WNY anymore. I only get to attend a couple games each season.

Wait…. Antonio Williams is back?
Ray Stonada replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Get him 10 Carrie’s against the Jets! definitely possible to have too many Antonio’s, tho -
For me football should always be outdoors. It’s one of the things that makes it unique. I attended the Bills-Cowboys Super Bowl in the Georgia Dome and it felt tame, flat and muted. Like watching a video game. Nothing like being in the elements, and half the crazy stuff doesn’t even make sense in a dome. The rest of life (central heating, A/C from house to car) is comfy enough! Three hours a week outdoors is Good for you. Get dirty, get cold, breathe some fresh air. Guess I’m a legacy thinker.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
Ray Stonada replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s really only Wednesday? Feels like ages since Falcons game. Fast forward to Sunday, please! -
How confident are you about the Bills going into the playoffs?
Ray Stonada replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am confident the defense will not get shredded. They are playing solid football. On offense, I am confident in the young core: Allen, Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Singletary, Dawkins, and Brown. Allen has to stay calm and within himself. The Bills have to keep adjusting to defenses, like they did the 2nd half of Tampa and ATL games. The power running, with six linemen and Knox, has to continue when needed. Could Buffalo beat NE, TEN, KC and GB in a row? Absolutely, but they will have to come together and play their best four game stretch of the season. -
And... he's back! Per Buffalo News this morning: "The Bills have signed running back Antonio Williams to the practice squad and released wide receiver Austin Proehl."

We’ve always had cold, windy games in December. I was at the home game in the 90s against the Jets, high of 0 with wind chill of -30. What’s new is all the rain in the October and November games. That’s a newer pattern.

Yep. However, I guess as Hoodie would say, in the end it’s the players making plays, coaches and game plans notwithstanding. Mack is the Buffalonian I would most love to see on the Bills.

Sounds great for Leslie, but tough for us. His Bills defense is as good as it gets with these pass friendly rules. The Bears team he started on was one of the two best defenses I’ve ever watched (other being Baltimore 2000), too.

Confused by a stat graphic Fox kept showing
Ray Stonada replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall
They used to put relevant stats on the screen a lot more. Like, they'd flash an RB or WR or DE or a defense's stats between plays because they were having a huge impact on the game. Nowadays, Fox just has a stat line for the offense's QB pasted permanently up there, even when that tells none of the story. Lazy. -
Mitch Morse's better half also doesn't like it:
-
I wish McKenzie was getting more snaps at WR. Stevenson as a returner has looked tight, nervous and like the game hasn't slowed down for him--not that unusual for a rookie. He could improve a lot with some confidence.

All cool stories. The Bengals of Ickey Woods, Boomer Esiason, Tim McGee, etc., used to scare me back in 1988. They were like the Pistons to Buffalo's Bulls. It was so good to finally vanquish them.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
Ray Stonada replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's what makes the Falcons game so big. If Buffalo can keep that kind of power running game going, it will solve a lot of problems. -
Yep. Though I could also see Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase running wild and taking out KC again. PS apologies to everyone for the wrong bracket I originally posted.
-
Sorry, I pasted the wrong text. I fixed it above.

Most likely playoff bracket seems to be (edited as I pasted in the wrong thing): 1. Tennessee Titans (bye) 2. Kansas City Chiefs vs. 7. L.A. Chargers 3. Cincinnati Bengals vs. 6. Indianapolis Colts 4. Buffalo Bills vs. 5. New England Patriots
