  1. Maybe the Bills were really going for an undefeated season? That kind of reaction to a week three loss is hard to explain unless you don’t want to lose at all this year. I have a feeling they will torch Baltimore.
  2. Trial by fire today. I think Buffalo comes through! LET’S GO.
  3. I love this thread. Let’s go Stef!
  4. We are gonna kick some tail. I noticed Tua's deep passes to Tyreek were about 3 yards underthrown, but Hill was so far ahead of the defender that he could slow down to wait for the ball and still have separation. McDermott and Frazier will have seen it too. They will play our defensive backs very deep, and Tua doesn't have the arm strength to fire deep outs. I don't see them being able to stay with us.
  5. YES. Also I think Daboll schemed to get guys open in a way that made it tougher for them to run after the catch. This year Diggs is running all kinds of routes and if it keeps up he will show how incredible he is with the ball too, not just as a route runner. (He used to be a great punt returner.) Gabe returning will take his stats down a little (kind of like Reed once Loften joined) but Diggs should easily catch 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns this year, and if the cards fall right it could be like a legendary 130 catches, 1700 yards, 17 TD kind of year!
  6. It might be a sign of my age, but my method in the European time zone is to go to sleep at 9pm and set the alarm for 2am for night games. Then I can skip the commercials for a while and catch up to the live broadcast by the second quarter Hard to sleep after a Bills game, win or lose.
  7. Agree! “NFL Research: The Buffalo Bills did not punt this season until their 16th drive of the campaign, marking the longest streak of offensive possessions without a punt to begin a season by any team since at least 1991.”
  8. I woke up nervous Rookies in secondary Titans made me calm
  9. Tua's stat line: 36 of 50, 469 yards, 6 TD, 2 INT, 124.1 rating Weak arm or no weak arm, that's a lotta production.
  10. Herbert also has a slower release than Josh and Pat.
  11. From the Athletic: 1. Buffalo Bills (1-0) Everything went as designed for the Bills in the opener after the first-half turnovers. Josh Allen looked like one of the two or three best quarterbacks in the league, while Gabriel Davis and Stefon Diggs complemented each other perfectly. The defense delivered the ideal recipe for every non-Wink Martindale defensive coordinator by creating pressure with a four-man rush — seven sacks with no blitzes is almost too good to be true. Isaiah McKenzie even provided the sweetest moment of the week. The vibes are strong. https://theathletic.com/3583597/2022/09/13/nfl-power-rankings-week-1-2/?redirected=1
  12. I actually kinda love these guys. They've actually got some passion, which is rare in Mammals fans. It's gonna be more fun to disabuse them of their delusions, though.
  13. I can't wait this long!!!! Dang it.
  14. Zay Jones never makes a tough play. He always looks like he might, but nope.
  15. In every way, Josh is my favorite Bills QB ever. And I say that as a big Kelly fan growing up. But even as a young teenager, I could see he could be a jerk at times (before he matured a lot). The way Josh's teammates love and appreciate him is a whole different thing. That that combines with his physical creaturehood, his dawg toughness, his smarts, his insane will to win and improve, his being funny as hell and even a good actor is something just... like... HOW DID THIS GUY HAPPEN? You can't love it enough.
  16. Am underrated one is the 30-13 beat down of the Chiefs in the AFC title game to go to our forth Super Bowl. Thurman ran wild to the tune of 186 yards and 3 TDs. It was a great day to be a Bills fan!
  17. I love this team more than I can say. I’ve been waiting for these guys to get here for 30 years. This could be a 16-1 type of season. But more than that it’s the way these guys do it, with love for each other. This is the way it should be.
  18. Same thing happened to me three years ago! Mazel! Meanwhile, it’s literally scary how good the Bills could be this year. 🥰😤
  19. I’d take Josh over Aaron Rodgers a thousand times out of a thousand. What I loved: when adversity hit, couple bad luck interceptions and his backs fumbling, Josh just focused harder and kept trucking. Like Mike Tyson said, everybody has a plan until you get hit in the mouth. Josh got hit and stayed true to his plan.
  20. Nice to see you here, Bills Dad.
  21. All this national love is making me nervous!
  22. This guy's analysis is a complete joke. Justin Herbert has done NOTHING to compare to Josh's performance in the playoffs last year. Josh is not fooled routinely or even frequently, pre-snap, nor does he have a problem with accuracy anymore. He's been in the zone most of the time since 2020. As a lot of posters said, ask Belichick! I think this is just sour grapes from a guy who has a superficial knowledge of Allen and holds a grudge for some reason. Most of his tweets are about soccer. The Ringer is surprisingly lame in general. I don't think Bill Simmons cares about great sports journalism that much anymore, he's gotten too big for that or something.
  23. I think it was Daboll. There were also way too many plays where we telegraphed run or pass, and too many RPO's which don't always work against the speed of NFL defenders. He just wasn't a good designers of the running game. With Kromer and Dorsey I think it's going to get a lot better. And if the passing game and our D play at the same level or better than last year, the Bills will be a juggernaut.
  24. I can't wait three more days. Dang it.
