"Thermos Thomas? I kinda like it." Love these guys, from admin to Therm. LOL. Kumerow catching a TD would drive Rodgers even crazier -
His "nice job" type comments to Lamar after the game just oozed with "I'm doing this so no one can say I'm a bad sport but I do not mean this in the slightest"
-
Maybe this makes me a jerk, but honestly I'm really enjoying watching him play like crap and lose!
-
Brady's off-the-field issues this year track so perfectly with his on-field cheating and attitude of "winning is more important than decency or character"...
-
Brady is a miserable dude. He has had more accomplishments than anyone in history but he just can't appreciate it. It's karma, Tommy. The stats make his performance look way better than it was, too. The Ravens dropped 3 INTs, and the Bucs scored a garbage time touchdown after about 20 Brady checkdowns.
-
If we do get him, I just hope it doesn't mess with our chemistry.

As awesome as we were in the Super Bowl years, we were NEVER widely considered the best team in the NFL, the way we are right now. Back then the AFC had a long losing streak in the Super Bowl and the NFC was considered the heavyweight conference. I am LOVING this experience of being number one in most every power ranking and just being considered the elite of the elite (with KC). We NEVER had that before. However, I think back then people were just even more obsessed with football especially in Buffalo, or maybe that was just me. PS Kelly wasn't considered the best QB, either, though he was in the top tier with Marina, Montana, Elway, etc. PPS Thurman was clearly the best dual threat (and won MVP in 91, of course), but a lot of people considered Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders the best pure running back.

Who are we going to play in the super bowl?

15-1 juggernauts have lost in the conference championship. Heck, the year we lost our first Super Bowl, the 49ers were 14-2, two-time defending champs, and they lost to the Giants in the title game. If we play the Chiefs in the AFC title game, I say we win it 7 times out of 10, if we play the Bengals I estimate we win 8 times out of 10. 20-30% is still a big possibility not to go to the Super Bowl--and that's assuming we are in the title game. -

You don't think it's a little early for this? -
Tackling and being driven backwards and laterally by force by other players makes football much more stressful on the knee joints than soccer. So the soccer timelines don't apply, IMO. I also think it's very wise not to push Tre to return as soon as possible when there is no pressing need for it. Even if he returns after another 4 weeks on IR, he will have 6 regular season games to shake off the rust before the playoffs. Plenty of time.

Early in his career, Elway ran too. I was at the Bills-Eagles game, sitting in the end zone where Randall Cunningham, with eyes in the back of his head, ducked Bruce's sure safety and threw a 95 yard touchdown. Cunningham was awesome. He's still a top 10 all-time *rusher* for the Eagles. And he should have had a Super Bowl in Randy Moss' rookie year, when the Vikings went 15-1. They scored 556 points in 16 games! Still I'd say Steve Young was the one who combined running and passing the best in regular season and playoffs, before Allen and Mahomes.
-
A great passer who can run makes an offense basically unstoppable. It's an underrated part of Mahomes' game, and it's obviously Allen's. Maybe the earliest example of how dominant it can be was Steve Young. All due respect to Montana, who was more clutch, but the Niners' offense was even better with Young. The year they beat the Broncos 55-10 in the Super Bowl was like a premonition of the Allen/Mahomes style.

it took a perfect storm of heat, injuries, and mistakes for Buffalo to lose to Miami. And it affected them the next game too, against Baltimore, where they came out flat and fought their way back. I think the Bills, at least unconsciously, did not think they should lose ANY game this season. Not saying they were expecting an undefeated season, but to lose at all was a shock that took another week to get over.

I WISH Tom Brady would retire. I don't want to have to think about him and his joyless cheating any more. Then I remember he'll probably be just as visible as a TV guy for the next 10 years. And then he'll probably go in to politics and end up President or something. DANG IT.

I hope the Bills shut them out and pick off Rodgers three times. Time for these old guys who've been hogging the spotlight to go home. Or to a cryogenic tank or wherever Tom Brady lives now. -

Chiefs first drive since Taron Johnson picked off Mahomes. 2 yard run, Pacheco. WR screen Hardman, 1 yard. 3rd and 7, Mahomes throws down the middle... tipped, INTERCEPTED. -
