  1. Play him in the 4-3 or 5-2 lineups we used last week, so he has less chance of being exposed. It's been bad when he's part of our base nickel, run or pass.
  2. Smart thing to say. Reward guys for being team players.
  3. Receipts for my saying Saleh built two great defenses?
  4. Yep. If we put him on the field only in obvious passing downs, maybe it helps. And with the 5 D lineman, Groot should be there next to him. But yeah, we need every game from here on out, Von's rehab can't take precedence over getting to the dance.
  5. I actually feel for him. He built an incredible D in San Fran and then did it again with the Jets. He should be sought after as a coordinator.
  6. About the Von situation, it was intriguing that McD used him as part of a 5-2 defense on Sunday. Five D lineman and it produced a sack on its first try. Maybe that’s a great way to get him reps on obvious passing downs?
  7. We faced Swift last year and didn’t have too much trouble with him. We also have a good record of containing top WRs, excluding Justin Jefferson.
  8. It sucks that petty tyrants who care more about winning than anything, even the rules, often end up winning. Belichick comes to mind here too.
  9. Bills 34, Eagles 27 (Eagles down 34-20 late but score in garbage time)
  10. My brain can't accept a Friday NFL game. Feels really wrong. That said, let's go Boyle!
  11. Did @Steinsman1981 mention he is offering visa and immigration services for 50% off this month using the code GIANTSPUNTER?
  12. LaPorta looks good. Solid contributor already. But Kincaid flashes way more. You see star potential with DK.
  13. PS I like hearing about people's cool cooking set-ups here. I have learned a fair amount about cooking from TBD. Now I want to try a Blackstone, pellet smoker, and a big green egg...
  14. Maybe we call him Doc Brady? (As in, Monster Energy "THE DOCTOR")
  15. Berlin. Agreed about the Cowboys game. It was 2019. Also, like most of our big wins under McD, it wasn't close at the end, thankfully!
  16. If that's what it is, just one more reason to not feel cool about turning over a Tesla self-driving mode. Dang.
  17. For a few years, I used to deep fry the bird at my sister's place in Buffalo, which was awesome. One year it snowed the whole time and I was out there with beers having a blast, watching snow flakes falling into the bubbling oil. Another year I smoked it on a big Weber kettle. Not very fancy but it came out really great. Now that we're in Germany, I'm just roasting a couple turkey legs for the four of us (a four year old and a one year old don't need much). No cranberries to be found. Have a great Turkey Day, all. Enjoy being in the USA, those who are!
  18. I have a strangely good feeling about this. Eagles are due to be flat. If Brady calls a game like last time, I feel like we can score 30 easy. His sense of flow was that much better. There's one big caveat in my mind: we have to be up two or three scores by late in the fourth. I have no faith than McD can beat Siriani in a strategic endgame. (Or Reid, Harbaugh, Shanahan, etc.) If we want to win a Super Bowl with him, it's probably gonna take a string of 10+ point victories.
  19. I love that we’re running more 4-3. Game has shifted and this is a good call.
  20. Times playoff simulator says if the Bills go 10-7 they have a 45-49% of making the playoffs (depending on which two teams they lose to) Too close for comfort
  21. Thank you for this. I am in Berlin and am going to try to make cheesesteaks here. I can find ribeye, fried onions, provolone, but no way to get Amoroso's or cherry peppers... hmmmm PS embarrassing admission: I first tried (and loved) cheesesteaks at age 13 at Original Philly Cheesesteak Co. at Walden Galleria mall.
  22. Love how he gets 4 yards from nothing, 15 if you give him a hole.
  23. In-rhythm Josh! Dorsey can’t dance…
