  1. Berlin, Germany. 12:30am to 4am game time. Wanted to sleep from 9pm to midnight but of course way too hepped up. Spouse, five year old and two year old fast asleep. I miss home (Buffalo) at times like this. I miss picking up a sub at Wegman’s on Alberta on the way to the game. And a million other things. That’s why I come here.
  2. What does this even mean? He obviously is.
  3. Ps watching from Germany and a fellow Bills fan is coming over, game time is 12:30am. Spouse rolled her eyes when I told her we’re hosting. But she understood!
  4. Finally. One of the longest weeks of my life! LET'S GO!
  5. Just watched the replay. Dan Campbell costs the Lions with the overaggressiveness. You have Sonic running wild and you're throwing passes with your WR? Just stupid. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels was really impressive. Rare to see a rookie with that calm.
  6. Crowd chanting 3 peat. Creative.
  7. Texans kicker hitting it so flat today
  8. KC probably wins, but is it me or does Mahomes quite a bit less accurate than he used to?
  9. I mean, this is not bad: "Bottom Line: In frigid conditions, the team that executes the run game effectively and avoids turnovers will have the upper hand. The Bills’ experience in the cold is a big intangible, but you can’t ignore Henry’s ability to dominate if given the chance. It’s shaping up to be a classic cold-weather slugfest!" But it all reads like a bunch of received wisdom, with major factual errors no human fan would make ("Diggs and co"). There isn't a sense of real understanding or any new thoughts.
  10. Shows how lost they are. I don’t see the Ravens coming into our house and winning unless we have a very uncharacteristic game (a bunch of turnovers or a super flat performance).
  11. from ESPN.com: Kahler's pick: Ravens 28, Bills 25 Moody's pick: Ravens 30, Bills 23 Walder's pick: Ravens 31, Bills 27 FPI prediction: BUF, 50.3% (by an average of 0.3 points) It’s really wild, it’s hard to find any talking head picking the team with the better record playing at home whose QB plays far better in the postseason. Let’s go, guys. Time to shut all these numbskulls up. L. F. G.
  12. We just got an oven with air fryer. How long do wings need in them? I always deep-fried before.
  13. I've heard Madrid is one of the coolest cities to visit. If the Bills play them, I am there!
  14. I loved his work--Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Dune, Elephant Man, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire... He was a genius making unforgettable moving images and sounds. What an inspiration.
  15. Haha! You got me, I meant Mario Edwards.
  16. Also, the Chiefs' biggest weakness is in protecting Mahomes. Texans strength is their D line: Will Anderson, Mario Williams and Danielle Hunter, plus they have depth. If they start getting to the QB it could be like when KC got demolished by the Bucs in the Super Bowl.
  17. Stephen A actually made some great points about Lamar's performance in the playoffs versus Josh's. Even quoted the stats: Lamar 6 TD and 6 INT in 6 games Josh 21 TD and 4 INT in 10 games He repeated them three times.
  18. Don’t forget the Tops shooting. That affected our players.
  19. About the Texans' chances: it will have been 3 weeks since Kansas City played a meaningful game. Strong chance they will take a quarter or so to get going. Five years ago, you may remember, the Texans had exactly this situation against the no. 1 seeded Chiefs. They jumped out to a 21-0 lead, but Mahomes brought the Chiefs storming back with 4 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter and won 51-31. However, this is not that Chiefs offense. That was the team with Hill and peak Kelce. If this Texans team can jump on them in the first quarter it could be huge.
  20. Man I love those crab chips they have down there… Herr’s seasoned with Old Bay… oh yeah
  21. Baltimore has a great Afghan restaurant, weirdly. The Helmand. But I think poultry is on the menu. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes and a chimichurri. Course, the game starts at 12:30am for me. Crazy thing is two friends (who also have kids) are coming over anyway. Game’s too big to skip.
  22. Actually I feel calm about it, but no one actually knows what will happen. That’s why they play. Maybe I’m also traumatized because the night before the Bills-Giants Super Bowl I was literally planning how to celebrate our first Lombardi. I do love the idea of inviting a player from the drought to come to New Orleans.
